Went in looking for a dry cleaner and found out they do so much more, including fixing shoes and…read moremaking alterations. Upon entering and being greeted, I checked in on Yelp to find out they have a 30% off check-in offer for new customers. I presented it and they took it no qualms. In this, I also found out that they send you an e-mail when your order is done. Needless to say, that's exactly what happened. When I came to pick up my order, which was a dress, it was lovely. It was clean, packed well, and I was pleased. I did find the price a bit pricey compared to my old dry cleaner in Hialeah, but it is what it is. I ended up, too, speaking to a seamstress there about a top I had gotten fixed elsewhere. I told her I didn't know whether to further fix it or not. She had me try it on, quoted me a price, and then actually spoke to me about the pros and cons about whether or not it made sense to fix it further. Given the material, how often I plan to wear the top, and the price itself to fix it, the seamstress was honest and told me it didn't make sense to fix it. Nevertheless, she would if I wanted to. This went on for half an hour or so, and well, that level of attention and care, even though I didn't end up getting the top fixed, convinced me of my return. When I have something that actually is worth altering, I'll go to them. They actually care about their customers unlike the other place I went to. Not to mention that they did a great job on my dress. The only reason I'm not giving five stars is the price, but even then, I'm sure I may change my tune in the future if they continue to provide exemplary service.

That was until I found this place. The woman who does the alterations understood perfectly the look I was going for and executes beautifully. Not only that, but she works with me to make sure I always have my clothes back in time. Not only that, but I think they do their dry-cleaning in-house so after dropping my clothes off for a cleaning, they are ready 1-2 days before most places that have the clothing picked up and dry-cleaned off premises. Overall, the quality of work and service at this place will keep me going back, and I recommend them to all my friends who need alterations. 10/10 experience every time.

But today I am empowered to express my disappointment with Save On Cleaners. In a nutshell, they did NOT have my rush ready Monday after 5 pm as promised, for a very important business trip of my husband's. I prepaid plus was charged $2.00 extra a piece for rush which I was wiling to pay as part of my need for clothes for an early Tuesday morning flight. Monday at 6 pm I arrived to find clothes were not there. They apologized and said the girl who processed order never wrote RUSH although I paid the extra. I stayed "mistakes happen." and was promised next morning and a full reimbursement. Next morning picked up clothes on the way to airport. No refund yet. Came in to get refund. Denied. Called back to seek refund. Told I was guaranteed % refund. They said 100% it will be ready Tuesday morning. Called Wednesday for refund. I was told they would NOT refund. I said not only will you lose a customer but you will lose my respect. They refused to accommodate me. It's simple manners, relationships and honesty. It looks like "they took me to the cleaners."

Total Dry Cleaners had the highest rating south of 595 so I decided to give them a try. The signage is a bit confusing, now as it says "Martinizing." I paused at the door, not sure whether to still drop off my dry cleaning because I did not know if all of the good reviews attached to Total mattered if the store changed. Someone inside saw my pause, and came out to say this is Total. Since they were so enthusiastic, and I was already there, I went ahead and dropped off my cleaning. They were exceptionally nice, accommodating, and quick with their return times. Their prices are also good. I happened to need to pick my items up on June 3rd, when the tropical storm was coming through. They are closed on Sunday, and I was worried I wouldn't be able to get my suits for a business trip. Not to fear, even in the storm they came in and honored store hours saving my day. I would have understood if they were closed, but was extremely thankful they were open. Vica helped me and she is so nice and kind. Total is a bit east of where I live, but for reliable, honest, and friendly service I am happy to have found a place I can count on. They said they cannot change the Total reviews over to Martinizing (and that they are still Total). This is still a bit confusing, but they requested I put the review here and not in a new business. Maybe someone at Yelp can help switch the reviews over.
