My job sent me here to get my uniform. I honestly didn't even know tailoring was an option, but the nice gentleman at the front desk told me they could do it for free with the voucher I had. I met this amazing tailor in the back of the store, pretty sure his name was Leo, who had me try everything on so he could customize the fit perfectly. He measured me from head to toe, asked about my comfort, and made sure every detail was right. He originally said everything would be ready in about two weeks, but he noticed I was a little sad when he said that, so he asked if I needed it any sooner. I said I didn't want to be any trouble, but if it could be done in about a week, that would be amazing. He smiled and said he'd try his best since I was nice about it. Sure enough, the day came (yesterday!), and it was ready. I tried it on again, and it fit perfectly. Before leaving, I asked the gentleman up front about belts, and he quickly showed me what they had so I could grab what I needed. Overall, I had a really great experience here. I hope others get the same kind of service I did because it made the whole process so easy and pleasant. read more

We staff a private research facility and ordered badges for this specific location, with the name of the laboratory on them. Not long after receiving them, we discovered that OUR badge was being sold on a novelty badge website originating in China. Same style, same text, with the name of the research facility on it! We contacted Uniforms and Accessories Warehouse, AKA Uniform Warehouse, and got a response acknowledging that the badge being sold was indeed identical to ours. We were told that they'd b ring this matter to the attention of their team here in the US and their supplier in Pakistan, then told us that no one on their end shared our design with the Chinese seller, and that WE must have shared our badge design online. This is a flat out incorrect assumption or an outright lie. For security reasons we have NEVER shared images of badges, uniforms, guards, or the facility that we staff. We aren't allowed to bring cell phones or cameras into the lab, and uniforms with badges remain there when we're off duty. Uniforms are also cleaned there. The seller in China shows photos of the front of the badge AND the back of the badge, with the pin and makers logo stamped into it. We would never share images of our badge, but even less so would we share photos of the BACK! Someone connected to Uniform Warehouse - or more likely their badge supplier - shared images online that the Chinese seller was able to snag due to issues with the makers or seller's internet security, or intentionally shared them WITH the China seller because they have a little "business going on the side." Uniform Warehouse said that this had never happened before, told us that they've asked the China seller to cease and desist (it's still listed for sale), and said that they would investigate further. We never heard back from them after that. A message to their CEO went unanswered, as did a followup message to their design team in California. We are now stuck with badges that are being sold online as novelty badges by a seller in China, and Uniform Warehouse stopped addressing the issue. If you need to order badges, keep this in mind. The badge that you and your team customizes is YOUR intellectual property. No one has the right to then share YOUR design and your text with your company name or employer's name with others. If our badge design was shared by mistake or by intent, Uniform Warehouse and their supplier won't own up to it, and neither does anything to make all of this right. AVOID ORDERING BADGES from them. read more

Absolutely horrible experience on my last purchase. Messed my name, wrong embroidery, alterations were all wrong. I brought my shirt which they did before and somehow they still found a way to messed up. Delayed my order and I asked the messed up shirts to be shipped to me as I was working 6 days straight. They shipped to the wrong address and didn't even bother to contact me after a week. Apparently the front desk person can't even copy the address from my driver license correctly. Always an excuse for everything. Now I am without my uniforms and having to figure out a time to drive far to pick up my shirts. Do yourself a favor and avoid going here. This must be the worst uniform store I have ordered from. I made a purchase of a Tactical vest, and they send me the wrong model. I wrote to them an e- mail on the same day of arrival. It has been three working days, I still haven't heard from the Company. I called them and they stated that I have to wait for two working days. Three working days past, still haven't got the vest. Went in there with my intention of spending my whole uniform voucher in the end I took my voucher and myself out of there. Worst service ever well never got any service at all. I walk in and the guy in front desk greets me and tells the metro stuff is over there I'll help in a bit I told him I had my voucher. Never did he come help me. Instead I'll go somewhere else to get help that I never received here. Also there uniform were very unorganized. Everything was out of there packages. Shoe area was a whole mess looks like a tornado went through it. Becnels is more pricey but you get way better service. Serves me well when they say you get what you paid for. I went here on Thursday......and as I pulled into the parking lot....I noticed a gentleman leaving...(It was 5:05 PM.) and I guess he was just getting off work. I asked him where the entrance was....cuz it's kinda confusing as to where to enter....He proceeded to tell me where the entrance was...but that it was CLOSED. I was like....AWWWW...because I really needed to get 2 items from here...ASAP I went toward the back anyway and was pleasantly surprised by the NICEST gentleman EVER....and he didn't even say anything about it already being closed......He HELPED me get just what I needed. I came here today in search of poke-resistant searching gloves. Unfortunately their glove selection was extremely limited (I was unable to find any searching gloves and could only find a few random unboxed pairs of black gloves). They did seem to have a wide array of various uniforms though (obviously, because it's a uniform store). I noted plenty of selection if you were private security, LA County Sheriff, or a Metro Bus/Rail operator. I've been told they do $7 shoe-shine, I may return to take a look at this, and also in the future to see if they have any black womens 511 uniforms. read more

