beware of their bait&switch sales tactics. the initial contact was made by an individual at our door, offering a free water quality test. This free test turned out to be a full blown sales pitch... imagine that I have no idea if the unit we bought is actually doing what they claim it does. the install tech was friendly and professional and the payment terms are very reasonable. time will tell if we actually bought something worth owning I guess read more

We have had our UDI Water softener for 18 years. It continues to perform wonderfully. The yearly service is performed by Mark or Richard, two highly trained technicians and great guys. They both complete the filter changes and always clean up any water on the floor or shelf. I highly recommend UDI Water to anyone searching for a water softener . The equipment is great and so is the service. read more

Our Tech, Herman is very courteous and very knowledgeable. He was able to answer our questions, and address our concerns about the system! There is a disconnect between the home office and the field tech, wrt scheduling that I won't charge to the tech. He arrived 2-hrs earlier than the time arranged. But who can complain about that? Salt is a bit pricey at $14 a bag, other than that, UDI (and Herman) is a definite win! read more

Mark Silva just serviced our system. What a great job he did. Friendly and professional. Our UDI system is great. Pure water with great taste. Skin is better too. read more

I have two water systems from this company, one in my year round home and one in a vacation home, and I would not be without it. They installed the first one over 23 years ago and it's still going strong. The service is outstanding. When I'm traveling I can tell an immediately difference in the water quality. We wouldn't be without one. read more

I'm working with an elderly widower client to sell his home. UDI installed a water softener on his home in 2019 for which they ripped him off badly and I'm fairly confident he didn't understand what he was signing... They charged him almost 7K on bad financing for a system that with installation should have only cost 2K from a reputable company. His wife passed and he lost her portion of their SS income and now is forced to sell his home to avoid foreclosure and come to find out there is still a $3400 lien against his home after all these years. Run away from these people like your life depends on it. read more

Mark K and Anthony were extremely professional and accommodating to fit me in their extremely busy schedule. Helped fix a broken pipe and completed an annual service very effectively. Thank you guys so much! read more

Jessie is an amazing technician! we love our system and would refer UDI to anyone looking for a whole house system.

I had a United Hydro whole home filtration installed in my home in 2013; best decision I've ever made. While it was definitely an investment, it hasn't had to be replaced and I don't have to mess with filter changes. I've also got Jessie, one of the amazing technicians that services units. Jessie services the unit once a year and ensures I will have another year of clean, filtered water. Always look forward to our annual visits. Thanks for always performing excellent work Jessie! read more

very knowledgeable about the system. gave me tips on maintenance and care. very nice and professional!!

Highly recommend UDI's water purification reverse osmosis system. Installation was easy, on time and professional. And the water quality and taste are phenomenal. If you are looking for exceptionally clean and natural tasting water highly recommend purchasing a UDI system. One on the best investments I've made. read more

"What a great product and service! I used UDI Water to replace my drinking water filtration system and had a fantastic experience. Their installer was prompt, professional, and did a top-notch job. The overall cost was very competitive, and honestly, the water now tastes better than any filtered bottled water I've bought. Knowing the filters last for a whole year makes it even better. Best decision I have made in a long time!" read more

We love the whole house water system we purchased. We've had it for a couple years now and enjoy the benefit of not worrying about what's in our tap water when we fill up a cup or take our showers. We got our system serviced today and Jessie T was awesome. Very quick and knowledgeable about the work he does. read more

Stay away from these guys. First they hooked up a new system to the old plumbing, whether they broke the old connection during install, or neglected to see it needed replacement, it ruptured and flooded my garage causing damage. Although they fixed that problem a few days later, they have never responded to other problems I have. read more

This is a scam. They came to my house, literally banging on the door, at 9 am on a Saturday morning. Woke up the whole house, then tried to sell a service that was over priced with absolutely no results. Avoid when possible. read more

called for 2 weeks , kept getting 'let me call you back' every time the lady acted like it was the first time we talked . their name is clearly on the system w phone #.....yet she seemed confused about ownership ?? when she finally return my calls, there would be a $120.00 fee to tell me if is their equipment..? their equip is on the curb for junk man..can't tell you about prices, but the customer service is terrible.....Bernie Evans Georgia read more

Elliot installed my R/O system and did a wonderful job. He was very professional and courteous. Everything is working fine. Thanks UDI

