My refrigerator stopped working while we were camping so I called United Repair and was able to speak directly with Randy and he squeezed me into the schedule for the very next day. I was actually able to fix my refrigerator so I cancelled him coming out to the house and spoke with one of his office personnel who was very friendly and understanding. Randy even checked in with me a couple days later just to be sure my fridge was still working. I was so impressed with the level of customer service I received and I wasn't even a paying customer yet. It was obvious from the start Randy just wanted to be sure I had a working fridge. It had been an incredibly stressful situation (not to mention extremely gross) when my fridge thawed everything out because we weren't home for a week. Just calling United Repair made my day a little better not to mention I really felt like they actually cared and emphasized with my situation, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this company and look forward to working with them in the future. read more

We had our washer stop working called Lowe's warranty to have it repaired and they sent this company out to fix it. I should have known what my experience was going to be like as soon as the vehicle pulled up. Two repair men pulled up, in the worst looking company vehicle I have ever seen. The two gentlemen looked like they just rolled out of bed, were not the friendliest. I explained to them what was going on with our washer and gave them the model number when I made the appointment. They did not have the parts on hand and it took them almost three weeks to get the part and reschedule the repair. I was out a clothes washer for almost 3 weeks. Come to find out we could've just ordered the part and swapped it out ourselves since it was exactly what we told them it was. Company vehicles and their employees represent the company so if they don't look presentable or act professional , then the company is probably not the greatest. read more

I stopped into United Repair for a repair or replacement part for a range hood. They suggested I come in the next day to talk to Randy who when I returned figured out the issue with my fan unit and repaired it on spot in a few minutes. Everyone there was nice and passed up the opportunity to sell me a new part. I will be back for any future appliance issues! read more

The service man came out, knew what dryer i had, I told them the issue was the belt or the motor. Surprise, it was the belt. They didn't have the part on hand after I told them the model number and the liklihood of the issue. 3 days out for the part. I took time out of work, went to Lowes, picked up the appropriate belt, did the work myself. They still charged me $100. If you can do the work, do so, because they won't make it convenient. read more

Update: just got a call at past 7pm on a Saturday night to tell me that they can't get a replacement grill and asking what I'd like them to do. He said "I'll try to get ahold of the warranty company and tell them." I'll be calling Fidelity on Tuesday to see if they called and what is going to happen. Update 2: got a call from Fidelity. Fidelity says that United Repair told them that they broke the grill to get the microwave down but it doesn't impact the functionality, so in their opinion I should t get a replacement. I'm obviously fighting it with Fidelity, but it's pretty obvious that Randy is trying to save the business he'd lose if I get a replacement rather than a repair. I don't even know what is going to happen with my stove at this point. What a nightmare! And apparently Randy doesn't care about Yelp reviews, or customer service. read more

I really wish I would have read the reviews regarding this company. However they were referred to me by a work colleague. Simply put the lock on my 4 year old washer broke. I called the company I purchased it from and they refused to come fix it. (That is a different review.) I have a home warranty so this should have been easy. When the repairman came to our home he was nice but was having a difficult time communicating. His English was very broken. He spent less than 5 minutes looking at the machine. I had already provided him with the codes it was throwing. He walked back into my living room and said, "You buy new washer" and left. I called the company the following day and was told they would call me back in 5 minutes. (Still waiting for that call!!) When I finally got ahold of someone who could answer what it would cost to fix my washer I was told I needed a new mother board and it would be about $400 for the Part and than labor. It actually would have cost me less to buy a new washer if I had gone with this company. I finally called the manufacturer and they sent someone out and fixed my washer it was the lock as I said before. This company would have replaced a part I didn't need charge me an outrageous amount of money and my washer still would not have been fixed. If all this was not enough I was just sent a statement for 90.00 to fix the lock on my washer from these people. Not even sure where to go from here. Oh my goodness these people. Got a call by some woman to schedule a repair of our washing machine and first off, she was the rudest thing. Then she says to me that I need to make sure I answer the repair guys call when he is on his way or he will not come. Then I was told we better make sure he is not disturbed because "he doesn't like to be disturbed". Then I was told he will not wear any shoe covers (rubber for traction or otherwise) because if liability reasons. It's a damn washing machine. It's my house. Forget it. Plenty of other repair people that will wear shoe covers in my shoeless house during a flipping pandemic. read more

They were assigned to do a warranty repair on our range. They said they would call within 24 hours. They did not. After 72 hours we called them to schedule an appointment. The woman said they can't get parts for our range, and that they were not coming to fix the range. My wife asked what we're supposed to do about our warranty. She was told "call somebody else". There is a parts store in Portland that sells parts for our particular range. Don't know why they can't get parts. It seemed as though we were an annoyance and they just didn't want to deal with our problem. The woman was rude, and then lied to the warranty company, saying my wife cussed at her over the phone. My washer refused to start this morning so I called United Repair, Miranda was so helpful, she told me several things to try so I hung up and did so. IT WORKED! She fixed my washer and didn't charge a penny. Next time I need repair I will certainly call them! read more

United Repair ordered 2 parts for my oven stating the parts would arrive in a week. Didn't hear from them for 3 weeks. I called them and they acted like they had no idea part hadn't come in and they would call the distributor. Called me back after they spoke to distributor and stated the part would take another 4 months (yes, 4 MONTHS). They did however say they could order it through another distributor but it would cost me $40 more and that would only take an additional month and a half. One part had arrived and when I went to cancel everything they told me I'd pay a restocking fee. I totally understand a part being back ordered, it is their customer service that sucks. I had to call them, they never reached out to me, they then expected my wait time to go from 1 week to 3 months while charging me $40 more than I'd already paid upfront. Horrible customer service, horrific communication. Will never call them again. read more

We had them come out for warranty repair work. It took them two weeks to check their email to see that we were approved to have the repair done it took another week to get the parts that came out and fix the machine only to have it not be fixed now they have to come back out and try to fix it again I would never recommend this company. Their customer service sucks the lady on the phone is rude and even the warranty place that we are going through for home warranty called and said the exact same thing their customer service is not the best the warranty service even filed a complaint with them as well read more

I've had two appointments with this company and both times, they never called to ask for directions and they were not going to let me know they were not coming. When I called to ask where my repair guy was at, they acted like it was a huge inconvenience that I ask although they have history of just not showing up or letting you know anything. I do not recommend this company for anybody whatsoever. Thank Jesus my apartment complex is switching repair people because these guys are unprofessional and unreliable.
