I don't think my threader had much experience at all - I specifically told her I didn't want my brows to be too thin, and I asked her to soften the arches and keep the natural shape, and she did exactly the opposite! I left with brows that were extremely thin and uneven. The shape is so uneven that the top and bottom lines of each brow no longer follow their natural shape. After reading the reviews for this place I really hoped it would be my new go-to brow place but there's absolutely no chance I'd return. read more

I decided to check out this salon.... My girlfriend recommended this place. I had never done the threading. Only plucking and very rarely I might add,because I become an adult infant when it comes to pain. The threading is not painful whatsoever.... Better than waxing. My friend absolutely raved about the threading & Sugy. I decided to give it a shot & let me just say I was not disappointed. I did not wait longer than 5 minutes. I was so worried that my brows would end up looking unnatural or super thin. You know those girls you see with over tweezed eyebrows, the ones where they have to practically draw them on because they are so non existent? Umm ya, YIKES!!! Well.... I really had nothing to worry about, because Sugy did such a fantastic job. I will continue to go here and have Sugy maintain my brows. I was only going to do my brows & then decided to do my upper lip as well. I'm Italian and well you know.... Sometimes we have hair there and I have always been self conscious about it. I see women who really have it worse than I do and I do not understand how they don't take care of that situation. I wonder if they just get older & accept it. Ugh not me. I had always bleached my upper lip at home myself. But this is 10 times better. I love that I have no hair at all on my upper lip now..... I don't feel self conscious about it anymore and I will definitely maintain it. I love my eyebrows, it's still a nice full brow with a nice arch, not some crazy high cartoonish arch and not at all thin and needing a brow pencil to draw my brows on. Absolutely perfect! Service is quick, friendly, efficient, professional & a clean salon. You may need to take a day and have quite a bit of spare time, because Sugy takes her time & it is a bit time consuming. I am completely okay that she takes her time and takes pride in her work. I have heard that other threading salons sometimes cause little cuts on the skin. Most likely because they are trying to rush through. Not giving a thorough job and not taking their time. It's no fancy pants place, but who cares. She gets the job done. I will most definitely keep coming back...... Sugy definitely knows her trade and I highly recommend to all you yelpers out there. Go see Sugy, she will not let you down! I didn't mention the cost..... For my brows it was something like $6.99 and I believe $4.00 for my upper lip. I had never done the threading before.... Although, I have done waxing of my legs & the complete Brazilian wax. Hurt like hell, so I do not maintain all that often. The waxing are ridiculously overpriced, probably another reason why I do not maintain. So I was surprised that the price of the threading was this low, especially for the quality of work. I left feeling beautiful, just like you feel after leaving a salon with a fabulous hairstyle & I made sure I left Sugy a generous tip for her services... Don't forget the tip people! read more

If you want "fleeky" brows you have to come here get threaded. Very nice and thorough on achieving what you want with your brows. Nice and friendly service by the two ladies who are always there. This place is terrible. I went with Sugy since all the reviewers said to go. I came in with overgrown brows (wasn't able to go for a few months). Usually when you have the "clean canvas" overgrown brows, you walk out feeling fantastic. I was not too impressed but because it was near my house I decided to try a second time. The second time she balded me! I was shocked and said so when I saw the mirror and couldn't believe not only how thin but a terrible shape! I could have done better myself! She didn't apologize and said instead "oh you don't know what tweezed eyebrows are supposed to look like." Um, I have been getting them waxed since 1997 and I know how they should look! It is now a year later and I am STILL having to pencil in my brows after this fiasco! I wish my old waxer hadn't retired! :( read more

Honestly, in all the times I have come here it has never been a good experience. Each time I have gone they have over threaded my eyebrows, and I find that they hurt more here than at other places. Today I tried threading for the first time. My daughters told me about this place. They really like it and their eyebrows always look nice so I thought Why not? No customers were there so I got to sit right down and get started. I let the girl know that it was my first try with threading. She was very nice, leaned me back in the chair and told me it doesn't hurt too much. Okay I felt better hearing that. Buuuuuut, it DOES hurt lol. Especially on the eyelid area. Wow that hurt. More than waxing. The rest of the eyebrow area didn't feel that bad so hallelujah for that. Then she asked if I'd like the lip area. I said okay sure do it. Ouch!!!! You press your tongue to the inside of your lip area so she can work on it. Then she starts rolling the thread. Omg when it rolls close to your lips, that is so painful!!!! Tears started rolling down my cheeks lol. I was so happy when that part was over. The price was $12 for eyebrows and lip area. She gave me a "frequent flyer" card for when I come back. She told me that next time it won't hurt so much. My eyebrows look pretty good. I see a hair here or there that I might pluck, but it looks nice. A little thinner than I usually have my brows, but not bad. So maybe I'll go back. Not sure yet. Waxing is a little faster and sharper looking to me, but I'm glad I tried it. read more

I have gotten my eyebrows threaded here multiple times and they have done a phenomenal job. I'm constantly recommending this place to people because of their amazing work. But the last time I got my eyebrows done the outcome was terrible. My left eyebrow was thicker, longer, and way more uneven then the right, plus there was a ton of stray leftover hairs and I was beyond upset because this isn't like this place to mess up like this I had to go home and redo my eyebrows with tweezers which shouldn't have to happen when you get your eyebrows done read more

The ladies who work here are so great. I've been going here for a few months and they are always friendly and do a great job. A lot of times at other places I've been for eyebrow threading, I am disappointed half of the time but every time I've been here I'm always happy with how it turned out!
