First things first! This post office is so very close to my apartment, my workplace, and my…read moretherapist's clinic. A huge win-win in my opinion. I rarely have much of a wait, if any, whenever I visit this post office. The postal workers are quick to help, efficient, and helpful. Unfortunately, not generally the experience I've had at other regional post offices. A few years ago, I used their passport service and it was a breeze. Did not take as long as I thought it would. Easy to schedule without a long wait for my appointment. Highly recommend making this post office regular stop when needed. I certainly have! Sidenote: I love the aesthetic of this small, local post office. Thankfully, the charm and original look of the building has been kept.

I have to pay for a product I never received and according to tracking USPS you have possession of it. No other resolution? You lost it. You pay for it. I got to get some pictures, tie up some loose ends with a very helpful librarian, went on a little side quest to the the second floor in the business room where I found a few amazing books that were showcased. I love that they showcase books as looking through the isles is a little daunting. Using the online portals to sign out books for book check out is an amazing tool. Book drop off drive through is great, don't even have to get out of the car. Parking is by meter conveniently all around block. Lighthouse is so neat! The children's area librarians are incredibly sweet and knowledgeable, you see a lot of the same staff here which is also telling of an environment I feel. Inner city so it sometimes it attracts loitering, but overall it's well kept.

But obviously not all public libraries are the same. I've been meaning to visit this library since I moved to Milwauke, but I never made it happen. So, I was delighted that the Tosa Library was very close to my last errand of the day which happened to be in Wauwatosa. Such a lovely, sunlit space with creative and quirky art that refected this community. I roamed the teen, children's, and adult sections and was delighted to encounter helpful staff in each section.
