I mean no jail is a 4-5 star review in anybody's mind whether you, dear reader, end up here or have to visit someone who is being detained here... This facility is located next to the Baton Rouge Airport. Now my experience, as an attorney you smart ass readers, has been okay. I am allowed to visit my clients or potential clients any day of the week except Wednesday and weekends and as long as I follow the rules which is you bring only your ID I have experienced no issues... It's a bit of drag because the jailers move at their own speed and you are at their mercy for getting in to see a client or getting out once your done. So it ain't no such thing as quick visit. Now if you are visiting someone incarcerated then your only day to do that is Wednesday and I'm sure they may have different requirements for regular folks versus attorneys and one of my photos lists the rules that must be followed. But seriously ain't nobody heading into this place because they want to be here and hopefully you, dear reader, will not ever have to contemplate entering a facility such as this.

You have to live in Baton Rouge and bring your children's identification. The staff there were very nice to the families that came to he office. The assistance ages are for children up to the age of 12. The lobby was decorated with thank you cards from local Kindergarteners thanking the sheriffs for their service.

I need think this through Anyways, this is not a full TSA pre check location, which means shoes and jackets can stay on, but laptops must come out. There is also no seperate line for TSA and they hand out little identification placards for you to hold if you are TSA pre. Most times, I am in and out within 5 minutes. I hope they will upgrade to being a full TSA pre location soon and reduce my wait time anymore, untill then - it's all good ya'll!

It is available for rental to the public and me and my friends have booked track days out here several times over the past few years. It's cheap too and a good way to really learn the limits of your car. Even if you don't care what your car can do it does help to KNOW your car. After driving on a track a few times you will be able to handle anything that could happen while you are driving in real life. Could save your life and your loved ones life by becoming a more knowledgable and prepared driver. I'd recommend everyone with a license go get some friends together and rent the track on the weekend. I know you guys probably won't lol but it will be eye-opening if you did.

Unless you have time to waste, don't come here. I made an…read moreappointment so I could avoid the usual long lines at DMV. I showed up 10 minutes early for my appointment. I was so shocked to see a line out the door for people waiting to come in the DMV. They said the workers were at lunch until 1, yet everyone in the line had an appointment at 1pm. It was about 40 degrees outside and me and about 25 other people all sat there until they got back from lunch and slowly let one person in at a time. Once I got in there, things moved a little faster. Check in was easy. You show your appointment confirmation email and they send you to a cubicle number to sort out your information. That was all quick, but waiting to take the picture took about 25 minutes. The first 15 minutes of that time was spent waiting in line at the next cubicle desk for the girl to look my way and the line's way forming behind me. When she finally noticed us, there was about 4 or 5 people behind me. We took our pictures and waited for the ID to print. Thank God this doesn't have to be done but every 4-8 years because it's a hassle.

They have makerspaces here at this branch, sewing/embroidery , etching, and so many other things. I love to garden and I saw they even have seed swaps and classes from guest speakers. If you are looking or community the library and EBRPL system as a whole does a really good job at connecting others. It feels "old school" but def a cool space. Also the building is very nice and modern, so its totally a win win.
