I decided to try Union battery after looking at reviews and was skeptical about not buying a battery at a big corporate store . And I must say - as a small business owner myself- this was a GREAT decision- I got there at 8am - Andy - Andres came out and was patient enough to take the time to get to my battery which was in a difficult location to get too and got the job done and I got a Great price on a used battery that he tested in front of me for $65 with a 6 month warranty- versus a new one at a big corporate store for $250 - and they had new batteries there for $130. Bottom line - I will be referring everyone to Union had a great experience- and as a small business owner- I'd love to have Andrea - Andy working for ME ! He was great / knowledgeable/ and super helpful. Wanted to give my contact info just incase her ever needed a job. He definitely adds value to the company. Thanks again Union battery. read more

I ended up needing a new battery for my other car. Battery was still lower than at auto parts store, but they only last as long as warranty. My old battery warranty had expired only 2 ago! I could have gotten a new one. But oh well. read more

I was looking for a half-decent battery at less than full price for a perpetual project. They do offer cleaned, tested used batteries at very low prices... but I was sold on the ACDelco new "blem" batteries. They run $50 out-the-door (with exchange). I was most impressed with the friendly service. Both the counterman and the young man pre-testing the batteries were quite helpful. They went the extra mile, inspecting several batteries to find me one in the best of condition for the price. ***** Epilogue: Days later, Old Bertha's battery transplant was completed without complication despite her advanced age. She again cranks strong and fires right up... just like in her more glamorous younger years. read more

Careful!!!! I took two cars here to get their batteries swapped out.... Both cars ran beautifully before they worked on them.. as soon as they "replaced" the battery on the cars they did not start! I literally had to get the car towed from their location.... Lucky for me I have mechanic in my family that fixed both cars for me however I can't imagine someone who doesn't have a mechanic family member and would have to pay thousands to replace the electrical systems computers etc..... coincidence idk 1 car maybe but 2 cars and they both ran beautifully before taking.... Please be aware read more

I called this place looking for a marine deep cycle battery. I was in a hurry, as I was scheduled to leave on a trip, and learned that the battery was dead just prior to leaving.' On the phone, they asked about battery group (size) of the battery I needed. I confirmed that I needed the battery to be a marine deep cycle battery. Their employee that I was speaking with told me they had what I needed. I drove two cities over to get there. I was the only customer in the store. I brought my battery core, provided it to the cashier and told him I had called for the marine deep cycle battery. He confirmed he had spoken with me on the phone. He then requested my credit card. After charging my card,!he went to retrieve my new battery. When he brought it, I noticed it was not a marine deep cycle. It was a standard automotive battery. He tried to explain they only have automotive batteries and this one would work just fine. If you know anything about batteries, you'll know that an automotive battery will fit just fine, but it doesn't perform the same way. Looks like this place is trying to prey and people who don't know any better. I won't do business with a place I don't trust. read more

Never been to Union Battery but was in the location ive been coming to for years so figured id give it a try. I purchased two 6 volt house batteries for the Big Red Motorhome and i was weary as they indicated it was their house brand battery. 1st trip out and generator wouldn't start so took them back 2 weeks later told guys at counter what was going on said ill take a look at it no questions asked. Needless to say it was a cable that was bad but still swapped out 2 new ones with no questions asked or even referred to any receipt, no attitude just down right customer service which gained and continued customer. read more
