When they were unloading into my new home, I had just screwed my Ring doorbell in the door and one of the gentlemens clumsiness knocked it off the door and broke the plastic casing my ring door bell was locked into. Then my upstairs bathroom box was packed so poorly my coconut oil leaked everywhere in that box and everything was so thrown in that box unorganized. Some of my kitchen items were packed like that as well. Except for the glass. The glass items were prepped, packed and done perfectly. No complaints there. Honestly, thought, these boys actually packed my last 2 biggest rooms in a timely matter, I'm glad I was there to pack certain items. However, my wardrobe boxes had a metal rod that never stayed in which was unfortunate. The pricing at the end was mind blowing. !! 6 hours later and $1800 !! dollars later I was moved into my new home and out of my old. Also, there are 3 different $1800 charges I called about and got a headquarters line that had to send a message to the local office and they'll get back to Me, frustrating. Which is just an odd way to do business, but ok. So I do have to follow up on those charges today Jan. 30th. BUT, I can honestly say after they side swiped some random ladies car, and broke a few of my items, plus $1800 later out of my pocket I am completely moved in. And I couldn't have done it with out these 3 gentlemen from College HUNK. The only complaint I have is for these boys to brush up on how to pack more organized in an organized manner for people thay have A LOT of things and is OCD =). But overall we got the job done together that I hired College HUNKs for. They were super polite and a great packing/moving team for the job. Will I recommend them for anybody that needs help moving and is just 1 single individual person with limited time and energy bc of their work schedule, YES. But for multiple people that are moving I probably won't recommend College HUNKs purely for the pricing. Just the basic rental is $400 bucks without the time, tools and labor / $199 for truck and gas, and $199 for something else right off the jump. That is pricey!! I could have took two days to pack and probably paid $300 for more boxes and still would not have paid $1837.90 and know exactly where everything is at that I packed. If I ever move I will plan ahead and save myself the money. And not be charged $1800 x 3 times. That alone is more headache that I do not need, that I need to follow up on today. The quality of packing bathroom items could have been better. The value was way too expensive. The service requested was just that, a service done in a timely manner because I'm only 1 person. If I do ever move I will be very clear on how I want everything packed.

The consistency was such a pleasant surprise because the carriers were communicative and accommodating all the way through the process. ABF even delayed the drop off for me so I could celebrate the holidays with family. In closing, if all of UPACK's are this awesome, I highly recommend!

I can happily say that this was not the case with Mighty Titans. I asked for a quote on Yelp and Ginger contacted me within 24 hours to answer all my questions. The movers, Anthony and Rick, showed up and didn't waste any time surveying the house and loading the truck. They worked diligently, knew just how to load and unload the truck to fit everything, and were very polite. Everything got to our new house just like it was when we packed it and they helped put the furniture back together. While carrying furniture into the new house, the movers nicked the wall going up the stairs. It was an honest mistake and they were genuinely sorry that it happened. Ginger was quick to help us resolve the issue, and they again apologized for the error. Overall I had a great experience and would absolutely recommend using Mighty Titans. Of note, I used a 26ft U-Haul truck and only reserved the movers for 4 hours when really it took 5 (they just charge you after the fact if you go over). I would recommend at least 5-6 hours if you are going to use that size truck. Also make sure that you get an appliance dolly and furniture pads if you need them. The Mighty Titan movers only bring a regular size dolly and a toolkit for furniture.

I didn't want to push him, so we hired someone else to do the heavy lifting. I spoke with Ginger on and off about the service, price and method of payment accepted. On our agreed upon date, two young men showed up at the agreed upon time. The minimum time allotment was 2 hours and that wasn't a problem. I quickly showed them around and put them to work. They were very respectful and careful with my items. We relocated a sectional, another large sofa, an entertainer from the garage, and lots of boxes. At the end of our time, Ginger was called and she sent an electronic invoice which I was allowed me to pay without providing my credit card info over the phone which is a pet peeve for me. All in all a great service. I wish I knew the fellas that help with my particular move as I'd request the same team. That would be nice.

