We had an excellent experience with Wise Choice. Our project was two bathroom remodels, quite…read moreextensive. The only issues we had were time and occasional communication problems. Wise Choice uses a platform for selecting materials and so forth that was great in theory, rather questionable in practice, and our wires got crossed more than a few times. The time issue was simply that the projects took a bit longer than we'd planned. The time problem though was at least partly our fault (changing our minds about design, etc), and that was compounded by suppliers actually sending the wrong product on occasion, so certainly not all a Wise Choice issue. Other than that, they were great to work with, very pleasant people all around, very conscientious (cleaning up work spaces thoroughly every day), and the entire project came in under budget! We will definitely reach out to them again for our next remodel.

We first learned about Wise Choice through Yelp, and although we were initially nervous about choosing a contractor for such a large job (they gave us the best estimate, by far!) without a personal recommendation, we couldn't be happier with our decision. They were great to work with throughout the entire process, from architectural and engineering plans, permitting, and the actual construction. The project manager, Sergiy, and foreman, Bogdan, were very honest, helpful, and responsive every step of the way. The project was completed pretty much on budget (with only a couple of unforeseen issues outside of their control) and on time. We love the results, and several people have commented that the addition looks like it should have been there all along. We can't recommend Wise Choice highly enough!

Not all of the boards were the same, and this was not something I noticed until I got home (1hr drive). Ironically, we actually liked the board that had been accidentally included in our order. I returned to the store and asked if we could simply exchange the boards we had purchased for the ones they had mistakenly given us. I was told that they would only exchange the boards that were originally purchased and that if I wanted the other boards, I would have to pay a 25% restocking fee. I reviewed the contract, and technically the employee was correct about the policy. However, I was shocked that the policy was applied this way when the original mix-up was caused by Lumber Liquidators. I ultimately paid the 25% restocking fee and decided I would purchase these baseboards elsewhere. This company shows little respect to thier customers and will not get any business from me.
