This resulted in more efficient shipping and even saved me a bit of money. Instead of sending multiple individual items to the same address, I was able to bundle some packages and send them faster and cheaper. While I was in store, there were customers coming to send packages, purchase money orders, and even some with passport appointments. These ladies were extremely kind. They exercised patience when customers had different issues and took their time to explain the solution. This visit made today's errand much smoother. Thanks again, ladies! When a week passed with no sign of that important piece of mail, I spoke to the Postmaster at the Hazel Park Post Office who said she agreed with me that this was a "VERY important issue." I also left a note for the carrier on the mail box array in my apartment building to pay attention because an important document addressed to me was misdelivered! Two days later, when the SS Admin mail had still not arrived, I spoke to the Hazel Park Postmaster again. This time, she was much less concerned. She told me to click the "did not receive" box in the Informed Delivery notification and follow the instructions. I did that. I also went to the USPS website and filled out a form there, as well. In addition, I phoned the SS Admin and explained that they needed to send another copy of the document they had sent earlier because the PO had misdelivered the first one. To date, I have still not received this important notification (or a copy thereof) from the Social Security Administration which should've arrived 19 days ago because the Hazel Park Post Office is run by an INCOMPETENT POSTMASTER who either can't, or won't, do her job! I'm old enough to remember when misdelivered mail was a rarity. Now misdelivery is commonplace! Today, I will see if I can phone the US Postmaster. If not, I will write a letter to him. I wonder if THAT will be delivered!

The Roseville post office, which I love, is apparently also becoming the favorite of other people…read more It's not unusual to go in there and see gigantic lines. That was the case today, so I decided to try a different post office. Fraser post office to the rescue! They are tiny, and out-of-the-way, which really helps in this particular case. And, the lady behind the counter could not have been more friendly. She had no problem scanning the 18 packages I brought in, and we had a nice conversation as she did so. I think I may have found a new favorite post office.
