I've always had…read moreon-premise laundry facilities available to me, so this was my first experience with laundered services (outside of dry cleaning). Called them about wash&fold services (as I've been cleaning and unpacking for what seems like weeks now), and didn't have time to babysit my wash as I was trying to get bits and pieces done before work. The lady answered my questions politely, said I'd be down soon. I dropped my stuff off - the facility is bright and clean. Maybe not the softest neighborhood, but the storefront is welcoming. The woman who took my laundry weighed it - when she calculated the total she saw the amount (and maybe the look on my face) and asked if I was a student - I am, and she gave me a discount. I asked if she could have it ready by three - I had to work at five - and she assured me it wouldn't be a problem. I arrive shortly after three, everything is ready to go. She even helps me to my car. I get home, everything is neatly folded - but the thing I can't get over is that my laundry smells like home. Whatever she used, it's the same as I use, which was a wonderful surprise. My blankets are beautifully clean, and that night I curled up in them and for the first time in over a month (for that's how long it had been since I had my things), I felt like I had come home. I slept wonderfully that night. Even though it's out of my way, I'll be bringing my laundry down that way, whether to do myself or to have done. I appreciate the attendant who took such good care of my things - if you're reading this, you made a weary soul very, very happy. Long story short, I'll be back!

The next day I took it in to them and they gave me a really hard time. All I wanted was for them to fix the suit to the condition I brought it in. They argued and said they wouldn't re hem the pants. When the auto text came in, they charged me $22 to clean the suit. I also noticed there was a bad iron mark on the sleeve which I didn't even talk about but would never wear the suit in public. The damage was so bad, I can't wear the suit. Just about the worse customer service I've ever had. Really bad dry cleaner.

Why did the cleaners not put a tag or ticket on the trousers to indicate that a rip was found on the clothing? I saw only about 3-4 people in the about 1.5 hours it took to do all the laundry and fold it. Most people were chill, although one person was playing music on their phone kind of loud, but it was music I liked (Lady Gaga), so no major complaints. The rest of the time it was quiet. We've used them four or five times now after having an awful experience with the other nearby dry cleaner, and so far so good. Things have been clean, on time when promised, haven't been ruined, and the pricing isn't bargain but it's fine. I give them extra credit for knowing their limitations: another piece that had been ruined by the other cleaner was in an uncleanable condition, and they admitted as much before taking our money to try to clean it. Places that do the cleaning themselves tend to know this stuff much more than the ship-off-to-cleaning-plant storefront operations. We haven't tried any tailoring/alterations here as yet, but they do them on-site. I'm giving them four stars within the category of dry cleaners largely because every other place has been a two or a one thus far, so you figure within same-class they're well above average.
