I think her prices are fair given her value of work. I've gone places much more expensive before and been unhappy with the outcome and had to wait nearly double the time to get my items back. She spends adequate time with you making sure it's pinned up just the way you're wanting it done and pays attention to detail.

Today however, saw a sign "back in 15" so came back 49 min later. Sign still up. Saw the lady inside so knocked. She took my clothes but wouldn't allow me to pick up. Says she can't because she's out to lunch. It literally takes a couple minutes to get the clothes and run the credit card but said I had to wait another 30 minutes or come back for a 3rd time. She had time to take my clothes (new business) but was out to lunch to give me clothes I needed for work. I will have to travel another couple of miles to another dry cleaner but happy to do so as that was the last straw and my last visit after I get my clothes back. I brought in 2 casual style maxi dresses for alternation. This place advertises to do professional alterations, like wedding dresses, so I figured my dresses should be in good hands. One dress, polyester-cotton blend, needed to be hemmed up 3" for the length and both side slits. The other dress, cotton-stretch blend, only needed the front slit hemmed up 2" (I was lucky enough to shrink it so I didn't need the length to be hemmed, short people problem). The hem job was very sloppy. There were open/unfinished hems and leftover threads hanging (can't even trim off hanging threads, seriously? What does that say about your work ethics?). Lastly, they couldn't even alter the cotton-stretch blend dress. They claimed that it would mess up the dress. Compared to my old cleaners, this place definitely doesn't compare. There are no courtesy calls to let you know if your garments are ready earlier than expected and no try-ons to determine exact alterations. I would rather drive the extra miles to my old cleaners than come back here.

I indicated that I wanted the hem to hit below the butt and the attendant pinned it there. No curvature to the hem, nothing special, just straight across. My 11-year-old niece could have done it. When I went to pick it up, the hem was at the hip. It's at least six inches too short. It looks ridiculous and I won't be able to wear it. Ruined and irreplaceable.
