This was a perfectly fine USPS outlet on Harlem Avenue. It was large and spacious and clean. As a postal outlet it offered all the usual stuff one might look for, and did so very nicely. Inside there were a large amount of postal boxes that one could rent, enough counter staff to get you through the lines, and all the usual supplies. Outside there is ample parking, but in a very tight lot. You enter from Harlem and have to exit the same way. It would have been nice to have an entrance/exit on 111th also. Ratings wise - this place has a lot of 5s and 1s. I think they land right in the middle of that. USPS workers get a bad rap ... it is a tough customer service job that many people don't appreciate. Give the USPS people a break. read more

Worker at counter was ready for me and blurts out "hey old man" as in 'you're next' It obviously was a case of him never calling anyone from his teachers to a father (figure) Sir so he sure as hell wasn't gonna call me, sir I was just in shock. I couldn't believe someone could be so rude just because you walked in there to buy a stamp. read more

Worth post office should not even be allowed to deliver mail. They can't even put my mail in my box, it's another persons at another address consistently, if they are delivering a package, if it doesn't fit in the mail box, they leave it on the street...in puddles. Is it really that hard to drop it on the porch? for what we have to pay for delivery, and then if you try a and file a claim, it's your fault for not providing a place for the package, because obviously my mortgage that pays for a PORCH is not acceptable for a package, MAIL BOXES THAT MEET POSTAL CODE are wrong. This is the laziest, most useless waste of money I've seen. And I want to be clear, this is not a one time issue, this has been for 12 years. read more

My mail never got scanned in so I have no tracking info. There was nobody even in there and the guy at the counter working didn't take my packages for them to scan it he said just leave them on the counter he wasn't doing anything so why would he not just take them as they come in and scan them. What are they doing over there nothing it appears? This post office has really gone down hill. read more

Delivers mail when you have a vacation hold on. Does not forward mail when you have a temporary address change. Does not answer phone when you call them about a problem with mail delivery. Terrible service. Needs new management! read more

I come to this P.O. regularly and everyone seems very friendly and moves efficiently. Some people have never worked in a service industry and don't realize how draining it can be doing the same thing day in and day out. Have patience people and give some grace!!! I bet some of the complainers ask God for Grace but never give it to anyone else! read more

Love this post office!!! Most efficient one around. I go by two other post offices to go to this one because I know I will get good service. Every employee is kind and trying to do their best. Thank you!!! read more

Worse mail ppl ever, either they send me the wrong mail from other ppl or other buildings, I've been missing so many things I buy online. Even an iPhone 7s. Stop hiring old ppl or who even doesn't know how to deal with the mail delivery. This is the worse services I've ever been going through I lost over 2k $$$ on things and you ppl won't pay for it. I'll better start making police report. read more

Today, was my last day going to this USPS branch in Worth. I find the employees to be very unhelpful and always receive some sort of attitude from the 'hens' working the counter. They make you feel as if you are stupid if you can not figure out the 20 different kinds of forms you have to fill out for packages or if you do not know all of the shipping rates. Isn't that their job to help customers ? Sorry guys, Bridgeview USPS will be my new local. read more

I guess this is how our mail gets delivered now! This is not the first or second time that my mail has been delivered like this! I'm so sick of it! My mail is either late, messed with or someone else's mail. Seriously, something needs to be done!!! read more

They shipped back my package because of their mis labeling . Worst place don't go there

Let me start by stating that my home post office is located on 111th and Homan. It is possibly the worst post office in the Union. My escape was the Evergreen Park post office. That place has now gone downhill. As a result I find myself driving all the way to 112th and Harlem to come here. This place is rapidly turning into a cesspool. The lines are longer and slower every time I come here. You typically have two clerks and a manager type who really doesn't do anything other than accept prepaid packages and stand around. The regular clerks are slow and getting worse. The brunette female feels the need to chat with every customer that comes her way. The average "transaction" is four minutes long. I've timed it. Further, she often interrupts the other clerk and chimes in on his transaction while waiting on her own customer. This of course makes the transaction time longer. She needs to focus on her customer and move the line along. This isn't brain surgery. The male clerk is pleasant enough but is quite slow as well. He's the guy who looks like he should be on "Deadwood". Plus he'll take customers that have come in after you and service them if they are purchasing stamps. There's nothing that pisses me off more than when you're standing in line for 10+ minutes and the clerk takes someone who just walked in and helps them out because their transaction is easier. Of course this "express" service just delays the line even longer. He's also the passport guy so if you're waiting and a passport customer comes in you're out of luck and going to wait even longer. There's a third male clerk but he seems to be missing in action lately. He's no ball of fire either. They need to put in an automated machine for packages and stamp purchases. Competent customers could use it. Evergreen Park has it and the customers aren't the brightest but they survive. This location used to have such a machine but they took it away. I guess efficiency isn't welcome here. Come to think of it, this place should really be rated one star but that is reserved for the MTG office. read more

Just delivered a package to a very wrong address. HOw can they do that? just leave a package with the wrong street number and wrong street? I wonder how many people never get their mail read more

They're the laziest people ever here. I was home all day yet I got a note saying my package wasn't delivered because I wasn't home. They also constantly send my packages to the wrong house which has resulted in theft. Don't expect much out of the people that work here. read more

Worst post office ever. It should be closed down. There is always a huge line and wait. So aggravating. Drive a little further and go to the next town over...it will be faster. read more

