I found UniQ laser center on Groupon. Upon calling to schedule my first appointment, the manager was very nice. I originally only wanted to do laser hair removal on my lips but she told me she would honor the Groupon price for multiple areas and so I added on half my legs and my arm pits. I'm so glad I did! Catch me summer 2023 being all hairless! But even now I'm already seeing results! I'm noticing less and less hair growth after each treatment. I got a Groupon to try laser hair removal at this location. I'm glad I didn't pay full price for treatment here. Some of the staff are actually friendly while others not so much. The worst thing is that the treatments are rushed so you'll have areas that are not treated. She is always helpful, offering suggestions on how to have a more pleasant experience, including tips for skin irritation and pain relievers. She is very conscious of her clients' experience and constantly checks on you during treatments to make sure things are bearable. The rest of the staff are friendly and flexible with scheduling. As a first timer getting laser hair removal, I was nervous. I am not the most outgoing girl especially when it comes to being naked in front of a complete stranger.. so.. it wasn't until about technician number FOUR (yeah every single visit I had somebody new, which wouldn't be a bad thing if they were all consistent. But they weren't) until I met Gina. The only thing stopping me from giving this place 0-1 stars would be because of her. She made me feel super comfortable, all while answering my questions and keeping me in the loop with everything. So you could imagine my frustration when she got transferred to a different location (Watertown) and I was never informed when asking about her. When I finally found out Gina was still with Uniq, I now make the 40 almost 60 minute drive to that location instead!! I paid $5000 cash for full body laser hair removal. They have poor management and can not keep employees. Over 7 girls saw me completely naked. I complained after my 5th treatment that I'm not getting results. Before that, I even referred a friend who paid $1500 for laser treatments. I am white with dark course hair, the perfect candidate for laser hair removal. This was the first place I went to for a consultation and was pressured to buy now because I was told that they are having a sale and by paying cash they would give me the best deal around. Three months into my treatment they posted posters for a laser hair removal package (same one I bought) for only $3200... I was ripped off. And every time I came in I would complain, they would take picture for documentation (even of my vagina) but didn't offer any help. They tried selling me more laser treatments... why would I buy more if 10 didn't work... they told me I may have some hormonal issues... I went to my physician to have blood work done he said there's nothing wrong with any of my levels that would affect my laser treatment results, I brought in the paperwork... they did nothing. I didn't know that their machines were old. I felt no pain. Friends of mine who went to other places did feel pain and saw results after 3 treatments. This place is a scam. Several of their employees have quit and told me it's because of poor management and work condition. The laser protective glasses they provide to patents are all cracked and broken. The technician I had for the majority of the sessions went extremely slow, increasing the pain associated with the procedure. Another technician squeezed me in and told me the session would be complimentary for my troubles. They burned my skin really bad in several points in the first vein laser treatment. I originally just wanted to buy laser for veins but I felt presure and I ended up buying 2 products. As a guy, I was very hesitant about taking the leap of faith and doing laser hair removal. I have been manscaping since college and really wanted to see if I could get rid of the hair for good. I had my initial consultation with Nickole, who went over everything with me and explained the procedure in detail. I filled out some paperwork and bought a package of 8 treatments. (they were able to offer me the same price as the Groupon) She gave me pre-treatment instructions and I came back a few days later for my first treatment. All I can say is the staff is very pleasant, the place is extremely clean, and Nickole made me really feel at ease and did an awesome job on my first treatment. People have been repetitively burnt or hurt / mistreated. State labor of Mass should investigate their very questionable business practices & so should the State Attorney... She seemed like she did not care for my actions and wanted to push this session as quickly as possible and have me out. This is only less than 5 mins in. I was looking for someone local to do BOTOX. I went to UNIQ Laser in Canton after meeting someone who worked there. I had a consult with a nurse, who I was told, worked for a well known plastic surgeon. At my appt. for BOTOX, I found out that the nurse who was doing the injections no longer worked for the plastic surgeon. I was charged $150. more than what I have been paying for the past ten years to a nurse whom I had been seeing, who moved away. Over the two weeks after being injected I couldn't help but notice that it didn't even look like I had any BOTOX. I went back in to meet with the nurse who upon my arrival said, "Oh my goodness, it didn't work at all!" She then proceeds to tell me that maybe BOTOX no longer works for me (WRONG) and then injected me again with even more BOTOX than she said she used the first time. She apologized when she absolutely injected into a vein! OUCH (I would up black and blue on my face, it was the size of an orange, and in all the years I have done BOTOX, something like this has never happened.) So getting back to after she injected me, she then tells me that I am going to be charged again, even though it didn't work the first time. SERIOUSLY, I was not happy with this. So the spa manager came in and said that she would have to call the owner. She came back in and asked if I would pay COST for the BOTOX. I said, "NO, It didn't work the first time and that is why I am back. Why should I pay twice? " I left and woke up the next morning with a HUGE bruise on the side of my face. You can not hide a black & blue mark with make up. I had a horrible ten days while my face continued to heal. It was embarrassing. Sadly I will not go back to this spa. I appreciate that they did not insist that I PAY TWICE. The fee they charged is a small fortune and I can get better service and results for less money elsewhere. read more

I am a 57 y.o. woman. I did ultherapy in January 2018. 8 months later no improvement in my skin at all. I paid $1875 for my lower face....I wasted my money. The procedure was extremely painful. It felt like someone was punching me in the jaw...the pain was bone deep. They had told me I would only experience some redness.
