Thanks Warren USPS for your "care"

There isn't anyone to talk to at warren. If you look up the number for the warren location, it takes you to the national number that puts you through a huge loop. Wait time to talk to anyone was 36-57 minutes. We receive our mail usually around 7pm so maybe the mail person didn't see that this package was completely ripped open. Online you can't find anything relatable to damaged packages. I tried filing a claim, but the website is broken and the items you have to click on, doesn't work. The USPS is broken at best. Gladly the seller will send me replacements. And maybe some day USPS can hire competent people. I tolerate everyday someone waking across my landscaping and in my flower beds. I even except that they deliver mail that isn't mine and I have to give to my neighbor (quite regularly) I can't accept mail that looks like it got drop kicked. No one saw this package in this condition? Then again it was completely dark at 7:05 when arrived.

Most of the staff there are pleasant but there's this old lady who works there that's super loud and rude.

EVERY TIME I call for assistance, nobody is available. I have to work my way through their incompetent AI call center every other month regarding a new issue. Going in person isn't much better due to racist staff as others have already mentioned... My latest issue that's finally driven me to write out a review? Whoever delivered my mail broke our key and instead of reporting it, having my mail delivered directly, or literally any of the other smart options at their disposal, they just left the broken key in our mailbox. I can't access my mail and I'm driving myself ragged trying to get an agent (not the useless AI bot!) on the phone. I've called about 6-8 times by now with no luck. I've submitted a support request, scheduled callbacks, but haven't been able to get anyone on the phone. This is the worst service I've ever received from a post office.

She has a little business going through Poshmark, which means I take a lot of trips to the post office. I have tried other post offices in the area, but this is consistently the best. The Mount Clemens post office has been closed three times due to Covid already. It's closer to my house, but it's about 50-50 it will be a wasted trip. The chesterfield post office is generally good, but the dropbox in the lobby area is currently broken. This is how I drop off packages many times, so this is a problem, too. Besides everything being in working order, the business hours are extensive so you can get your packages scanned the same day. They are currently limiting five people in the main lobby at a time, but it moves reasonably quickly. The outer lobby area is very well equipped and well-maintained, with the ability to print your own postage as well as a fully functioning dropbox. Most crucially, packages you drop off in the 24 hour lobby after hours are generally scanned the next day. This is significantly better than most places are doing these days. And, despite the pressure of being in this line of work, everybody I have dealt with at the counter has been professional and friendly. I know my packages are in good hands when I bring them here.
