I had to do a last minute passport renewal and I had such great service here, I was really impressed. The space was huge and the employee that helped me was extremely friendly. I was completely clueless about the passport renewal process and the staff walked me through it (without making me feel dumb about it :)). Even when I had to wait in line for a while, I didn't mind because every customer left the building completely satisfied. The only reason I give it 4 stars is because they only had 2 staff members out, which slowed things down around the busy lunch hour when I was there.

I genuinely don't understand how this post office is run. I was supposed to receive my mailbox key…read moretwo weeks ago, and I still don't have it. On top of that, they made us fill out FOUR separate forms because they kept losing them just so our mail could be held at the post office instead of being delivered to our mailbox. Every time we go in, we're told they'll "talk to the supervisor," and somehow it gets messed up again. There's zero accountability, zero organization, and no sense of urgency. The staff seems completely incompetent and no one knows what's going on. To make it even worse, they don't answer the phone, so there's no way to get updates without going in person and dealing with the same issues over and over again. This has been beyond frustrating and honestly unacceptable. 0 stars if I could.

Very bad experience with trying to get my passport processed…read more Tried to schedule online and found an appointment several days in the future, on Saturday morning, and took it for both passport and photo. I arrived 10 minutes early for the appointment to find the place apparently closed. The lobby door was open, voices were coming from behind the door to the left, but the lights were off and door locked to the passport office. The door to the office was decorated with a variety of contradictory signs, which if you put them together would indicate that they take more lunches than a hobbit. Also, apparently they do not take passport photos even if they accept appointments for that service. Also, apparently they do not actually come in to provide services even after accepting appointments for this. While I was waiting and trying to figure out if I had made a mistake two other families came in, all with an appointment at the same location for passport services. We all stared at the darkened door. One couple knocked, resulting in the voices behind the closed door going quiet but no other response. If the facility is closed on Saturday (which is not the case from their posted times) then they should not accept appointments for that day. If something came up and the staff could not make it, why did they not call or text us?

I genuinely rarely leave a bad review anywhere but this one sat with me for a while…read more On May 15, I was notified that my package was "out for delivery". A little over an hour later I got another notification that it has been marked "returned to sender". I don't live in a gated community, there's no code required to enter anything, and my house is 20 years old so it's not like I'm in a new subdivision or anything. I got off work at 4 PM and went straight to the post office to see what happened. The lady at the desk had me write down my tracking number so she can see which carrier it's on. She informed me it hasn't arrived back at the post office yet, but they should be returning around 5 PM so she'll give me a call when they're back to come pick it up. At 5 PM I get a call from a woman named Patricia Armstrong. She said my package has arrived back at the post office and if I wanted to come pick it up from there then I have to pay a $16 fee. That's double what I paid for shipping originally. So I asked her why my package could not be delivered, and why is there an additional fee for having to use my own gas and vehicle to pick up a package that I already paid for shipping on? I was given no reasoning for their failure to deliver my package, and she said that's the redirection fee if I want to pick it up myself, otherwise they will return it back to sender and I can replace my order and have the new one redelivered. I'm still confused why my order wasn't delivered. I have double checked my address and everything on the order invoice and everything was correct.

If you have to label a package or get taping supplies or boxing supplies, you look like you are cutting the line and some of the people actually get angry thinking you're doing just that. The room is extremely small, so while you're trying to do the label, you're up against a bunch of other people. On my last visit, I just needed to drop a package in the mail - it was also stamped and labeled. There is no express package drop in the building.
