Beef Curry and sides

This was my first time trying out Kenyan food and this was such a good experience. Loved the menu, I was surprised that Kenyan food has so much Indian influence. Samosa, roti, chapati just sounded super familiar. I went for fried Tilapia and it was delicious. I don't have the necessary skills to eat the fish cleanly but I still enjoyed the meal. The green that came with it was also superb. This was my first time trying corn based ugali. Unique experience. Highly recommended place to expand your flavour profile. The service was super nice. The ambience was more average. The ambience is the only reason I couldn't give this a solid 5. But it's definitely 4.5.

Food: Ordered Samaki Kaanga (Dry Fish) - The fish was well cooked and well seasoned. It was crispy and moist. Came with a side of chapati (and asked for gravy on the side), this was delicious. The slightly chewy texture and dipped in the gravy was such a great combo. Ordered Nyama Kaange (Beef stew) - it was moist, the meat was a little chewy and tough to chew, however the flavor of the stew helped. Service: They were friendly and our dishes came out in a reasonable time. Ambiance: It was bright and open. Overrall, it was a great experience as a first timer trying Kenya Food for the first time.

Went in on a Sunday evening, which was quite busy. Finding seats despite the peak hours was easy, and a server was available in real good time. Starters were brought not much longer after we ordered, but the main course took a wee bit too long. Staff was quite friendly, they seemed understaffed as well. Food was absolutely delicious, despite the long wait time. Was advised to call ahead of coming to get your order started especially during busier times.

This place is awesome, the ambiance is really good on a Sunday brunch. Service was excellent to say the least, our server Purity was the best. It all gave me a very nostalgic experience. I ordered and had the chance to eat my favorite meal from back home and it didn't disappoint. Well done, 5 stars well deserved.

Food was delicious but service sucked. Girl at front counter was not friendly at all and made me feel like I had no business being there

Great food. The collard greens are the best I've ever had. Too bad the service was really slow even when there was barely any customers.

We came by after happy hour at Anthony's and listened to a live set of great music. The place was packed, but everyone is friendly and was willing to share their table with us. We had a great time and I strongly recommend coming by the Quarterdeck to chill and listen to live music. Can't believe it took me 20 years of living in Seattle to find this place. So, don't repeat my mistake.

Quarterdeck is what I like to call a "come for the vibes, stay for the drinks, eat... somewhere…read moreelse" kind of place. I stopped by while visiting Seattle and while the food situation was a bit chaotic (they had rotating menus because they were out of a few items), I ended up ordering a kimchi-inspired sandwich that I wanted to love...but it just didn't do it for me. Not inedible, maybe a 2/5, but I'd definitely try something else next time. My friend ordered what I think was the Garden Harvest Wrap (a staple on the menu), and that was more of a 3/5. Both dishes were served cold (intentionally), which I think made a difference, I could totally see them being much better if they were warm. Now let's talk about what is worth it: the mimosa flight. SO good. Like dangerously easy to sit there, sip through all of them, and forget any minor food disappointments. But honestly, the real star here is the ambiance. You're right on the water with the most effortless, breezy, coastal energy. Boats drifting by, sun hitting just right, people lingering over drinks--it's giving main character energy in the best way. I found myself wanting to stay way longer than planned and even doing some work while there. This is absolutely a spot I'd come back to, just with a strategy: eat before or after, and come here to sip, sit by the water, and take a little walk on the dock. 5 stars for the vibes alone

Upon entry, there was a gentleman that greeted hello from a distance and saw me taking pictures of the place. I did respond that I was taking quick pictures and he responded with ok. I was done within a minute. He seemed to have disappeared and didn't return at all. This I found to be strange. It was almost five minutes. I flagged another female employee and whilst she was approaching me. The initial gentleman appeared and asked if I wanted to be seated in the bar or the dining area opposite the bar. I advised that dining in the bar section was sufficient. I sat at one of the dining tables. The previous restaurant was Shari's. They did an excellent job in renovating. The decor is appealing and cozy. The left section of the restaurant is the bar side with a few dining tables. The right section is the main dining area. I was greeted by a female bartender-Lyndsey. She was nice, welcoming and great. I ordered the Crispy Basil Chicken garlic $22.95. This was delicious! I also ordered a fresh roll for $10 happy hour price. It was delicious. Honestly, it's pricey for a single roll. For my beverage, I had a hot Jasmine tea as I was slightly cold. I wanted to order Thai tea initially. I'll have to come back and try it. I attempted to order the mango sticky rice, however, was advised it was not in season and could not be served. I'll be back to try other food items on the menu.
