There are great barbers in the Bronx but this shop was another level. Respectful, knowledgeable, and efficient. I told them everything I wanted - French crop, low skin fade, eyebrow line. This is the best barbershop out there. Don't look anywhere else. The experience is truly 5 star. Calitto took me in at the exact appointment time as promised. Spent as much time as needed to give the greatest cut and didn't compromise in any way. He even went outside to feed the parking meter when I told him that my original time might have elapsed. This is our first time here and it was recommended by a friend. They are so nice. It's small not much room but that is not a big deal when your getting quality work done. I've taken my grandson to some barbers that did not have the skills nor patience to deal with a toddler. The barber John was fantastic. He treated my grandson Gabriel like a king. Horrible place. Not our usual place, but we decided to try it for my son. My nanny took my son here and she specificially said not to buzz the top. She took my daugher to the bathroom and when she came back he had buzzed the whole head. My 6 year old looks like a skinhead now. read more

Absolute horrible experience. Been getting the same haircut for 5 years (skin fade on the sides and comb over on top) and I couldn't make it to my barber so I stopped in here. The guys there are nice but i was running late for work so I didn't check out the haircut and just rushed out. I get to work and realize that the barber faded my hair for about one inch on one side and about two inches on the other and then the rest is completely bald and the back of my head is also bald. Also the top of my head is completely crooked and the combover goes past the faded spot. Will never go again read more

Took my nephew to get a haircut before his birthday weekend and the barber made him look so fresh. My nephew usually freaks out at haircuts but he was totally calm throughout the haircut. Most arrogant group of barbers concentrated in one place. The customer is last in the eyes of these guys that overprice your haircut. When you walk into a barbershop and there isn't a listing for prices, you may want to think twice. 1) They want you to bow down because they are above average barbers 2) If a friend of the barber comes in they will easily skip you to take care of their friend. 3) As soon as you leave they talk about you. I left this place awhile ago. I now go to Big Al's Barbershop (he charges $15 compared to $25 without the hassle and a better job) with a handful of other guys that left this place. Other stories I've heard are: 1)Left at the chair halfway through a haircut while the barber has a meal. 2) Playing phone-tag with the barber that specifically says "call me". 3) asked to move a car while in the middle of a haircut to help someone they know park. I will say that Jon (bald head) is a decent guy. He won't let you leave the chair until he thinks he did a perfect job. read more

In and out in less than an hour and received one of the best fades I've ever had!! Thanks Hector!! Do not go here with young children! I blame my husband for leaving without having it fixed, but our 18 month old received the worst haircut I've ever seen. Completely uneven, shaggy, a complete mess. And they put a ton of product for some reason. The hair is still long over one ear and he has bangs. The worst money spent. read more

Don't get me started! This barbershop is where the art of creative, clean, and hip male hairstyling meets the science of NY trained and licensed barbers. On top of that, the place has the barbershop energy people look for and love. This is the kind of place where there's some chatter between the barbers and customers--laughs and good times--and where your barber doesn't just cut your hair: he's your stylist, relationship expert, popular culture guru, therapist, and a local celebrity that can point you in the right direction. This place is especially great because even though there's the cool energy, the owner is grown and mature so there's no riffraff. They've started offering some related services like dyes, facials, and manicures, as well, which is nice. Jocelyn is the cutest manicurist in all the land! She makes your nails and cuticles look mad nice! The barbers that have been there for a while generally work by appointment but walk-ins are welcome. You may have to wait but it's well worth it. Last, BIG-UP to Pablo, my barber extraordinaire. He's one of the best in the business. See him, but make an appointment to do so, and don't take mine--I get cut once a week because life is better when you stay fresh. read more

Waiting is a pain. Place is a good atmosphere , the barbers are polite , mannerful. It takes about 45 minutes to cut hair but is worth the wait , they do eyebrow lining up if you ask for a extra 3$ , price is a little too much , I got a fade from them recently and charged me 25 dollars although Im 16 and the fade for 13 and up is around 16$. read more

Best combover, side part I've gotten. Hector is one of the best barbers. He takes his time and is versatile with clippers/ scissors. I've tried barbers all over westchester, NYC and being Asian I've gotten my hair jacked up, skin cut up a bunch of times, but his clippers are the perfect setting. Finally found a spot in westchester that's even better than the city. Definitely recommend it. read more

I would give this place a 0 if I could. I called before walking in and was told they would have two people to cut their hair. Great, we get there 5 min later and only one female is available, ok. Then it took her 70 minutes to give my son the worse haircut he's ever had. She struggled so much and I could see at one point the owner trying to help her but it was too late. She cut his neck up completely and couldn't even make it even. His hair was visibly uneven. When I complained to the owner he kept saying he couldn't understand what I wanted. Because I guess having an even haircut is out of style? After complaining the women who cut my first sons hair decided not to cut my other sons hair and the owner was super chill making me wait until he was good and ready to fix my sons hair and cut the other one. I work 67 hours a week to pay $23 for a kids hair cut that takes over an hour to do and done so poorly!!! I will never return. read more
