We originally used Mayflower to move from AZ to SC May of 2024. That experience was wonderful! When we had to move again July of 2024 from SC to FL we did not think twice when we contact Mayflower to move us again. I am so disappointed with the second move. We did not do a full service move we had everything boxed up and staged in the garage / living room for them. The drive team did not put down any thing to protect the floor for the move out house. Things are broken and damaged from the second move. When the truck was being unloaded some boxes were give to me upside down off the truck. My grandmothers china hutch was missing two wooden wheels and the drive team did nothing about it. Desk screws were screwed back into the desk for moving and we know from our first move that those screws should have been put in a baggy so they didn't get lost. Luckily only one was lost and we were able to find a replacement for it. If you choose to use this moving company I would ask to speak with the drive team prior to the move day so you can discuss the details of how they load and unload the truck. Addition to review: I misunderstood the replacement policy for broken / damaged items. After posting the initial review I received a call from Wendy to discuss my service and replacement options. She clarified / explained the replacement policy and that they will make it right. I have changed my review from a 2 star to 4 star. We used ADSI for a short in-state move and they were excellent. The price for our move was much less than we expected. They were very efficient and diligent in making sure not to bump the walls or the furniture as they went through door ways, around corners and into the truck. They were in contact with us from the very beginning to the very end of the moving process. The staff is very knowledgeable and extremely helpful during such a stressful time. We used ADSI for an in town move. They carefully boxed the items that we had not and were efficient in their work. They were working with a 93 year old family member and my 80 year old parents and had lots of "helpful" advice. They were very patient and kind. There are not enough stars in the Yelp galaxy to award to ADSI moving. Every interaction I had with any of their employees was the best. Wendy Talton consistently went above and beyond as did Lindsey Longbottem. Mr. Longbottem even responded to my email on a weekend. Ms. Talton was always professional as well as friendly. I spent many days researching moving companies to help my daughter with her move from Georgia to California. Mr. Longbottem assisted with the video inventory which was very thorough. Other movers had asked for verbal inventories only. There were cheaper movers out there but there are also many horror stories. Frequently, movers who ask for a verbal inventory change their cost on moving day and the consumer is left with a much higher bill. ADSI Moving Systems did everything transparently and honestly. In today's world, this is worth a lot! The communication and follow-up were great. Our shipment arrived on time and we were kept apprised of the transport. Thank you Adsi Moving Systems! New house isn't quite ready but you've got to move for the new occupants of your previous home? They offer temporary and non-temporary warehouse storage for household goods depending on the need as well. I work here so I might be a little biased, but I can truthfully tell you I would never let anyone else move me ever again. Pricing is competitive, customer service is exemplary, and even if you do have damages, their claims department is great for helping resolve the issue very quickly. I moved from PA to GA and therefore met with the United Rep in PA. He was fantastic. However, the unloaders from the local GA franchise were horrendous. My PA Rep advised that all I had to do was mark the boxes with what specific room it was to be placed in and the unloaders would place it there. These guys were lazy and paid no attention to where the boxes went. I could understand a few boxes not in their respective rooms, but I had to LOCATE and move boxes all over my house. It was a terrible experience. I was also told that the unloaders were to put my beds together, and if I didn't mention this fact, they would have "skated" out of that as well. I like United as a company, however to put it bluntly, this particular franchise SUCKS!!! read more
