Another person in our party had the sausage sandwich with green peppers and onions. He asked for his sausage burnt. I always tell him he shouldn't do that because places never burn it enough. Which was the same in this case. Other than that he said the sandwich was served hot and the taste was good. The other person in our party had the fried cheese ravioli. She said they were pretty decent. The service was ok. They only had one person working the dining room. I grabbed our own menus and silverware. The women's bathroom was gross. They need air fresheners in there.

I have been in the buisness for over 25 yrs and trust me when I say they need to train their staff. After friends joined me we decided to sit at a high top by the bar and proceeded to wait another 5 or 6 min. To get menus. Server was inattentive and food was sub par at best I ordered a burger with fries hmm bow can you screw that up well ,temp was wrong, topping light, fries were well let's just say I got 14 of them seriously cost of a potato is cheap give your guest some fries please... customers at bar were drunk, rude, and kept eye balling my girlfriend. Not an atmosphere that I would want to come to. Made her very uncomfortable . $$$ drinks and beer was $$$ too. Remember You are in Barto pa. Not in the city. If you want to be successful look at your demographics. Look at average income per house hold in area. GOOD LUCK if you can't get a burger right and you can't train your staff to be attentive and stay off the cell phones. Than you need to rethink why you are in buisness .

I read the other reviews and felt the need to add one. 1. Staff seemed nice did we become best if friends.....no I dont go to bars to become friends. And nor would I think it's wrong they are on their phones. 2. Your in Barto. It's a red neck town that reminds me of breaking bad. Do u think your gonna get a bar like atmosphere like you would in a big city or even more populated town. I'm just impress it's not a drug bar like there was in my small town. So 5 stars there. 3. If I wasnt paid I wouldnt work at a place. I read somewhere they dont pay the staff. Ok. They rent rooms above . Ever think they live there rent free. That's payment .or idk they really are getting a paycheck. 4. Cant stress it's under new ownership there will be bumps. It was pretty busy when I was there I was actually impressed being a random bar like this.

Menu is pretty big and we both decided on the Our House signature sandwiches. One was the roast beef and other grilled chicken. Both amazing. Fries were the double fried variety so super crunchy. Chips were from a bag. Piping hot and delicious. Very reasonable pricing and the place was very clean. Packed with Birds fans by the time we were leaving. What a fun place to be with very friendly and welcoming regulars. Recommend!
