It just terrible how they only have one clerk and people need to be waiting more than 30 min. I went early to leave early and I didn't. The clerk that handled my questions was awesome beautiful lady with tattoos I think on her arms. read more

United States Post Office - Useless - Post Offices Near Me - Chicago, Illinois

I am so disappointed with the service of my local Post Office. Let me back up, many years ago I decided to purchase a PO Box in the city of Cicero just to avoid this location and the workers. I knew we were going to close our PO Box because right now it's $99 for six months, worth it but expensive. So we did the prep told our postal carrier how to gain access to put the mail on the porch out of in climate weather. In late July my mail was left on the sidewalk right outside my gate, in the vacant lot next door to me and on my steps in the rain many times. In July 2022 I closed my PO Box and twice this week my mail was wherever the wind blew it. Now I've decided to purchase a mailbox with a lock let's see if they can get the letter mail in there. So sad read more

These clerks will be replaced very soon. Beware upon coming to this rundown circus. The managers here are incompetent and never know whats going on. And this station has a problem with packages going missing. most carriers don't deliver properly and mail is stuffed, thrown in places it don't belong whenever they have a chance. Use ups or fed ex for important stuff. And pay the extra dollar. it's worth it. read more

Yes. Only one person working. Send friendly but will go to the two start place on Ashland off it means not coming here. At least there I know they have two employees usually. Should have set a time to see how long I'm waiting. Also it's January 2022 and there's construction on Pulaski. read more

if I could give 0 stars I would. Horrible workers, lazy, and rude. It seems like they're forced to work there. If it's the closest I'd recommend to take a longer drive for better service. Never coming here again read more

If it's the Cicero post office it is the worst place ever I would rather drive further than to go there only one clerk on top of them having a horrible attitude read more

The most ghetto post office I ever been to. We were waiting in line and the lady was hidden and expected us to see her, never said a word like "I'll take you over here" none of that. She had an annoyed attitude as if she hates her life. Plus, theres no parking to be found. We had to park a block away just to go in here. read more

If there was a possibility to give no stars I would. I have waited on my debit card to come in the mail and got the notification that it was arriving late. That was about 5 days ago. It's still in this facility because that's what it says when I track my package. Before that, my wife sent me some alcohol, and it clearly said fragile, but most of the bottles where broken and some even MISSING. And I would not get reimbursed for it. I wish I could have my mail sent to a different post office. Because this post office makes me want to move to another zip code! read more

This post office location is awful I always get the wrong mail. My husband and I don't get mail like every 2 weeks when we be late a lot because the post office holds on to the mail. The carriers always be on the phone or listening to music so they can't here you when you yell and call them telling them they gave you the wrong mail this is the worst. They need a new team of people because the ones they have now are lazy and just don't care and my packages get lost or don't come when there suppose to just fed up literally. read more

I am not surprised with all these complaints regarding not getting their packages delivered although they can be home. i been having the same issues as well and someone is always home. I even bought a louder doorbell with 2 recievers!!!! Anytime i have a delivery from else where that is not USPS i always recieve my packages. They are lazy and rude at this post office! read more

This post off need new staff starting from Manager on down .The mail carriers must be taking the mail home ,and delivering the mail whenever they get ready . When you try to call to see if the mail coming ,after a week of no mail ,can't talk to the manager she either busy telling workers to take a message or no one answers the phone, to make matters even worse we gets our neighbors mail, because whenever the carrier decides to show up they're on the phone putting mail at wrong address, that's because poor management ,someone should be out checking on the carriers ! Think that's ridiculous go inside to buy a stamp your inline 15 mins that place a joke . read more

I feel very insulted by the mailwoman, who deliefers my mails. Her carrier rough number is 58. When I asked her, to close my mail box after she put mails into it, she started screaming at me, saying, that I do not care of her because of chicken pox all over the city. She was very rude without any professional ethics. Few times i stopped by at the post office asking to talk to the mailwoman to close my mail box. But nobody cares of this. I feel as more I complain , as worst service I get. She still delievers me not readable mails and paybills. Couple times I did not get my credit cards in mail. She keeps the mail box open, especially, when it is raining or snowing. I feel it is not about the low level of service, but it is about discrimination, and i will let know officials about situation at this post office. People like this mailwoman can not handle this position. A lot of good honest people are looking for jobs. Why the recruiters of the post office make such a bad selection. I serve people, trying to make my best and I want people to serve me the same way, when I need it. It's what I pay my taxes for. read more