We have had our system installed for about 3 months in a home that had no water softener. The difference is amazing. We are seeing hard water stains on appliances and toilets that are going away. Soaps lather so much better. I really can't imagine not having it. Additionally, we added an RO system that we use for all of our drinking water that is better than using bottled water. I highly recommend their system. read more

We can't believe we waited so long to have this system installed. The sales rep was not pushy and very enthusiastic and knowledgeable. We had all our questions answered and were treated as valuable customers. The installation team was professional and addressed all our concerns. I was browsing Yelp! at some home improvement sites when i noticed a new review about UDI, which prompted me to make sure I left a review of this company. 1.They are local to me, and 2. Because they truly deserve 5 stars! I have had my system for a couple of years now and i love it. Every single shower STILL has me feeling great, there is such a difference when using the system in our home; i like to think that if i can feel it on my skin and hair, that their is an added benefit of knowing that its going through the pipes/plumbing in my new home as well so none of that hard water the city pumps in is silently corroding my house. The RO water at the sink is now my go-to water, and not only does it make me feel fancy having one at the sink to show off, ( everyone that sees it wants one) but the water tastes great too. I was not a big water drinker before and I can honestly say that i have also experienced a pretty significant weight loss to due my increased water consumption (exercise too). i know i know they aren't a weight loss product, but they have honestly changed my life ! but wait there's more lol when i do the math (just now :) ) comparatively i would have spent like $2000 on bottled water in the last year. They have a great product ad everyone we interacted with were incredibly kind. read more

Summary of review details below: Please do not purchase this system without taking time to really consider it. If I could go back in time, I would not volunteer a water sample and I would not have allowed the sales rep into our home. The system has not worked for us as it was promised and we are not stuck with it because the company does not truly want 100% customer satisfaction. If they did, they would take it back when it does not work as promised. Details and reasons for review: After feeling as if we were tricked by the sales pitch, my husband and I decided to purchase the water system, being told it would help our washing machine and dishwasher run more efficiently with less soap. We felt very pressured by the sales rep into purchasing the system while my husband and I tried to discuss our decision (the sales rep continually interrupted our private conversation to repeat the same statistics over and over). We finally consented, being told that we could return the system, paying only a restock fee (no timeframe was given, leading us to believe there was no limit). We were also told that with the financing we chose, we would be given a 3 month payment-free "trial period" to "make sure the system is doing what we were told it would" (this is actually what the sales rep told us! Verbatim!). After install, we have not noticed any difference in our washing machine or dishwasher. I tried using less soap, as I was told would work, but neither my clothes more dishes came out clean. In the end, we are using the same amount as before, leading me to believe that the system is not performing as promised. After realizing that the system is not doing what we were told it would (only 10 days after signing the contract), and believing we had 3 months from install to declare this, we reached out to the company (left 2 voicemails), but were simply told "You cannot return it. We will not take it back." I researched their reviews on BBB and found someone mentioning a "second rescission period" but could find nothing that says that in the contract. We were never told 3 days and now we are stuck paying for a system that does not work as promised. They claim that customer satisfaction is their #1 priority, but it is not true. If it were, they would take back their system instead of weaseling their way out of keeping their promises. read more

We just had just moved into our brand new house and was looking for a home water system. The next day justin knocked on the door explained who he is and the company he works for. He made his presentation and made me see exactly what was in our drinking water. My husband and I purchased the unit. Let me tell you this is the BEST investment so far. You can taste how clean the water, clothes look brighter, skin feels clean. I suffer with eczema on my face.. my inflammation and redness has gone down. Would I recommend this to anyone?? Amazing system so far! Just had mine installed last week. Chuck had done an amazing demonstration on just how bad Florida water is. Now that I have their system installed all that has changed. Water tastes amazing! I Have noticed a huge change in my skin after showering! The water is a lot cleaner! Overall their system is a very good investment and worth every penny. Highly recommend their systems especially if your in Florida. read more

I would not recommend. At first we were happy. We thought we were getting a decent deal and got some "free" soap products as a bonus. The water was softer, but tastes salty unless you have the RO system under the sink. That system tastes great and I use it all of the time. However....... fast forward to a year later and the unit was not installed properly and we have had slow leaks in both the main system in the garage that has ruined the wall and saturated it causing mold from slow leak and slow leak under the sink from RO system that has ruined my cabinet. So now, we found out we over paid, don't have good tasting water unless it's from the RO system, and have property damage from not being properly installed. We like the soaps though, lol. read more
