I have worked with Elite Valet Services for many years with a big annual fundraiser at a big outdoor venue. So I knew immediately who to call when I needed assistance with valet parking for a client party I was hosting at my house. I live on a narrow private lane with limited parking and we didn't want our older guests to have to park and walk too far. Scott Garrison with Elite Valet was amazing to work with and confirmed the overflow parking on the cross street. We communicated a few times prior to the event, he confirmed the onsite manager's name and # for my party. Based on all the reviews I thought this was a company that I could relay on for my wedding day but I was sadly mistaken. I'm wondering if due to COVID staff was new or not properly trained but here are the 3 main things that equated to such a bad review and why I would not recommend them. 1. Two of my guest informed me that they had to park on the street because valet told them a "tip" was required in order for them to park it in the venue. By definition a tip is a gesture of good will not a requirement, plus I had paid a decent price to have them valet my wedding regardless if guest tipped. 2. Our Grand entrance was delayed by 5 minutes due to car alarms going off in the parking lot. 5 minutes doesn't seem like much but 5 minutes waiting outside the venue because car alarms were set off was irritating. When asked, the valet personal said they had misplaced the key tag (to match the car and key) and could not identify the vehicle. My wedding planner had to go in and ask whose car it was and had them step outside to identify their keys. Very unprofessional. 3. Third and the worst was that my bridesmaid at the end of the night brought me outside to show me that one of the attendance was visiabily DRUNK and could hardly keep his balance. When I went outside to confirm I saw that they were splitting tips with him as he was slurring his words and losing his balance! I wish I didn't have to write this review but beware, the attendance are very unprofessional! read more
