Valet damaged my car and now I can't get a response. I went to the Omar Courtz event at The Vermont Hollywood on Saturday, May 18 and used the valet service provided by Proper Parking. When I got my car back, there was noticeable damage. I reached out right away, spoke with someone named Aiden, and followed up with photos and a full description to the email he gave me. Since then? Nothing. No reply. No update. Just silence. I've done everything they asked, and now I'm left hanging. It's starting to feel like they're hoping I'll just stop following up and take the loss. I'm not that kind of customer. If this is how they handle issues, especially after something as serious as vehicle damage, I'd think twice before using them, whether you're a customer or someone hiring them for an event. Absolutely horrible! The location is fine, however when we were trying to leave we were trapped with a car behind us and no way out without damaging our vehicle, nearby vehicles, or the fence on the property. At this time we have been stuck for an hour and can only hope to be on our way soon. Sense many other people have to do some creative maneuvering in order to leave due to being in similar situations. There is nothing proper about this business. The company has no respect for any laws and regulations, if you have any troubles with this business they will ghost you. They have football stadium lights that are directly faced at my building the bright overhead lighting in the lot has been left on overnight, even when it is empty. Residents in the building across N El Centro have been having issues with the bright lights affecting sleep quality, ambiance, and general comfortability, particularly in the lower units (floors 2-6). The lights are so strong that they come through the building's blackout shades, and I need a good night's sleep after three weeks of this same issue.  Lights are being left on at the Proper Parking lot space at the corner of N El Centro Ave and Selma Avenue. read more

Proper Parking scammed my organization out of $1,400.00. I was given a quote by Chris Adoian, the Proper Parking president, for 35 reserved parking spaces at Proper Parking's 1800 Vine lot for October 5th and 6th. I agreed to the price and was sent an invoice, which was promptly paid. No receipt was given and my follow up email was not responded to. When people arrived at the parking lot on the 5th, the parking attendant had no knowledge of our party's reservation and the attendees had to pay on their own. Chris Adoian was left a voicemail that morning requesting to resolve the issue and did not return the call. On October 6th the lot was completely closed to all parking. read more

I have worked with this company several times. Unfortunately they are not reliable since they don't have good support staff. They lied to me saying the staff is patrolling the cars which they parked in a no parking zone but the truth is that there wasn't another guy, but they billed me for him. Can't recommend them. I parked at Propers 1841 North Highland lot the other day when my friends & I were going to Lucky Strike. We spent awhile trying to find a close & affordable spot to park my car, since its Hollywood & a weekend I didnt think we'd be in much luck. But we stumbled arcoss their lot when we were trying to find parking that wasnt $30+. Very fair price for the distance to where I was going (few blocks down the road).