We were impressed by her reviews here and on Google and her rapport which was delineated, it seems, by way of her reviews. She was at times overly helpful, communicative, and endorsed professionalism. However, more recent interactions with her have tainted that representation and, in our view, her professionalism. She reached a point in the business relationship where she is unjustifiably offended and makes decisions for you without initially consulting you, and I believe it is because she is a one-woman show and needs help executing. There were a few instances where she wasn't going to be finished cleaning the home in time for check-in of our guests despite being scheduled and informed ahead of time and there was a time when she was still there cleaning when the guests checked in, which is a big no-no in the short-term rental space. Yet, believing in second chances, we continued to utilize her services because we believe, strongly, in supporting Black-owned and woman-owned businesses because we are the one of the same. We always paid her within a couple of hours of receiving her invoices and in full. Her responses to us started to become flippant and misplaced. She made a decision at her last clean for us to take linens from the home without our directive to do so, stating that she would clean them at her own home. We kindly stated to her that was not necessary and she proceeded to, again unjustifiably, respond to us that we thought we were "better than her" and that "her home is clean." We were remarkably taken aback because we never insinuated that her home wasn't clean and she became angry with us for a decision she made without first consulting us. After that text message intercourse, she abruptly resigned and stated that she "no longer wanted to approach the premises." We kindly accepted her decision. We therefore made plans to which she agreed to return our linens that she unilaterally removed from the home and our keys since she resigned, and then she abrupted decided after agreeing that she didn't want to do that and that we were "inconveniencing her." Mind you, she made sure to abruptly resign after she received her payment from us of $825 after delivery of services for the week, which would be her final payment. We never once tried to inconvenience her. We never once did anything to make her feel less than. We never once treated her with any ounce of disrespect or disgrace. We appreciated her and conveyed that to her often. I feel what will impact her ability to sustain a reputable and scalable business is her inability to exhibit emotional intelligence in her dealings with her customers/clients. She would also benefit from hiring additional staff to help her achieve operational excellence focused on efficiency. Finally, she credits herself with the success of our AirBNB as if she were a business partner instead of someone we hired to perform a service. That is all we did and were doing. She took it as more. She was not a business partner and if you hire her company beware of her overattachment and overinvolvement in how you run your business. At the end of the day, we wish her nothing but the best and optimal success, but we just didn't have time for the aggravation from communicating and dealing with her later in this relationship. There are too many cleaning services who would be glad to provide the services we need.

We just did a PCS from Ft Gordon, and we've been around this whole moving thing a few times so we're not strangers to the process. We're also not control freaks so we weren't breathing down anyone's neck or irritating them while they're trying to do their jobs, otherwise MAYBE I could understand how we were treated. Scott Heyman, VP of Sales did the walk-through with me, was perfectly friendly. Packers show up and mistreated/mishandled/packed incorrectly (we saved original boxes and styrofoam packaging) some pretty high-value items that we specifically warned them about ahead of time, and completely ignored many specific requests from my husband and I. I wish I was exaggerating-- I made eye contact with one guy and asked him a question and he literally turned around and walked away from me. Same guy (his name was Warren) was completely rude and grumpy from the moment he walked into our house. He packed up my kitchen, ignored my 2 requests about packing my knives and non-stick pans (even after reminding him a second time). While in the process of packing up the kitchen, he asked both my husband and I to reach down to the lower shelves and pick up dishes that he "couldn't get because he had back issues." Another guy needed my husband's help with something-- these are HUGE no-no's! The packers/movers are NEVER supposed to have the owners help because of liability issues. Never mind the fact that I was 7 months pregnant and Warren wants me bending down and grabbing dishes for him. What makes me so angry is that he bragged about being 68 years old and how he's been doing this work since before all of us were born...good for you buddy but it sounds like you need to be in another line of work if you're going to pull that crap. He knew every trick in the book and it was obvious that he was using them. Anyway this is just naming a FEW of the problems that happened on the first day-- I called Scott around lunch time to ask him a few questions for clarification (I.e. things that were not communicated to us) and he was incredibly snippy, rude, and condescending to me, not at all the same person who did the walk-through with me. Next day comes, no movers show up. I called Scott around 9:30am and I get the same rude and snippy tone that nobody would be coming today (also something that never was communicated to us). Overall everyone and everything was so shady with this company. I already made all the specifics known to the military but we will never be using them again if we can help it. Beware!!! Update in response to H&S's reply: Denali Group managed the move but obviously sub-contracted, as most moving companies do unless the move is local. If H&S/Mayflower was not associated with this move then why were the boxes labeled Mayflower, why did Scott do a walk-through for the move, why were all the movers/packers wearing H&S tshirts, and why did our belongings get loaded into a truck labeled 'Mayflower'?
