I've had good and bad experiences here. Generally, there are busy hours and busy months - December is not a good month to go. During the summer months, though, I've found the place to be pretty empty. Morning hours seem to be the slowest. The people working behind the counter are usually pretty nice, as far as government workers go. I don't know if it's just me, but I usually find it hard to get a smile from a USPS, DMV, courthouse, embassy. But thankfully, I haven't met a mean person here, though not necessarily friendly either. read more

In 2026 it's wild that you can't get a return label printed at usps. Even if there were a charge, I would gladly pay for it. Respectfully, you have printers behind the counter, so it's bewildering they don't have this processed set up / accessible. Totally bummed to go in, wait 15 minutes to speak to someone, only to be told I need to go back home, print my label and then come back. The woman was kind and I realize it's not the fault of those working there but SOS this needs an update please! read more

Omgosh..terrible service. There were 3 women in back and only one at a time would come out, shuffle around and go in the back. At no point fid they call for help..we all stood in line for over 45 minutes with no one appearing that opened a counter. People were all patient, but painfully ridiculous how inept the staff was at this location. Finally a worker comes out, no apology, sees the line now all the way to the po box section and calls no one else. One other worker came out after 2 people had finally been helped, and never got up and open. She complained about not being able to signin. Then a woman asked from the back of the line, about a passport and the only working staff stated she could come to the front of the line next. Please train these postal workers in computer-skills, efficiency, and how to work in a business based on lines moving. Do they not want their jobs? I never plan to stop at this post office again. read more

unbelievable, one person at the desk at 5 pm with fifteen people in line. Really. I continue to go there and the same thing is the norm. Heaven help us!! read more

I hate this post office's parking lot. During the day, it's fine, but come when people are getting off from work and it's a nightmare. Location is great in That it's close to where I work. I try to avoid going there after work though. But when I do go in, the staff always seem so miserable. Interacting with them myself has been pleasant overall though. There is only ever 1 staff person working the register. Sometimes 2 if you're lucky!! They will employ 2 people to work register during the holidays and get, still not helpful at all.its a nightmare during the holidays. read more

The photo for this post office is exactly right. You walk in and wait in line. Especially now in December. Every other business knows they need to staff up around the holidays, but it's business as usual here, the same three postal workers... the location is nice enough, updated interior, nice card and supply stands and once you get to a person they are nice enough. I just don't understand when there are 10 people standing in line, and open stations, why they don't have more seasonal workers... They do also seem vulnerable to the oddball request, where a customer has a one off problem. Then off to the back a worker goes and we are down to two or even one helping customers. Just seems like some basic, obvious process improvements would help them tremendously. read more

I was expecting a package delivered to my home on Tues. Received an e-mail Tuesday afternoon letting me know package could not be delivered because I was unavailable, although I was home during the day and my doorbell never rang. I called and was told it should've been left in my mailbox, and the driver would deliver it today, Weds. The package never arrived, so I called again and was told it would be delivered tomorrow. I requested it be sent over today, as it should have been delivered YESTERDAY and was told "that's not going to happen." I asked to speak to the manager, and was told the person I was speaking to was the supervisor. What a joke. read more

Seen better, used worse! Great location. But, the place is completely locked up during non business hours! All the other post offices in Milwaukee allow 24 hour access to the self serve kiosk. P.O. boxes & package drop box. Letter drop boxes, in the parking lot, are the only service available during non-business hours. Smaller location with a cramped parking lot expect congestion. Expect a queue for counter service. it's usually staffed with only 2 clerks. read more

How can you go wrong with the U.S. Post Office? Mail a package for under $5.00! Try that at UPS or FedEx! This location has great hours for us working stiffs. read more

Employees are rude and aggressive; this morning I got a reprimenda from one of them because when I placed on her desk my envelopes, she said they were not close enough to her hands. So she told me that next time I have to remember to place my mail closer to her. She spoke like I was a stupid child who deserved a lesson, that was definitely weird. I have been a customer for 20 years, but recently I started to notice strange attitudes in that postal office, I wonder if they are trying to push people to go to a different branch ? read more

Every time I come in here, there is a long line. Today, 15 people deep with one teller! It's August, 2:15pm- not Christmas, and a predictable service time. USPS- this branch needs management help if you want to continue being in business. read more