I've read some of the complaints and I will say that the many times I've been here everyone has been good to me - Mark and Tony are good guys. read more

When my regular carrier is out, our mail service is a disaster. I either receive no mail, someone else's mail or they lose my mail entirely. That includes my paycheck. Calling to complain does no good. I had to chase a temporary carrier down because I saw him put my package in my mail box only to take it out and drive away. When I caught up to him he wouldn't give me my package. I called his supervisor and he made him come back to my house to deliver my package. At this point I feel like I'm being targeted for complaining. My regular mail carrier is phenomenal. I wish all carriers were like him. read more

Staff at the counter were very rude to me because I didn't know you couldn't use Media mail to ship a package. I thought it was a normal shipping label, but I guess not. Very rude and ignorant so I left but on my way out a very nice lady who works in the back helped me out and told me what to do. Thanks to her I owe her a ton, but the front desk people are the worst! read more

the post office could not tell my why it is after 4:00pm and no mail yet ! nothing like keeping track of those gov property trucks they drive ! This is not the first time I have had trouble with this Worth branch. Mail delivery people are not the best, the glories of a government job. read more

Never had a missing package until I started receiving my items through this office.I've had 2 packages that have gone missing, stolen, I'm sure in the past 3 months. The delivery drivers refuse to use the lockboxes correctly. On several occasions, I've seen other people's packages in them ready for anyone to just take. There are LOCKS on these things that the drivers are supposed to use and then put the key for said locks in our locked mailboxes. Not rocket science. I've resorted to having any packages sent to friend's houses because of this. The people working the counters are generally helpful, but I can't stand the drivers. read more

Every time I've contacted this location its been nothing but rude employees that I've had to deal with. Not sure why everyone that works there is always so angry but I don't deal with this post office unless I absolutely have to. read more

In response to Marea's comment about late mail delivery, many factors contribute to variations in timely delivery. There are vehicle breakdowns, vacations where routes have to be covered by the remaining employees. They sometimes have to take an hour or two off another route which puts them behind on theirs. With the micro-management that goes on now, there isn't much slacking. I retired from there several years ago and was glad to do it, because no matter what the weather is or the mail volume is..........they are expected to MOVE!!! Be careful, if you're freezing, go into a building and warm up, but make sure you're back in 8, no matter How icey it is!! I remember it well!!! Thanks! read more

Mark T is the universes best postal office employee. I'd wait in line longer just to get my postal needs completed by him. I almost didn't want to write this so people wouldn't want to wait for his excellent customer service. My passport service today was fast, efficient, courteous and friendly. Thank you Mark T, the other clerks could learn a few things from you. read more

Don't go here....its terrible. Used to be OK years ago not its less then 1 star. Service is poor, place looks like a trash bin, oh and ring the bell for service and wait for someone to come out including the postmaster come out. And don't ring the bell twice unless you want to get screamed at. read more

I won't even rate this post office except for Zero, I have been at my address for 25 years, in this time frame packages have been flopped on my porch or wherever they feel like dropping it, I have gone 3 months of not receiving any mail at all, they say we are sorry, I find this post office pathetic the only great carrier their is Jim. He is an amazing carrier, I am always appreciated of his service, the others no I'm not, they walk through my yard with no consideration of my landscaping, most cannot see my mail box and will lay my mail on my front porch stairs, others talk on their phone and smoke while working, my packages always come damaged in some way. And as far as the head post manager he needs to get off his chair and walk with each carrier on the route of 111th street as well as others in town here.. so he can see how his employees treat the mail as well as our properties.. I'm sure he will still say he is sorry, which means nothing, just another way to try and pacify us as customers. The others need to know how to read as well as knowing their numbers, how can this office operate being such a cluster mess? Why don't our complaints get dealt with? Because they are careless and lazy.. they get paid to not want to do their job properly. read more

I am giving four stars because the gentleman who helped me looks like Negan from The Walking Dead. LOL. He may not be all smiles but he was focused, helpful and does his job very well. I think they may have issues where they are short staffed at times and I know how frustrating it can be to serve a line of customers with no help. If you are looking to get your passport renewed or issued, you will find that they are not specific with the hours of service since it depends on whether they are short staffed or not. Your best bet is to obtain the forms from https://travel.state.gov and have them completed by the time you get there. That way all they have to do is take your picture, pay the fee (debit, check or cash), send it out then be on your way. Also, the person, even if it is a child, has got to be in attendance when applying for the passport despite having a picture already attached to the form. read more

Horrible customer service. Very rude, they make you feel like you're bothering them. They have passport service on Saturdays until 2pm. According to them, cut off for passport application is at 1pm, if you come at 1:10pm, they will not take you anymore. There's no sign that states so, the hours for passport are clearly shown as 10am - 2pm. So if the store closes at 4pm. they take the last customer at 3pm? These people do as they please.... read more

I called the Worth Post Office because I received an email telling me a package was delivered but I never got it. The guy on the phone determined that the package was delivered to a neighbor's house. Have been to many Post Offices in my area, this one actually is the best over-all. Employees who work here are helpfull, actually enjoy waiting on you. It is a bigger post office than the out-lying area Post Offices, but the wait is worth it, compared to Mt. Greenwood Post Office. Employees at Worth have great attitudes, will give you the time of day, greet you a good morning or afternoon, engage in small talk always willing to help, even sing on a given day as you approach the desk. If you can manage to travel a few more blocks to this Post Office and avoid Mt. Greenwood Post Office, do so, well worth the travel time. read more
