Crystal River- My 91 year old father purchased a water treatment system from Leaf Home Water Solutions and was installed on 7/16/2025. The system was sold as a solution for odor in his well water. Immediately after installation the hot water developed a strong rotten-egg odor and discoloration that had not existed before. The system made the problem worse. There have been 3 tech visits. During the first visit the tech replaced water jets and increased the backwash schedule and although he stated something was wrong with the system, stated that he was not authorized to correct. Subsequent visits involved adjustments and reprogramming of the system but the odor and discoloration remain. The installation also caused the well pump to run excessively causing an average electric bill to go from $110 to $472. The electric company sent a tech to evaluate and determined that the well pump was pulling 35 amps. Because of this my 91 year old father has to turn the pump on and off to keep it from running constantly. We sent a certified letter requesting removal of the system and a full refund after numerous attempts of resolution and the company has ignored us and no longer returns phone calls. Previously my father had a "WaterBoss" system for 15 years that only needed replacing because of normal wear and tear. After now 8 months of unsuccessful attempts my father is requesting removal and a full refund. He is also following up with Sheriff's dept regarding elder fraud. read more

We had previously had Leaf Filter gutter covers installed. The company was great! When we needed help with our well water, rusty colored sinks,etc, we found that they have a department that sells water treatment equipment. We called, they came out and said they could add this tank to our system and that would take care of it. The installed it on October 3, 2025. It seemed to work well and we were so relieved. By early December the toilets and sinks and laundry were back to discoloration . The guy came out and said that wasn't intended to treat iron and the management wouldn't do anything to help us. He said it wouldn't do any good to get a lawyer because they have lawyers too. We had to pay the full $2300.00. We are older and our income is pretty fixed, so now we have bad water, and we had to use our tax refund to pay it off. They are liars, please research people you deal with. read more

I wish I can put Zero star. We called them for green water issue. They installed $8925 dollars systems that promised that it will fix the issue and did nothing the water is green and also they put you on almost $300 years annual fees. When I called they sent a guy told me the system is fine you need to shock the well. Why don't you tell me that before you installed $8925 system that will never solve the issue Scam Run and never fall for this scam of a company. I will file a lawsuit soon read more

I had there services years ago in my old to be address. Now I trusted them one more time to install in my new address, only this time I paid in full and now I'm having some issues. I've schedule with them to have someone in my new address that I still haven't move yet, to check why my water is taking so long to get hot. The pluming company from the construction said that might be some problem in the Home leaf instalation and to call them to check. I did that. It was schedule for March 11th between 12 and 14hs. At 14:34 I receive a txt message from Frank Gonzales, Installation Manager, in the area of Saint Cloud, FL, saying that was a problem couldn't have someone at my address as shedule. Unfortunatly, for him, sent this to a group of others clients, that also were told the same but for different times and excuses. After mins withuot answers, I pushed for a solution and Frank Gonzales confirmed that he would have someone at my address at 17:00 sharp. One more time I drove one hour to my new address and no show!!! I've txt him and no anwser I've called him and his voice box wa full and no message could be delivered. Them I've called 1-800-320-5497, to know what was happening, on there end, they told me that nothing was schedule, when I scalate more, I asked the 1st attendent what could be done, she told that she would an e-mail, but she doesn't have the phone of Frank Gonzales. When I inquire, why she didn't ask for my address, name and phone, she said she has that on her system, then I request her to confirm. She told me the wrong address. She just has the old one on the first installation, things aggraveted and she just said I was being disrespectful and hanged up. I've called again, and this time a man told me the same they don't have a file on someone going to my new address, I told me since you are recording our conversation I will record ours too, he said he didn't consent and I replyed I also didn't consent to be recorded for training purposes, he said he was sending an e-mail to the manager responsable for the installation and hanged up. So, now if anyone things of buying with The Leaf Home water System, think twice, because after you buy it, you won't have services, specially under warranty. Mr Frank Gonzales is an incompetent and I don't know how he got this position. I want a solution, not excuses. read more

