Thouroughly disgusted and upset. One word. RATS !!! Let me say it again. Rats, rats, and more…read morerats. You will find in the photos evidence of what the rats left behind ( I spared you having to see the dead ones I found ) . They brought in items from other units (feathers, rope, etc.) . They tore up my boxes. My shoes. My clothes. They ruined photographs that cannot be replaced. They chewed up valuable paperwork. They urinated and defecated on EVERYTHING in my unit. Zero response to multiple complaints. And.. Guess what ? ALL of those things are specifically EXCLUDED in the insurance, so forget about that. Not to mention, in one year there were two rate hikes that nearly doubled my original monthly with absolutely NO explanation or justification. I've had several storage units in my lifetime. I have NEVER experienced this in any other town in any other state. This place is horrible, and I am currently seriously contemplating a lawsuit.

They beat their competitor's (Pods) price by 20% and had none of the ridiculous surcharges and time restrictions. I also priced full service moves by brokers and relocation companies but the cost was triple and the reviews of nearly all companies in the industry were sketchy. The cost was less than a DIY with a truck & towing my car. The UPACK team's customer service from pick-up (South east) to drop off (West Coast) finish was above & beyond my expectations. All promised timelines were met and my belongings were perfect (see better and after photo). The consistency was such a pleasant surprise because the carriers were communicative and accommodating all the way through the process. ABF even delayed the drop off for me so I could celebrate the holidays with family. In closing, if all of UPACK's are this awesome, I highly recommend!
