I dropped by to get a quote for some preventative maintenance that I was getting done on my Honda Odyssey EXL minivan. I had printed out the things I wanted done mainly because I had just acquired the vehicle several months earlier and in reviewing its history of maintenance by the previous owners I saw there were some things that needed to be done that had never been done. So I made a list of having the timing belt replace the serpentine belt replace the water pump replaced the rollers and tensioners for both the serpentine belt and the timing belts replaced. So when I dropped in with the list they very nicely offered to give me the cost and contact me with the total. I explained to them that I was retired on social security so I really did need to know what the out the door amount would be for just having those specific things replaced. Not too long later that day I got a text as I had requested of the complete total out the door and it was quite reasonable. Anyway a few weeks later I made the appointment for the preventative maintenance just the week before when I was going to bring it by. The service was excellent and I will tell you one of the most wonderful things about this place is you step inside their repair facility and it's like stepping into the family owned repair garages that I knew when I was a kid and a young fellow. They are far and few between nowadays and it was wonderful to actually find this one. This one's definitely a keeper and I just wanted to share with all of you my positive experience and responsive and excellent quality work that they did on my vehicle.

*BEWARE HIRING AUTO SPECIALIST IGOR ZUBKO*…read more He charges a premium compared to other mobile mechanics, and the day i needed my starter replaced as soon as possible since i was stranded, i hired him as he was the only one available, and because he says he guarantees his work and offers warranty on his labor and parts (4.9* on yelp at the time of review). Not even 5 days later after he replaced my starter with a brand new one, it blew up along the 1 highway. Causing me to be stranded somewhere completely remote. There were warning signs, which i relayed to him immediately (starter started going off while driving and would only go away once the car was off on day 2), but this only happened 3 times briefly. However, we were met with zero response, and ignored phone calls everyday. I believed in his word, 4.9 stars on yelp that im convinced was fabricated. His guarantees and warranty is JUST words. There were no contracts or invoice, so theres absolutely no liability for him. He was 40 mins late on the agreed upon time, took 1.5 hours to "complete" the job, lied about his guarantees. On the other hand, Abdul from QUICKFIX, was absolutely phenomenal. He also costed a premium(but tow trucks and shops were quoting me 3x more since i was stuck on the 1), however he came EXACTLY on time, and only took 20 mins to fully replace the starter compared to the 1.5hrs igor took. I will update this review to change the high praise of abdul if my starter dies within the month, but at the moment i was very impressed. From his quick diagnosis also, he quotes igor made a obvious and terrible mistake that most mechanics would honestly only make if they worked on the car in complete darkness with no light; he worked on this at 2pm with not a single cloud in the sky. he installed it where the trigger wire was touching the hot wire as shown in the picture below with the blue triangle, indicating the failure of the part and this whole experience was due to INSTALL ERROR. It was a scary experience the car knocking and cranking even after the key was pulled out, and heavy smoke and smell of electrical fire coming from the hood, and not having the tools on hand in the car to detach the battery. All we could do was hurriedly take all of our valuables out of the car 20 feet away, call the police because of the potential fire, the knocking and screeching lasted about 10mins until the battery finally died. We are very lucky it didnt catch on fire, or worst caused the battery to completely fail and kill the brakes while we were on the highway 1 and rolled off a cliff. We had to cancel our 3 day camping trip and just go home because of this stressful situation. Anyways, youve been warned. If he was an honest mechanic, and addressed the issue immediately, this whole situation couldve been avoided entirely.

As someone who extensively reads through reviews and is selective about what services I pay for, I can absolutely 100% recommend Heavenly Auto Care. On the phone, I spoke with Hermes who is a genuinely nice, honest person and very knowledgeable and professional. I explained to him that I previously brought my car to the dealer due to getting a dashboard alert for a brake system malfunction. Per the dealer, I was told I needed to replace the master cyclinder and get a brake fluid flush. The dealer's quoted repair estimate was ~$1,746. They also recommended a few routine maintenance things (i.e., replacing the front/rear wipers and the cabin/engine air filters). If I were to have gone through the dealer, for parts and labor, it would've cost ~$307! Hermes took the time to explain to me in detail the possible causes for my car's brake issue (it was very interesting and informative) and the break down of the costs. The quote he gave me for the brakes was MORE THAN HALF the price of the price estimate I got from the dealer! Hermes took the time to look up my car, its specifications to get more accurate quotes for parts, etc.; and shared lots of helpful tips to save money on my car. He effectively communicated with me by calling and updating me about when to expect the ordered parts and when they had arrived at the shop. I also appreciated the flexibility allowed in me choosing when I could bring my car in. On the day of, Hermes was friendly, professional, very knowledgeable, and very helpful-- as I had experienced him on the phone. He explained everything very clearly, took the time to explain things so I was informed and aware (I learned a lot from him!), was transparent about pricing, and gave a bunch of helpful tips and advice. Last week, I finally stopped by for a quick quote, and unbeknownst to me, Hermes completely changed my perspective on what an honest mechanic experience could look like.
