The only one I'd ever been to before in Milwaukee apparently shut down, and we wanted to make a stop at GFS, so Clean Laundry was right nearby. We used the 6 load washer which cost $8.75 per load and brought our own detergent. They have a detergent vending machine, plus another vending machine that was only half stocked, and all that was in that one was bottled water. The machines use tokens, which you can buy with bills. The dryer was something like 20 minutes for $2.50. Other than people leaving dryer sheets strewn about the floor, the laundromat was pretty clean looking and only a few machines were out of order. We were in and out in about an hour with clean bedding.

We always do our laundry here & this is the third time we've come in & the bathroom is locked, the…read morewater fountain/bubbler isn't working & there's NO way to rinse our hands to get the soap & bleach off! Idk about you, but I've NEVER poured laundry soap from that push spout on the big containers, into the clear measuring cap & had my hands &/or the cup be completely soap free afterwards! I have ALWAYS needed to rinse the cap & my hands, not to mention sometimes soap sometimes runs down the side of the bottle. Apparently Clean Laundry doesn't care if their customers are able to wash their hands or use the restroom & there's a sign letting us know that it's only unlocked if there's someone working there. If you're not familiar, there's no "regular" workers. People who want to use the machines for free can do so, if they clean the place. I hardly ever see anyone there "working".

Well, lemme tell ya. +Parking. They have a full blown parking lot and I've never failed to secure a good spot. +Like many post offices (but not all!), they have the electronic postal station where you can do anything from mailing a package to purchasing stamps quickly and easily. +Friendly and efficient postal workers. If you do happen to need human help, their workers work quickly, keeping the line moving at a nice clip. Plus, they're friendly to boot! If you need stamps or are mailing some packages... ...get to it!
