I was very pleased with my experience here. I came early so it was empty - she was working on one person when I walked in and no one was waiting. When it was my turn she asked me how I liked my brows and I was very clear that I don't like thin brows so just to do a cleanup. This is always hit or miss which is why I'm very particular about threading salons. But she did a great job - I love my brows! When we were done she asked if I was a first-timer; when I said yes she offered me a flyer and told me her hours as well as the other services they provide. Eyebrow threading is $8, a little more expensive than the city but certainly a doable price. She was very nice and did a great job. I will definitely be coming back!

I went to my new spot today, after over 7 months of wearing bushy brows, resembling one of my fave GoT characters, Arya, who is played by Maysie Williams. Now, while I LOVE the show and adore the actor, I don't want my brows looking like two caterpillars crawled onto my face and died. Unfortunately, my brow tech was not available and I could wait no longer so I hightailed it to I Smail, knowing that I would get a decent threading done with which I'd be happy. I waited for a mere five minutes before she sat me in her chair and started on my brows. I asked for a tint since I'm going away on vacay and don't want to have to worry about sexing up my brows with makeup. I also asked for my upper lip to be waxed (no, I don't have a stache but getting the peach fuzz/baby fur removed makes makeup applications far more perfected). Afyer everything was said and done, the woman tells me it costs $32. I had to repeat the total because I was un utter disbelief. The brow threading, as stated on their menu only costs $8 and the lip wax had to be around $5 so I deduce that I paid a whopping $20 for a tinting? It's asuch a rip off to charge for henna like I was getting decorative henna on my arms. To make matter worse, she took her own tip, thinking I was giving her an $8 tip. If I had more time to waste, I would have stayed and questioned the charges but I have a baby at home and I'm her walking tap so, I was on borrowed time. After this experience, I tell you that I will never grace their threshold with my presence again. I'll just wait for my regular tech 5 minutes away on Gun Hill Rd. at Smile Beauty Salon where my brow and lip threading AND brow time cost only $16 dollars. Yes. HALF that price. I say, "Good day!" I should also include that my brows are definitely on point but like I said, I pay $16 for work that is just as good, if not better.

I really appreciated how she took her time to go over each part in detail and show me in the mirror what she was doing. She also evened out my brows since one had started growing higher than the other, making them look uneven! Since that first visit, I come by every 4-5 weeks for maintenance on my brows. It's generally a quick visit, maybe 15-20 minutes, and I leave feeling relaxed and refreshed. The salon itself is very nice. I was so very happy and made my way quickly for my 1pm Saturday afternoon appointment. The decor was lovely purple drapery that was warm and welcoming. I had chosen classic cat eye over the phone during my brief conversation, as this was my first time at any lash lounge. I was so very pleased just walking in! Clean and beautiful appearance with an array of items to keep the lashes lashing! I was called to a station quickly. I was made comfortable and the aesthetician went to work. To my amazement I fell asleep. Wow, I truly cannot believe I fell asleep! The procedure was that painless and professionally implemented! My eyes did not burn from. Bianca is an absolute sweetheart and does a great job Syl (sorry my spelling is bad) was the first one to do them, she promised to tell me when I needed a break and she did. They've been more then accommodating with my crazy schedule. And the woman who does eyebrow threading is the nicest woman ever and did a great job. Prices are good.
