Younger barber is fine, friendly. The older guy not sure what his problem is but it's usually common courtesy to greet paying customers to your store - either a smile or responding to a 'hello'. If you can't be bothered to extend basic courtesy I certainly can't be bothered to spend my hard earned cash with you. Wouldn't step foot in this barber again. Gramatan here I come. read more

I went to the Scarsdale location a few times to try it out. Easy to get an appointment and it was a quick cut, about 15m. Friendly staff. If you need anything other than a variant of a buzz cut it's probably not for you. I didn't find the barbers to be good with straight hair, with scissors. I had to go to another place two weeks later because it looked like a dull lawn mower went over my head. Granted, the place I went to was more expensive. This place is great for a quick cut but highly recommend an appointment. They were cutting a few young kids (ages 6-9) at the time, after school hours. They have a small bar and provide drinks for their patrons (alcoholic if you prefer). Great art work on the walls, a very upscale vibe, guaranteed to leave with a perfect cut. They also specialize in beard cuts, which is not something all shops do. read more

Edo is extremely talented and takes his time to ensure that you look flawless. He takes pride in his work and it shows. As for me, Ive been trying to be more adventuresome with my hair and he has very helpful explain and walking through different kinds of cuts and styles. He even goes out of his way to show me different styling we can do in the future. The shop is very clean and tightly. You usually have to make an appointment because the time slots are always taken, especially during the weekends. This isn't a problem because I can just schedule an appointment on their website, but I usually just call in a week in advance and get the appointment spot I need. read more

Edo did the haircut just right with the exact flavor I was looking for and added in a fantastic straight razor shave to clean up the beard. This was a horrible experience. I asked the barber for a trim and a hair cut, and explained I had that prom the next weekend. I have curly hair, and the man said alright and have me a mullet that was uneven on one side. Never get your hair cut at that place. They did me so wrong and charged 28$.
