Get ready for a GREAT review…read more We purhased a full kitchen of appliances (large refrigerator, double oven, dishwasher, cooktop), a sizable delivery. We were in the midst of a total renovation: demo was done, walls coming apart, commercial equipment everywhere. Andrew and Chris Y were delivering. They told me they were coming in the morning and gave me a link I could use to track the truck. I could easily see where they were, then the first stop, and I was second. Very good tracking when you want to see what's happening. All the appliances were delivered perfectly. Andrew and Chris had a tricky path to navigate, and were super-professional in navigating walls, corners, hanging lights so nothing was touched. Frankly, having moved some stuff myself, I was amazed at how carefully and smoothly they moved these mountains of stuff. So yes, I can only give five stars here but my opinion is 10 on a scale of 1 to 5! If you get Andrew and Chris, you will get two experts who are super-careful about your home, know how to un-crate your valuable purchases, and get them where they need to go. THANK YOU ANDREW AND CHRIS!!

I cannot recommend this place. They have nice appliances, and the sales people are nice to deal…read morewith (hence 2 stars), however that is where it ends. These appliance places NEED to rely on RELIABLE third parties...like plumbers to connect your dishwashers, and warranty companies to take care of things if you get a lemon. The plumber they sent to install the fancy new high-end dishwasher 6 years ago, installed some hoses incorrectly which led to a flood in my kitchen, and our needing to pull up our floors from the kitchen all the way to the front door. Thankfully we have insurance (although after this claim our rates were hiked so high we had to switch). We should have learned the first time. We bought a top-of-the-line 4-door Frigidaire $3,500 fridge there 4 years ago. We've needed several small fixes in that time, but dealing with the warranty company has been HORRIFIC. Witbeck and Big Georges use "Centricity". Well, our fridge is now on the fritz after4 years (the freezer is no longer freezing and everything has melted), and ice-maker dripping, and as of yesterday there is a loud buzzing sound -- and we cannot get a call back to save our lives, even though they've "escalated" the situation. If I instead chose to call a local appliance company they would be here in 24 hours. We are going on 6 days, with no sign of service and no promises of anything! I am sick to my stomach. DO NOT BUY FROM HERE. THEY DO NOT STAND BEHIND THEIR PRODUCTS, and they will give you a POS warranty. Hey, Witbeck/Big George's...do better! And, Mark...don't bother with the damage control here. If you want to make it right you can contact your customers who have been through H3ll!!

The location for this review is Maumee Ohio…read more In summary: If you want to explore there is allot of products to see.......but Shop at your own risk if you want a peaceful and comfortable shopping experience. We plan to limit visits or eliminate visits in the future. (+) Wide selection of appliances including a luxury lit hen section. Also furniture, flooring and consumer electronics. You could refurnish a whole house with contents of the store. (+ -) Prices for some products are competitive but others higher. I have had positive experiences with Sales people here who appear to work on commission, where they engage to help if needed but then back away to give space to the customer to comfortable shop. (-) But recently I have really wanted to purchase and appliance from them but the sales experience was so aggressive and negative we removed them as an option for the purchase.

I moved to NW Ohio in 2018. Shortly after, I called the Appliance Center and their technician came…read moreand changed the compressor on my fridge. I was happy with that service. In 2021, I remodeled my kitchen and bought my kitchen from their Maumee location. This time, they kept changing delivery dates and caused long delays in my project. I was mad but tried to be understanding given the pandemic. In 2025, the touch panel of the microwave oven they had sold me stopped working. I called them and explained the problem. They sent out a technician whose diagnosis after two minutes was (and I quote directly) "Touch panel failure". Duh! He then spent about 10 minutes on his computer and told us the part was not showing available and that we had to get a new unit. He did not take the microwave oven out of the cabinet, did not check whether the power was plugged in, did not open the back plate and look inside. He did nothing but try to use the touch panel. They he charged us $128.22 and left. Since I was busy at the time and had the old microwave that I could use temporarily, I postponed fixing the issue. Last week, I removed the microwave from the cabinet, opened the backplate and (after reviewing the user manual and watching a bunch of DYI videos on YouTube) figured that the internal fuse was blown. So I called GE parts hotline and ordered a new fused directly from the brand. After replacing the blown fuse, the touch panel lit up and the microwave oven started working. What bothered me was the fact that the technician had no interest in finding the cause of the touch panel failure and moved too quickly to advising us to order a new oven through them. Having fixed the problem myself, I called them up and asked to speak to the service department manager. I tried to explain everything chronologically but the manager was impatient, cut me off multiple times, and defended the technician's actions. He basically shut me down. I called a second time yesterday, hoping to talk to someone who cares about the Appliance Center's image, like the owners of the business. I was again routed to the service department manager, who repeated his earlier response. Not only the technician didn't do their job right for the price we were charged, but the manager was indifferent and uninterested in the experience that I, as a loyal customer, was trying to share with them. They lost me as a customer forever. I hope those reading my review will exercise caution when calling the Appliance Center for repair services.

The sales representative was so helpful. He taught me how to use a ceramic top cover. I am used to a coil top range. 60+ years old, and i am still learning! The delivery guys were here 20 minutes early. The process of the removal of the old stove to the installation of the new one was flawless. They took the time to get it perfectly level! They even went over the different settings. If you need a new appliance, please give Frank Sales in Bowling Green, Ohio, a look. It's MUCH better than any box store. Personal service!

I went to Frank sales for a brand new washer, to have in my apartment. I spoke with the salesman…read moreand explained I needed the washer hooked up to my kitchen faucet. He did not find it a problem. However, he wanted to confirm whether it could be hooked up that way. An older blond lady with glasses said it could not be hooked up to the kitchen sink. It was not a portable washer, and therefore was not possible. She kept arguing this fact and kept persisting. I explained that I had previous hooked up a washer to another lady's sink at the ivywood apartments. I sent had to hook up my own washer as well. You can see the order for me to hook up my washer on the bill of sale. Neither the person at ivywood apartments, nor myself had any sort of problems with the washer. One last thing, the washer actually has a "cold tap " setting on it. You can see that in a picture posted.