I couldn't get a package that came from the United Kingdom delivered to my home. The explanations were "no access to delivery location & animal interference." After numerous attempts to get someone on the phone, I finally spoke to someone and ask them to hold my package for pickup. When I went to pickup the package, I explained the troubles I had experienced. I was told that a dog could be loose on the block and that could be a reason it wasn't delivered. I told the clerk that you can walk through my gate and up to the door and ring the functioning bell....so how is that no access? I said the person was just lazy and didn't want to deliver in the snow and cold. The clerk rudely responded, " No, that wasn't it." Never go to this location...poor customer service! read more

This place is very slow in line 15 mins for a stamp. The mail is another story just horrible service mail is delivered once a week if you go to this post office and try pick up your mail they claim it's no mail their its on the truck but no mail person bringing mail the management is a joke they all needs to be fired .Amazon needs to take over and would do a better job those mail carriers need someone to follow them and see what the hell going on ,they must be keeping mail on their trucks home ,because its not being delivered . read more

My cousin sent a package to me from California that was attempted to be delivered. I was not home at the time therefore a notice was left. Because I was due to be off the following day (Friday), I scheduled a redelivery. Surprise, no package. That following Monday I went to the post office and no one can find my package. I spoke with multiple people, made many phone calls, and the best response I could get was "Uhhhh, no. We didn't find your package." My question is what good is a tracking number when you lose our parcels? I was not assisted in a sufficient manner and am very upset with the level of so called "professionalism" I received. They could care less if you receive your mail or packages. I wish there was a way to leave a ZERO rating. read more

This is the WORST post office in the history of the post office. I mean it. Really. It does not get any worse than this place. The only reason I gave 2 stars is because when I had not received my mail for about a week and a half, I was able to speak with my ACTUAL mail carrier. On the phone. And, after I found out he had a broken ankle and some other government schmo who doesn't know me was NOT delivering my mail but somehow managed to dump 20 pounds of that stupid coupon flyer crap on my front doorstep instead of my mailbox. Then, today I went to the actual brick and mortar place to ship about 7 boxes. What a travesty. First, I got in a fight with a crackhead who thought because he only needed one stamp that he could cut in a line of 20 people who had been waiting 20 or more minutes. He called me a bitch for another 10 minutes until I told him he had one more time to call me a bitch and then I was really going to show him what a bitch was.... After that I finally get up to the window, and the worker takes all my boxes in but completely forgets to put the postage on one of my boxes so if I had not checked my receipt I would have never known and the box would not have been shipped. Avoid this place as you would avoid herpes. read more

I feel compelled now to call the number on the receipt and file a complaint! I sent my father-in-law to drop off a package for me. This is something he's never done but I assured him everything was paid for so he'd just drop it off and get a receipt. Well he asked the worker if that was all and the worker lashed out and said "DID I ASK YOU ANYTHING?" and he said "No but you have a real attitude!" And the worker said "Yeah I do!" I don't know where they got the idea of having a Sh!tty attitude is CUTE but it's not! read more

Not one or twice per month, seriously my mail gets misdiverend ONCE OR TWICE EACH WEEK! Each and every week I get my neighbors mail. The other cute thing my mail lady does is to leave the mailbox open, especially when it's raining. Her job is to walk around and talk on the phone. Basically, she pays no attention to what she's doing. The mail service here on the West side of Chicago is so pathetically bad. Maybe shutting down the Pulaski branch is the thing to do. read more

Poorly handled management and window tellers. Lazy and unmotivated. Went to pick up packages and the lazy workers and lazy management would not retrieve my packages. I had proof of residency with a bill and these lazy people still found a reason not to get it. They were near closing time and I'm positive they just didn't want to do the work. Horribly managed. All managers should be fired especially whomever was working today (5/10/2018) right before closing. Go back to training!! read more

I went to drop off a package that I was returning to Amazon and all I needed was to drop it off ,so I ask the cashier ,what was was I suppose to drop it off and she shouted that I needed to get in line with an out rage attitude. I said to her that I knew I needed to get in line but first I wanted to know if their was a box I could drop it before. Her anger was not necessary because I am a customer that hardly ever goes to a post office and this was not right. read more

