BEWARE My friend had brunch there on Sunday, and now he has fraudulent charges on his credit card. We'll never go again.

You need luck? You need liquor?…read moreCandy"s dandy, but Lucky Liquor"s quicker!!! And more cool!!! Real cool, but not for the average hipster who doesn't yet know who they are. This is a real punk rock bar, with real punk rock line ups and real punk rock pit dancing and pinball and black velvet paintings and stiff drinks and great staff and great bar food, including Wednesday night prime rib (call in your reservation) and a movie, followed by a midweek punk gig! All ages too on the "young punks" side of the line. Lucky Liquor is worth coming out for! Love! Love! Love! Lucky Liquor!!!

After being told we were not allowed to even roll a spliff on the patio, we were then asked to leave. We went across the alley to where other folks seemed to be congregating and hung out just fine until almost everyone else had left--we were approached by someone who yelled at us at full volume and told us we were retards, and that they were going to call the cops on us if we didn't leave immediately. This was at 9:00pm. If you wanna take a chance at this place, go for it, for me and all my "hoodlum friends and family" we will NEVER be returning.

Really great southern food! I was by the airport and rarely ever come this direction but heard…read moreabout Jude's from a friend and decided to drop by. We walked in around 5pm on a Sunday night and was greeted by a very friendly waiter who offered us a few choices to sit. We ordered the gumbo, the grits plate w blackened catfish, and an eggplant dip appetizer. I'm from the south and didn't know seattle had southern food like this! The ambience was great and food absolutely delicious. Would definitely come again!

Great Cajun food with serious New Orleans vibes…read more Jude's is a great little Cajun spot that really delivers on the food. My wife had the po' boy, and it compared surprisingly well to a true New Orleans-style sandwich--definitely one of the highlights of the meal. Everything we tried was flavorful and well prepared. The ambiance is very Seattle, in the best possible way: casual, eclectic, and perfectly suited to its Rainier Beach Old Town location. The neighborhood can feel a little sketchy, but honestly, that's part of the setting and fits the vibe of the place, so I wouldn't hold that against Jude's. Service was good overall, although it was a little slow considering how small the restaurant is. Still, the food and atmosphere more than made up for it. Definitely worth checking out if you're looking for some solid Cajun food with a distinctly Seattle personality.

Since the parking space is quite tight, we decided to park outside and walk in. They don't take reservations, so we walked in and were greeted by a long line! That's when I knew we found a gem, and my expectations instantly went up. After waiting about 20 minutes, we made it to the counter. When I asked the staff what a first-timer should get, they recommended the Chicken & Waffles. We ordered that, along with a mushroom omelet, chicken salad, and a side of pancakes. It had been over a decade since I last ordered Chicken & Waffles, and wow--the chicken here was incredible! No gamey flavor at all, perfectly crispy on the outside, and paired with a wonderfully chewy waffle. The maple syrup wasn't overly sweet, tied everything together beautifully. Our group was thrilled with the rest of the order, too. The salad was a big hit, and the mushroom omelet was fantastic. But the real star was the pancake--it had an amazing chewy texture with a subtle, delicious sourdough tang. Now I completely understand why this place gets so busy in the morning. The overall vibe was lovely, complete with a beautiful view of the lake in the distance. The service was laid-back and casual, fitting the warm, relaxed atmosphere. Paired with great weather, it was the perfect backdrop for catching up and having endless chats with wonderful friends. Truly a memorable morning!

The service is super fast and they are very sweet, you get to choose where you'd like to sit and they give you a beeper when everything is done. The food was fantastic! I love how everything tasted nothing really overpowered anything. Honestly, it was just right. I'll definitely come again to try out other foods. Definitely come here as early as possible since it gets packed fairly easily and parking seems to be limited.