If you live in L.A. you will understand why some people are very reluctant (myself included) to drive as little as 10miles just to run errands, why? The notorious L.A. traffic. But today 05/14, i didn't only fire up my car and drove 10miles, i drove 40miles from where i live to visit this store. Only a trip to pick up a check valued in thousands, would i drive that distance and in unpredictable L.A. traffic just to visit a store, when i can take advantage of the home delivery service. Last year, i made some online purchases from the Uniform Warehouse and i was happy with the quality of the items ordered and recieved, also the speed of the delivery was impressive. As it turned out, i needed some industry standard uniforms and items, i decided to order online yet again, but this time, for some reasons i selected store pick-up instead of home delivery. I am glad i did. On arrival and in complaince with CDC guidelines, inhad to wait in-line with 3 other people to allow for those in the store to come out, to avoid crowding, i suppose. I didnt have to wait 5minutes before it was my turn to go in. Now here is the juicy part...If you work in my industry (law enforcement, security etal) the Uniform Warehouse is the place to be. It is a huge store with large inventory of anything you want, you name it. Remember, i had gone to pick up my online orders, i couldn't help but make additional purchases when i entered the store. From LAPD approved uniforms to duty belts, to boots, jackets, tshirts everything, you will find it there. Everything is organized in such a way that it is east for you to find what youare looking for. What is a business without the employees and people who make the business what it is? ENTER ROSE: ROSE, the lady i would like to call "THE OCTOPUS". Rose was everywhere, while fulfilling you request at the same time. Before i could finish relaying my order number to her so she could find the order for pick-up, she was gone, across the store to the back office to look for my order,and just when i dipped my hand into my pocket to fetch my debit to pay for my new items, there she was in front of me, with my orders neatly packed in a box. I told her to help me something to open the box just to be to sure everything was complete, before i could say nack Robinson the box was opened. She did all this for me, while cashing up the till for another customer and making phone calls to the someone in the back office or somewhere to bring something upfront, all without missing a single request, either from me or the customer 6ft away from me. How she is able to do all of these all at the same time numbs my brain. So i wont even try. ENTER AL: I'll call him AL "THE SCRUPULOUS." After making additional purchases, i decides to do some exchanges, which by way is not allowed, but because i purchased online and was in store for pickup, exchange on certain items were allowed. He was SCRUPULOUS every step of the way, worked the numbers and gave me an even greater deal for some top quality items i exchange some of my items for. I knew i was asking for too much, but AL, maintained his pleasant personae. He was mellow and cheerful to me and other customers as Rose and Sayed were too. SAYED: "The i-ROBOT". The man who knows all the nook and crannies of the store, where everything is kept in. ack office and could fetch it in a matter od seconds. I had 3 items to exchange and nw in-store purchaes to change in sizes. AL called on Sayed, told Sayed what he needed to bring, Sayed was gone in a second and back the next. I needed engraving of my name done on a jacket (see picture) i bought in-store today, inspite of their work load and back orders, AL made it happen for me, i only had to wait minutes. I stepped out to put away all other items i bought in my car trunk, and decided to wait outside to be called after the engraving ia finished, within 20minutes of waiting by my car, here comes SAYED with my last order, Neatly done and packed. Come on guys!!! These people imemtioned here today and others in the back office i didnt see are AMAZING. I am very tight with compliment and somewhat hard to please, but these guys are the Crème de la crème of customer service. They make you feel welcomed, they are appreciative of your cents and dollar, unlike some places in the same industry market i know around me here in Torrance/Lawndale/ Hawthorne. This place is good if you want the most basic gear you can get..but if your looking for something with better pricing and quality, spend the extra time going to LA Police Gear in Valencia. I asked about pricing for a certain light bar and boots. The associate couldn't give me a price on the light bar because "he didn't know anything about them". So I called to see if they had Bianchi accumold magazine pouches, SMOOTH, NOT WOVEN. I was assured they had two left. They even put me on hold for five minutes while they checked their physical warehouse to see that they had a Biancho accumold magazine pouch that was smooth and NOT WOVEN. Very disappointed noticed the price increases during the covid-19 pandemic. Someone buys a BDU when first phase of the pandemic and then someone buys the same exact BDU with all patches ext. And price was about $35 more. Then someone buys a BDU short sleeve shirt with all patches and alterations and pays $161 for one shirt. Person is surprised at the price and person at register says you make good money. WOW really can't believe I heard that. Suppose to get uniforms for good prices but yet they are taking advantage of this whole situation. Disappointing read more

Do not recommend! Every time I have gone there. They always seem to busy to help. I ordered something and it took 2 months, instead of the 2 weeks in what they told me to receive it and only got them because I went in to complain. Even with complaining, still no one wanted to take reappropriate help me receive my items. A manager came out to help me and only wanted to blame the sales person for the mess up. I normally don't complain but this has happened more than once. read more

Stopped in for some uniforms for my wife. They have all sorts from different kinds of service industries. Finding what we needed was easy. But I mostly want to compliment the tailor. I do not know what his name is, as my wife dealt with him directly. But what I can say is he went above and beyond to make sure my wife had her uniform back in a timely manner, as she told him she had an upcoming interview. He had it ready BEFORE the original day he said it would be ready, and then dropped it off to her on his way home from work, stating it was on his way. I mean, in this day & age, who does that anymore? To me, this is the epitome of excellent service, and I would like to compliment him on this. Well done, sir.
