HONEST REVIEW: (Not a fake account like others here to raise their star rating. All fake reviews are from the same area code in Glendale where their business is based out of and mostly written after my wife's negative review of the company. Dishonest business practices!) Valet service should be easy. Park a customer's vehicle and return it. They parked our vehicle, but here is what happened on the return. The valet dropped off the car with the doors locked and keys inside. He tried to get them out but to no avail. After a long time, the valet called Fred, the manager, and Fred blamed us. Fred said this has never happened before and that it is our fault. I spoke to Fred and he said to call back on Monday. The valet was panicking and saying he is just a temp worker and doesn't know what to do. The valet called another valet and got into his car and they both hid around the corner in his car. We called AAA and they came out and got the keys out. The valet or Fred were no where in sight and with no solution for us. I called Fred on Monday and this is what he told me: "the car auto-locked on its own and it's not our fault."(I have owned this vehicle since 2000 and this has never happened.) He went on to say that the valet stated in his report that he opened the vehicle door and got the keys out. Funny, no mention of him hiding or that AAA in reality opened our vehicle. Fred was rude and dishonest to me, plain and simple. He never apologized or tried anything to make things right. I understand that this "situation" may never have happened before, but it happened to us. And it was bad. Fred or the valet didn't know what to do except to place the blame on us - the customer. My suggestion: Look at who is reviewing this Yelp account before hiring them. The account names sounds similar (currently lack any profile photos) and the dates are the same and mostly from the same area code in Glendale, CA (this may change) where Luxor Valet Parking Services is based out of. Again, Fred is dishonest in trying to raise his star rating on Yelp. Any one can park a car, but not everyone is honest. Fred is not honest. Do not hire them!! UPDATE to Fred's response below: Fred you are again being dishonest with your future clientele. Let me very be clear, I never mentioned anything about Yelp. You and I know that's the truth. I will clarify about the comments that you are now misleading your Yelp readers. - The night of the occurrence we spoke at about 1:30am. You kept saying that it was our fault and you cannot do anything about the situation. I was not rude to you. I was asking for your help, and you offered none. You said you can't help because the office is closed and to call on Monday. What was i supposed to do on a Saturday night at 1:30am with my keys locked in the car? - The Valet did take off the antenna without our permission. The antenna is still bent out of shape. The truth is the Valet tried, but was unsuccessful to open the Jeep door with the antenna. This was also witnessed not only by me, the bouncer at The Wellsbourne, my father-in-law and also my wife. In fact, customers of The Wellsbourne were offering their help and ideas to open the door, but ALL were unsuccessful. (When I spoke to you on the phone you said the Valet opened the door with the Antenna, not us.) - The antenna did not open the Jeep door. My wife kept saying not to use the antenna. But he did. After nothing was being solved an hour and a half later, I called AAA to open the Jeep. AAA opened the Jeep, I have a record of this if you would like to see. Your valet was with another valet sitting around the corner in another car. We did not see him the rest of the night after we told him we were calling AAA. - There is no "after market external locking system" on the Jeep. Not sure where you got that information from, but that is incorrect. It was a mistake made by the valet who accidentally locked the door, plain and simple. - You NEVER offered any form of compensation monetary or otherwise to compensate for AAA service, nor did I ever ask you for it. We both know that's the truth. Feredi Mashihi, I understand you are doing damage control for your future clients. But you still will not take responsibility for your employee's actions that night. Fred, your valet gave me your business card with your name and contact information. The valet booth (which is labeled with LUXOR VALET PARKING SERVICES - which I also have a photo of) itself sits between The Wellesbourne and Gyu-Kaku. I just called Gyu-Kaku and was informed that they aren't directly serviced by you guys (it's mainly for The Wellesbourne) but customers valet with you all the time. So, yes, you do indeed service that area. Newest UPDATE to Fred's latest post: 1. No, my Jeep does not have an aftermarket locking mechanism. No alarm and no aftermarket key fob of any kind. The door NEVER locks unless it's manually done so inside of the car by the driver or by inserting the key itself into the lock from the outside. 