Had a little less favorable visits my last few times in here, with quite the wait, staff on their phones, and prices I didn't really expect. For instance, $2 for a single piece of tape so close a bag seems outrageous. So does the $25 price tag to ship something pretty small and light (that was their cheapest option). Also $1 for drop off of any already labeled package?? Haven't seen that anywhere else. This spot is so close to me it proves to be the most convenient, but I should probably do my dodillegence and compare prices at other places. In the end, packages leave here and get where they need to go. read more

I arrived to drop off a USPS package which costs $1. Okay, not a problem. When I arrived the shop was in disarray, overhead lights burned out, and the sales clerk at the desk was sorting through a stack of mail. I asked if I could drop a package off and she said yes but just continued to look through the mail. After 2-3 min I decided to leave, it didn't seem like I was getting anywhere. Not great first impression! read more

I've used pack n ship all over the midwest for shipping items of all size and fragility. I buy a lot of antiques (mostly kerosene lamps at the moment). This is the first time I've ever had an issue. Honestly, I understand things happen. But what I don't understand is having a lack of accountability and responsibility. When I received my shipment, I found that whomever had started packing my stuff must have not been finished packing them. I say this because there was a smaller box inside the main box that was open like it was thrown in there. that box would of be for the lamp to be packed in taped shut then placed into the bigger box with bubble wrap and other packing materials to keep it from freely moving around in the bigger box damaging other items. It only had a (5 and a half hours or 381 miles away) trip. By being in that smaller box it would also prevent it from damaging the other many items that were in the bigger box. All in which are over 100yrs old. Obviously, I'm bummed out the lamp didn't make it. when I emailed them I was told it was a mishandling issue on UPS not the way it was packed and that a claim would need to be filed with them. The outside of the box doesn't have as much as a scuff on it. Inside there was just those few scraps of bubble wrap on top. nothing else inside, no packing peanuts or air pillows to keep everything from being thrown around in the box. Let alone the shoes werent wrapped when i mentioned this i was met with " theyre not damagable items" I paid 207.74 50 DOLLARS LABOR AND 20 DOLLARS FOR TAPE ALONE ROD!! I am just mind blown this is what I got and then told it wasn't their fault. I've shipped these kinda lamps multiple times and other more fragile ones (slag glass and hurricane) and didn't pay anything close to what I did here. I didn't mind because I had used pack and ship plus a few other times (in different states) All these items are well over a 100yrs years old, and when I had originally message him about the items he assured me that they all would be wrapped/packed carefully ESPECIALLY THE LAMP!! the shades were wrapped but the base font needed to come off as i had said in previous emails, instead it was left on. I've emailed them all the photo's, I messaged UPS which did confirm it would not be considered mishandling on THEIR PART . Ive had to call and call with Rodney dodging my calls and having his employee tell me too bad here's 50 bucks. Then when he finally did call me I was told he would give me the 50 dollar refund or file the claim and going off on me that he was doing it outta his good graces. Like wow who talks to a customer like that especially when that customer has been more than polite and respectful towards you and your employee. I find it funny when I called to pay the lady said it was packed with extra love and care. This is your love and care?Shame on you. read more

Terrible experience! Was told I had to pay $1 for a mask or there would be no service for finger printing. However, no other customers or service reps were wearing a mask while packages were dropped off and tapped. Asked if I can come back quickly with other documents needed to complete employment verification, she said I needed to reschedule. Furthermore, I asked if there were no customers, if she would complete the screening upon return and she said she would be busy. From there I asked to speak with the owner and she told me she was the owner and I can reschedule. I will never recommend this place to anyone in the Northshore, it was blatant discrimination. read more

They charge $1 per package to drop off an already labeled fed ex package. I've never been charged before by anyplace ever. 2 stars because they weren't rude about it. read more

I agree with Kiki, Rodney is a GREAT guy! He absolutely knows about customer service. Listen guys, a guy needs to make a buck so I pay $1 whenever I have a prepaid package to ship because they have to take time to process it and I am thankful that they are right there in my village and provide such great customer service. Rodney has taken my husband to the airport on several occasions and is a very entrepreneurial guy trying to make a living. I applaud him. read more

This is one of my favorite places because the owner, Rodney, is a great guy! He can pack and ship anything you need to send, make copies, and provides other services as well or is a terrific resource for anything from Uber lifts to selling on EBay. Even if it costs an extra dollar, as according to the previous review, it's worth it to me because it is efficient, and I always leave with a smile on my face. read more

Pack & Ship in Bayside was WONDERFUL for a LiveScan. They were polite, helpful, friendly, offered me a free cold water and even opened the door for me on the way out. Very rare to find this level of customer service today and why supporting small businesses like this is so important! I will definitely be using them for any shipping or scan needs again in the future. read more

I went in on a Saturday to send a prepaid FedEx for work. Once the representative finally found a box and rung it up, I handed him my American Express. He shrugged and asked if I had something else. I started to hand him another card and saw the AMEX sticker on the window. I handed it back to him and told him to use it. He hesitantly did saying he will be yelled at. After signing the slip he proceeded to ask me if I wanted to ship the box too. "That will be $2.40 to ship it." Prepaid label? Absolutely. Well, needless to say I left and went elsewhere. Would not recommend using them. Go to their competitor in Mequon. read more

Can we give zero stars? DO NOT GO THERE! My mom and I had the worst experience ever there!! We had the owner ship some Antique China to Los Angeles and he assured us that he was the "best packer" in town so we paid him ALOT of money to ship and when it arrived one of the plates that was broken was NOT wrapped properly. It was wrapped in some market add newspaper. We paid him a lot of money to have it wrapped with professional shipping wrapping paper not some recycled newspaper. We got the insurance and he refused to reimburse us for the loss of the broken plate. The owner clearly has NO customer service skills. WE WILL NEVER GO BACK THERE AGAIN!!! Owner is very unprofessional and dishonest. read more

Went into the store to mail a prepaid envelope and a package. Completely overcharged me on the package and then added a dollar for a prepaid UPS envelope! When I asked the young man why it's so expensive he shrugged and took the money. I will not go back here. Feels like they are padding the shipping fees! Beware! read more

I will not go here again. I brought in a package in an official USPS package and was quoted 9$ more than it should have been at the post office. When I questioned it, I was told that the employee used a "coupon" and suddenly it was $5 cheaper. However, I shipped a package with 7 items to Denver. When it arrived, the package had silver duct tape on it that I had never put on and only 1 out of the 7 items were in the box. read more

FedEx calls this store an authorized shipping center. They will ask you if you've been there before and if you say no, they will charge to drop off a prepaid package. Scam since they already get paid by FedEx. Big sign stating they charge $1.00 for UPS - they don't get paid by UPS. Drop off your FedEx package at Walgreen's for free. read more

Agreed do not go here. Advertise business hours are 9 to 5. Sign says open but arrived at 3:15 with a little note on the door saying somebody would be back in an hour. Website says last pick up at 4 PM so you would miss that. The phone number on the door is actually a fax number. This is not a professional business. With this kind of behavior how could you trust them with your packages! read more
