I asked the painters how long they'd need to be staying, after their ladders showed little regard for the tree providing the van's shade, and responses from the dreadlocked white guy in charge were rude and hostile. "I'll stay as long as I like." OK, legally your right, buddy. I like my neighbor, and I hope he does a good job painting her house, but I won't be using or recommending this company anytime soon. Seriously, I love supporting local business, but it's not that tough to accommodate the neighborhood you're working in.

I finally made the decision the Saturday before the July 4th weekend and needed it completed by the time the movers would arrive on Thursday. I called so many painters that I found on Yelp and Nextdoor. Only one of them answered, and that was Jose. He was at my house within 30 minutes and worked with me to decide what would work within my budget. I was incredibly happy with what we were able to work out. Jose painting all the halls, kitchen, dining room, and living room (with those infamous high ceilings). He started on Tuesday and did the entire job HIMSELF. Best of all--he got it done by the time the movers arrived on Thursday. Jose was everything I could've asked for--professional, trustworthy, dedicated, and detail oriented.

We had another contractor come in and just botched up my house. Eric and his team came in and showed the utmost respect for our property and did a top notch job in protecting our floors, windows, and railings while they redid our ceiling. This was a unique job with soundproofing and fireproofing and he had no issues providing the needed (hard to find) materials. I will only use his company moving forward for all my drywall needs.

A great experience with Padron Drywall. Eric was fast in responding to my request for an estimate…read moreto do extensive drywall repair (and building some add'l partition) throughout our offices after a flood. They started exactly when they said they would, they had a really competent crew who made sure they got the finish as perfect as we needed it to be (we expected a very high-quality result to come up to the standard of our original build-out), and they finished on time. Drywalling is a messy process with a lot of dust created in the sanding process and joint compound ('mud') that winds up in all sorts of places. The area they were working in allowed for more mess to be made since a lot more construction (flooring etc) was going to happen later. I would hope/expect there to be a bit more attn to cleanup or keeping the dust down a bit in a more finished space, so check on that, but in this case it was fine (they did do some cleanup) and they got the job itself done expertly, quickly, and on-budget. Would I use them again? Absolutely. Very reliable and easy to work with.