Leaf will not sell you the filters and claims you need to have the system "sanitized " ! The salesman never explained any of this to me. When I had the system installed the installer showed me how to change the filters. He never explained that you can't buy the filters to replace them yourself. I have also had people tell me they charge you buy how nice your house is. Total Scam ! Does anyone know where I can get aftermarket filters ? They really get a Zero. We were sold a system that supposedly removed 100 percent of the calcium in our water. Cost was $7,200. After 3 months the calcium deposits have returned. Their solution was that the salesman sold us the wrong product for that issue and for another $1,875 we can get a water softener added. However, there is no proof that our main concern was the calcium deposits so since we signed the contract for the products that we received we have no case. That's total BS and bad business practices. DO NOT GET SCAMMED LIKE WE DID. read more

I installed this system because I wanted clean water. At first, the water was great. Six months later, the water started being yellow and smelly. I have contacted the company many times. They come and do a reset which I can do myself, but the water remains the same. When I put water in my pool I have to do as if I'm opening the pool again from months being closed because the water leaves a white residue. At first I thought it was normal pool algae, but I noticed that the same residue is inside my dishwasher. This is very frustrating dealing with this company. They always ask me if my system needs salt. But I always put salt. Another thing. The salt is dissolving way faster than before. Now turns out that my system has a bacteria but that shouldn't stop them from fixing it. This has been a nightmare. I also have to change all the hardware in my bathrooms because the water has stained it badly and have even made some black. And I would give it zero star but I don't have the option. read more

Do not go with them! They scam people out of thousands of dollars. The guy who came to do my water test and give me a quote, was racially profiling me before he even came to my home (he told me he was trying to figure out what nationality I was by my last name, and then continued with what I had in my driveway). Then, when my husband wasn't buying into his scam, he got a very bad attitude, and asked what nationality we were and when I told him, his response was "now that makes sense". He got so unprofessional and clearly upset when we wouldn't agree with him and sign right then and there on a water system. When I told him the $12k he quoted was way out of my budget he came down to $9k. and then continued to ask what I would be comfortable paying. If you can drop the price that much, you are definitely overcharging your clients. DO BETTER! read more

