I'd never dealt with this kind of issue, and emotionally, it's a lot, after having just purchased a home and then finding all these things wrong with it, worrying about the potential effects it could have on your family's health, not to mention paying for all these people involved to fix it. There's the air hygienist (who needs to retest, too), the mold remediation team, the air duct cleaners, water proofers, contractors to repair all the cuts in the house, and you'll probably want house cleaners, too, for good measure. We're talking thousands and thousands. When looking for mold remediation, I started with the list my air hygienist gave me and reached out to three companies who had the best reviews online. I'm so grateful First Priority was on that list. David was the only person who took the time to discuss the issue on the phone and help me try to understand what was going on. I felt immediately better just chatting with him. The others just scheduled times to come by and gave quotes, and during their visits, they couldn't answer basic questions ("I'm just a consultant"), or they were trying to upsell and get us to contract out the repair work when we hadn't even figured out the mold problem!