2. Yes, things happen. Why is it so difficult for you or your employees to admit that it was just a mistake on your part? Never had to go back and forth with a company in such an unprofessional manner before. A simple apology would have gone a long way back then. 3. I was next to my husband when he spoke to you on the phone that night. He did not speak rudely nor use any bad language. 4. Your employee forcibly took my antenna off of my car himself. I said that I did not want this done, but he proceeded to ignore me and used it to try and unlock the car from the inside. He continued to bend it and was unable to open it. I, AGAIN, stated to stop doing that. 5. You and I both know that no money was offered to help pay for any locksmith services. C'mon! 6. You were never threatened to be "destroyed on Yelp". A little dramatic, no? If you have a bad review perhaps it's because you deserve it? This whole situation doesn't have to be so complicated. Your employee accidentally locked the car when he returned it to us. A simple apology would have sufficed along with some sort of assistance to unlock the car. You offered neither of those. You STILL refuse to take any responsibility for your employees and your company. By the way, didn't you also state that your employee was the one who unlocked our car? He didn't. AAA did after we called them. So, enough with the run-around. Who's lying here? Your employee? You? Both? At this point, who cares? This whole operation is just all-around shady. My conclusion on this matter is that you're unbelievably unprofessional and are placing your company in a terrible light. You back pedal, edit your comments, distort the truth, and will say just about anything to save your butt. So i was having a event at my house and i had another valet but we had some misunderstanding, so 4 hour prior to my event i called luxor valet they gave me a great price i took it right away!! When it was time for them to start the valet.... All i got to say wow they were fast, professional.. I loved their valet booth it was so elegant it lighted up and so it was easy for my guests to find my house!! I was frantically looking for a valet service company to host a party at my house this past Thursday night. A friend of mine gave me Fred's number and the rest is history. I called Fred on Tuesday night and I knew it was really late notice but Fred said he'd call me back to make sure he's got enough staff to cover the event. He called me back ten minutes later and said he'd be able to do if. Thursday night came along and how guys came and set up on time. All of our guests said they received extremely great service. Fred was persistent and figured out a great solution to my parking dilemma! I had a large Halloween party at my residence. There is absolutely no parking close by. Rather than make my guests suffer and try and figure it out, I decided to go with a valet service. I called multiple valets and was met with little to no options on just where to put all the cars! Most services are happy to valet your car, on the street, right next to your event location. Those same places told me to find a parking lot to rent. Let me tell you--not an easy task! Fred figured out everything for me. Found a parking lot, negotiated, and worked out a great deal from me. Perfect service. I was having a get together at my house last weekend and I used Luxor valet and wow amazing service, I've used a few different companies in the past but in Glendale where I live. It's very hard to get a valet service since most of them can't obtain a permit in this city. I guess the insurance requirements are high and most companies just don't do business here , anyways out of the few that do I talked to Fred at Luxor valet and he gave me a not so high and not so low of a price, it was mid pricing compared to the other companies but they just felt the most honest and trustworthy. They explained things in detail as to why they needed the amount of attendants where they would park and etc... Upon arrival they showed up 40 min earlier than they were supposed to they set up and let me know they were there and asked me if I had any questions or concerns or anything they should know about the neighbors ( as in if there are any neighbors that don't like cars in front of their house etc..) my guests started coming and we had more cars than expected and they parked them and did not complain or say anything. They helped walk in a few of the older guests we had and that was so sweet of them. They were just overall very professional. I have worked with luxor valet parking in ny home on numerous event and they have always done great A+ Job whether it was 30 or 300 guests, this guy's are always on time and dressed professional, courtesy and helpful to all the guest and make the extra effort in everyway needed ( example : I left my jack or laptop in the car can someone get it for me and etc) The owner Fred is very efficient and attentive to special requests as well, for example coordinating shuttles, flashlights, cones, keeping neighbors happy and most importan keeping guests as safe and comfortable at all times.