This company is outstanding until they get your payment, then you're a nobody. Thousands of dollars spent and then there's no sample taken to verify the product does what it's supposed to. Sales rep and installer said the water would be re-tested but they want to send someone out on a service call and charge a fee for this test. I'm sure you know that when anyone calls that number, they speak with a CSR, who is usually working from their home, and who will always "take a message" and state "I will have a manager call you back". Yet, no manager or concerned person ever calls that client back. Why is that Twig? Why is it that all the phones at Leaf Home only receive calls but canNOT make calls? Is this part of the business model? I've been trying to speak to a manager/supervisor for a week now and have placed numerous phone calls to that general number. Each time I call I'm told the same thing: "I'll take a message and a manager will call you back today". Guess what? I'm still waiting on that phone call. As I have written, the system hasn't worked as much as it has. We still owe over 4 grand for a faulty machine. If our 160-year-old home with a well cannot maintain this system, please take it back and refund. We are back to buying water to drink and cook. Leaf Home Water Solutions came into my home and said if I buy their $5,700 system they would take care of my bad tasting water, remove the white powder on the tray for the water spout in fringe, remove water spots, and I would no longer need a filter for my fringe. Water tastes worse after their system was installed - their solution - spend another $2,500 with us and we will take care of it. White powder still on fridge tray - I was told they can't take care of that - just keep wiping it off. Water Spots on shower door and making glasses look horrible - I was told they can't take care of that - squeegee your shower door and the spots on your glasses is the dishwashers fault Refrigerator filter - I need one now more than ever. I was sold a VERY expensive system, put a second mortgage on my home and have speed bumps of build up that can not be scrubbed off. Second, if working with a company that has good customer service is important to you, leaf home water will fail you when it matters. It took 9 days to get a call back from someone above a service center call rep AND a BBB complaint to actually get anything addressed. All in all, I'm going to turn off their water filter system, let it sit there and rot. Pay off the loan/second mortgage for a system I NEVER NEEDED IN THE FIRST PLACE! After his spiel about their system he gave us his "best price" of $6400 but it was a today only deal. When we told him no he became very rude and even told my husband "it's your funeral." This company can ruin you financially... Stay Away! First of all, pushy salesman that won't leave your house. They said there would be "white glove" installation but the installer left parts and pieces all over my garage. The 0% loan for 12 months is run by about the sleeziest loan sharks I have ever seen. You really need to be on top of it or you will be late. They will do anything in their power to make sure to let you know how to pay at the last second. They want you to be late so you pay 20% interest and put you under water. I thankfully was able to pay it on time. Look up the reviews for Service Finance Company LLC! YIKES! Lastly, my water bill tripled from last year. Somehow I'm using 7,000 gallons a month more?? Then the tech said that's normal and hung up on my wife! He said it is normal for your water use to go up 1.5 to 3.5 times! But he also says the regeneration only uses 100 gallons about once a week! What? Where is all this water going? DO NOT PURCHASE THIS UNLESS YOU WANT YOUR LANDSCAPING, YARD, AND DRIVEWAY RUINED! Leaf Home Water Solutions' sales representative, Craig Marin, sold us a City Water Softener System (as shown here) and the reverse osmosis filtration system for kitchen. This was promised to soften our city water as well as provide filtration for harmful minerals and impurities. We were told the system would drain outside the garage into the ground via 5-foot drain pipe installed into the ground. We were told that the waste water from the system would dispel into the ground 5 feet down and would not be a problem. This turned out not to be the case. Leaf has been called back to our property four times and the wastewater is still flowing across our driveway, pathway, and landscaping every couple of days. The last time they sent a manager, Nick LaBlanc, to fix the installation. He followed the same procedure and drove a 5-foot length of 1 inch PVC pipe into the ground and claimed the water would remain underground. It would create a reservoir underground and stay contained. This is still not the case. The corrosive salt is destroying our driveway and walkway pavers as well as killing our landscaping and grass. They have also damaged our garage wall by drilling three holes in order to install the system. On the second installation attempt, we requested a water test to see if or how our water had improved with this system. The installer did part of the tests but did not have the necessary equipment to complete all the test. We also purchased the reverse osmosis filtration system for the kitchen. We were told by Craig Marin, that it would fit neatly in the cabinet under the sink and they would run a line behind the base cabinets to hook up behind the refrigerator. Again, this did not turn out to be the case. The tank is much larger and completely fills the cabinet under the sink, and the installer had to drill holes through each of the base cabinets to get the line to the refrigerator. Now each of our base cabinets have holes and a water line running through them. The installer just left the lose lines there. I had to go out and purchase brackets to at least tack the lines against the cabinet walls to get the line somewhat out of the way. Also, now the water pressure from the dispenser on the refrigerator is about half what it used to be and Leaf told us we could purchase a special pump for $2,000 that will increase that water pressure. I spent hours of my personal time working on this issue and nothing is resolved. On May 20, 2023 I attempted to install a French drain, 5 feet down where the pipe was driven into the ground, but that has not been effective either. As of May 24, 2023, Leaf Home Water Solutions still has not been able to resolve this situation. This situation continues to be a source of STRESS and ANXIETY with no solution in sight. read more

