They also installed footing drain (French drain) on the back retaining wall, backfilled with the usual gravel, crushed stone and covered the outside of the walls with installed paneled stone veneer. They also did the initial former structure demolition, debris hauling and the requested earth moving and other necessary small retaining walls reassembly. It sounds like an easy simple job but, believe me, it got complicated quite soon. Along the construction way, I was able to interact with the crew and bounce ideas and corrections which were followed to my customer satisfaction, resulting in more than a very acceptable final product. When the inevitable, beyond his control, the one odd crew helper misbehavior occurred on the job, this contractor immediately corrected it, got on top of the problem and smoothly and quickly we had no more of an issue here. He also facilitated for me the customer to bring my own tile / stone wall-caps products and installer guys, which ended doing a beautiful job we're very proud of. Pricing fair, not inexpensive. Job done acceptable, with your own (the customer) continuous supervision and being able to stop working crew's irreparable mistakes before they happened, however, the final product came out well built and functional as we imagined and expected, we are grateful for that. Thanks again to Shafiaq and SK Concrete for accepting working on our small home project and for including us in their busy commercial and industrial schedule.

Highly recommend Felipe and his team!…read more I had a great experience working with Felipe on my concrete project. I had a LOT of questions before getting started because I wanted to understand all the details, and Felipe was very patient and took the time to answer everything and explain the different options. He also had some great ideas that helped improve the project while keeping it within my budget. The project was estimated at about 12 days, but his team finished in 8-9 days. I was really impressed with the attention to detail, quality of the work, and how smoothly everything went. The price was also very reasonable and stayed within my budget. There were a couple of minor things that came up afterward, which can happen with any construction project. I had some concrete film left on my vinyl deck and an issue with my gate latch after the concrete was completed. What I really appreciated was that Felipe took care of both issues. He came back and power washed the deck and fixed the gate latch. Overall, I'm very happy with the results and with Felipe and his team. Felipe was responsive, knowledgeable, patient with all my questions, and genuinely helpful throughout the project. I would definitely recommend them and would use them again for future projects.

I wish I could give a better review, since I really like Oswaldo - nice guy, easy to talk to…read more Unfortunately, the quality of work they did for us was not that great. We hired Minez Concrete to pour a brand new, 200ft long driveway with curbs - one of the final stages of a lengthy and painful custom home build process. I paid extra for a sand finish. Not too happy with the way it turned out . The slab is uneven and lumpy in a few areas, with some brush marks visible, and already cracked in a couple of spots. They also failed to properly mask our garage door before the pour and ruined the bottom two panels with concrete splatter, which had to be replaced (they did cover some of the replacement cost). After the slab fully cured, I asked Oswaldo to come back and pressure wash the driveway a few times, but he never showed up to finish the job properly, which was disappointing. Their pricing is reasonable, but three stars is about right, considering the quality.

It is a flagstone patio in which he poured a concrete slab, let it set, then came back and set large pieces of flagstone on top in mortar while considering and making the drainage perfect.