Worst post office ever!! Don't waste your time, seriously. They need to shut down this branch and fire ALL the employees. All of the ladies that work in the office are so rude and arrogant. They treat people like they're stupid. They are also racist. They seem to treat the Hispanics more rude than the others. A bunch of smart mouths and careless ladies that have to get fired ASAP! The line is always super long! And it is frustrating having to wait literally 20-25 minutes only to deal with these rude and arrogant people. Also, I arranged an online pick up for a box with a paid shipping label and they never picked it up. NEVER. Worst part is, they even emailed me telling me that my package was picked up!! This could mean they're either ignorant, liars, bad at their jobs, or all of the above. For this post office to become better it either needs to completely shut down or fire ALL of the employees! It's better of shut down than what it is now. Not exaggerating. read more

Avoid this place if at all possible. If you do go, expect the following: Long lines with only one window open to serve everyone. You will see people walking around and standing in the background. Don't expect them to open a window to help with the rush. Sometimes, someone will open a window to take package pick-up slips. For package pick-up slips, expect an overzearlous adherence to the rules. If you bring a U.S. passport to verify who you are, they won't accept it if it doesn't have the mailing address on it. Even if you have a unique name. Even if you have multiple forms of ID. And you know how the package pick-up slips have a space at which you can sign to give permission for a third party to pick up a package? Forget about using this. They will laugh at you and assume you are trying to con them and refuse to hand over the package to whomever you designate as the person to pick it up. Want your first-class stamped letters and bills to reach their final destination? Don't mail it from this place. I dropped off two bills at a window, with stamps already on them. The woman took them from me. They never made it to their final destination. This is the first time in my entire life when multiple pieces of mail got lost. It tells me that they never made it out of the post office building. I filed a complaint with USPS. Management from this post office was supposed to call me to discuss it. Funny enough, I never received a call from them because it seems they do not care. Again, other post offices are vastly superior in their service and reliability. Avoid this post office like you would bed bugs. read more

It's been few times that I have stopped by to this location to dropped packages off and not one single representative is knowledgeable when clients are present, Today I stopped by and the representative was on her phone throughout my visit and left me waiting on still she was done on her cell phone. I lived in this area my whole life. This post office is the worst I have ever been to. Every single time I come here, and I try never to come here unless forced to pick up my packages here, I see and hear the front staff mistreat and sometimes verbally abuse customers due to race, demographic or age. Customer service skills are lacking, the staff here is not adequate to serve the surrounding community. This place was to be shutdown and i dont understand why its still operating with such horrible staff, they are rude and treat people like garbage just for coming to pick up their property. read more

Every time I come here the staff is rude. I try to go to other locations when I need something from the post office. Decided to go to this one because it was closer to me. The lady that works there (Joyce) behaves in an unprofessional manner. I don't want to explain the whole story but She expects people to know how the post office runs & expects people to know what forms to use. Not only was she rude to me she was rude to a Spanish speaking lady & her son for not knowing how to use a certified letter. This post office location (2302 S. Pulaski Rd) needs better helpful staff with way better customer service. read more

While this location does see it's fair share of characters, the many times I have shipped a package have been more than pleasant. On my last visit Ms. Griffin completely changed my perspective on my postal experiences...I was provided entertainment, engaging conversation, and endless wit, all whilst quickly processing my shipments. This location does not have self-serve kiosks, which I am accustomed to using, but the employees are more than accommodating. I gladly make the trek out to Otis Grant Collins USPS for my shipping needs! read more

Long lines. There is an old black lady with glasses that is very rude in a passive aggressive way. This is the ghetto so the employees are protected by plexiglass. I guess maybe this gives them an incentive to be rude? There is a parking lot there but only employees are supposed to use it. There really isn't much parking available on the street. Also this location serves my neighborhood and when I set up a priority mail pickup, they never do it. I've since switched to using pickup service from Fedex and they have never failed to pick up a package. Sometimes the mail ladies don't leave slips that I missed a package. Lazy public employees. read more

Fucking trash ass place. Was supposed to get 2 parcels on the 9th & apparently they couldn't reach us yet we were home all day waiting for it. We can hear when the trucks pass by and no one even rang our door & also they could literally leave the packages ? There's no where where it said it needed to be sign for or anything. They didn't even leave us a redelivery note so it seems they didn't even fucking bother to come. Next day, apparently they missed us again yet we were home again lol. Tried to enter in the QR SCAN for the redelivery and it wasn't even in the system yet ? Today we caught the USPS lady and she said she didn't have our package. Like just ducking tell us y'all just lazy as hell to drop it off & y'all want us to pick it up lol. If UPS was able to drop off their package for us the same days idk why it's so difficult with USPS. read more