Received a call following up from a convention we went to. Told them we were closing next month so we're ready to get the estimate so we can have everything lined up for when we close. Rushed to the new house after work to meet the guy and started having a great conversation about what I'm looking for, what my concerns are, what I like. Even text my husband (who was still on his way) that I really liked the guy and how informative he was being and was really excited to have his knowledge and help with the water testing and assessing what was important to us. Was told by the guy they've got some great pricing right now but he wanted to see if he could offer that to me since I want to schedule 30 days out. Comes back to say he's got bad news and the company policy is not to even talk to anyone who isn't an owner. Couldn't test our water or even talk to us any more but he'd be happy to come back out the day. I honestly thought he was joking. Nope, not joking. He's happy to come back out when we close and they're not scheduling far in advance. Big mistake if you're giving discounts because you're marketing person is gone to refuse to give someone you're already in front of a quote. Especially when that person lives in a new community and talks to lots of people and would send you lots of referral business while you don't have a head of marketing. Stay Away.. 1st install, installer did not know he was to build solid platform and assemble metallic shed. so NOT completed. 2nd visit after shed had been assembled by us, installer advised us that the metallic shed purchased was improper height. (shed was purchased based upon guidance of initial sales rep). so, 2nd visit, NOT complete yet. 3rd installation visit, installer needed to did 2 feet trench to contain water tanks, so we thought it was done at that point. BUT... found out, while checking warranty, that a UV decontamination system we purchased as a part of the total package, was NOT installed. So, we are now waiting for the 4th visit to complete installation, but prior to this, it was necessary for us to make numerous calls (to numerous to mention), leave numerous texts, etc. Up until today (1-9-24) NONE of our calls were answered, or texts replied to. (even texting-calling so called supervisors or regional managers). Also, our water still appears cloudy due to sediment which, according to initial sales rep, would ALL be taken care of. For each supposed installation, we had to make a trip from St. Augustine FL to Franklin, NC, an approx 8 1/2 hour drive. So, hopefully, the installers will show today although, based upon prior experiences noted above, I WILL BELIEVE IT WHEN I SEE IT. read more

I purchased a water softener and reverse osmosis drinking water system for my mother's house. She absolutely loves it! The install was quick and looks way better than the other systems I've seen. They do a remineralization filter after the RO system, so it adds minerals, raises the pH, and taste better than a normal RO system. It was also way less expensive than some of the big franchise water companies that are out there. I've purchased from other companies before for my home, but Leaf Home Water Solutions is the only water company I will be doing business with moving forward! read more

We had a new system installed about 2 months ago. The installers damaged my personal property during the installation. We also had a small leak in the system where it was not sealed correctly during the install, that luckily was discovered by a contractor that came out to our house for a bathroom remodel. I called the main number and reported this issue. They repaired the small leak. In terms of my damage, someone called me and they told me- and I quote- " I'm assuming it was the installers that damaged my property"- right in the vicinity of where they were working inside my garage; this was discovered the same evening we came home from work when the install was complete- when only my husband and I live in the home. They have made no effort to propose any resolution to my issue, and now have stopped returning any of my communication. I will update the review with additional information as it happens. read more

Our house is in St Aug Beach, and city water isn't great. Sure could not drink it. We had a system installed for the whole house and a separate one for drinking water July 2022. The drinking water is as good or better then the "best" bottled water. Showers are better and the soap really lathers. The water does leave a silky feel to your skin; not like a bad thing, but is noticeably different. Tip to save you some real cash$$... Get an estimate from Cxxxxxx or another competitor first. Then when Leaf comes to bid, you'll be ready to take advantage of the "close". read more

HELP!!! I purchased a leaf water solution system, and it has been one huge nightmare ever since. First after it was installed my garbage disposal didn't work, which meant I couldn't use my dishwasher and I couldn't run water down my sink, also the reverse osmosis faucet was put above my garbage disposal button, which meant I couldn't reach the garbage disposal it has a faucet over it. Now, if you're following along, you'll realize I can't use my sink. I can't use my garbage disposal I can't use my dishwasher. I have called this company numerous times to help me to the point to where I have asked them to remove the reverse osmosis system from My home. I am still buying water. I paid over $4000 for this system. And I can't even use it. I called the finance company to hold payment on the contract. I have called leaf home solutions to numerous times to count I have had promises made and not kept as far as phone calls go and it's just the most frustrating experience I have ever had with a company.
