They all (or most) make small talk with people who are kind enough to reciprocate. The drive thru drop off mail boxes outside are extremely convenient. These are for the lazies, or in a hurry, or possibly cold or rain. You never have to leave the comfort of your vehicle. However the drive thru at times is frustrating. Some patrons decide to address their mail or whatever and park in the drive thru lane vs having the mail already prepared for drop off. Unfortunately we are stuck in line behind them. But otherwise this is a clean, friendly Post Office and I appreciate them handing my mail on a timely basis with no issues. #Southside #EllisCounty

I've had 6 or more packages mysteriously go missing after arriving at this facility in a span of 6-9 months. I've made many trips up there to speak with the supervisor, he allegedly tracked them on a gps that showed they were being delivered but to no avail i never received them, so i had to go through the hassel of disputes with my bank and merchants to recup my money, meanwhile someone is enjoying free products. Well it happened again 9/17, tracking showed arrived at facility 7am, delayed but still in transit...today is 9/23 mind you i live 15-20 minutes from this post office, there is absolutely no reason it would take a week and still be in transit. So i call the facility and the phone just rings until it disconnects, i call the toll free number and at least they answer and offer to initiate a claim but it's fruitless as well, nothing ever comes from the claims. Unfortunately i will have to count this as a loss as well, and i agree with all the other negative reviews about this location. There seems to be no oversight, the environment is laxed, the customer service is poor, the ladies at the counters are always gossiping while a line of customers waiting for assistance and i also agree the packages are being stolen but who can prove it. It happens a lot of these facilities at the customers expense. I hope they shut this one down! Unfortunately i had to select a star in order to post but it would be a negative star for me.
