Recently moved south from the north side of Broward County and have been looking for a reliable Dry Cleaner. Total Dry Cleaners had the highest rating south of 595 so I decided to give them a try. The signage is a bit confusing, now as it says "Martinizing." I paused at the door, not sure whether to still drop off my dry cleaning because I did not know if all of the good reviews attached to Total mattered if the store changed. Someone inside saw my pause, and came out to say this is Total. Since they were so enthusiastic, and I was already there, I went ahead and dropped off my cleaning. They were exceptionally nice, accommodating, and quick with their return times. Their prices are also good. I happened to need to pick my items up on June 3rd, when the tropical storm was coming through. They are closed on Sunday, and I was worried I wouldn't be able to get my suits for a business trip. Not to fear, even in the storm they came in and honored store hours saving my day. I would have understood if they were closed, but was extremely thankful they were open. Vica helped me and she is so nice and kind. Total is a bit east of where I live, but for reliable, honest, and friendly service I am happy to have found a place I can count on. They said they cannot change the Total reviews over to Martinizing (and that they are still Total). This is still a bit confusing, but they requested I put the review here and not in a new business. Maybe someone at Yelp can help switch the reviews over. read more

I have been using Total (Martinizing) Dry Cleaners (6644 Stirling Rd, in Hollywood) since 2016. I've always been satisfied with their cleaning, their reasonable prices AND their EXCELLENT customer service! In fact, I'm driving 20 min out of my way each time I drop off and pick up my Dry Cleaning, rather than use a local cleaning service... and I don't mind the minor inconvenience because of the TERRIFIC customer service I get from Vica and her co-workers. I don't know what a five star dry cleaners is, but this place did a great job with my dress shirts, one suit, four dress pants, and a few polos. Altogether I had almost 20 pieces. I paid cash when I dropped off but you can also pay with a card. They got out a small stain on my suit too. Dropped off on a Monday and picked up on Thursday by 5:30. Laundered shirts were less than $2.00 which is always a good deal. The one downside compared to my normal dry cleaner is they don't offer a 2 for 3 deal where every 3rd garment is free. This comes in handy for pants. I haven't compared the price yet to my normal spot, which is in Fort Lauderdale, but this is a good alternative. read more

Warning! Warning! Warning! This place is a complete disaster. I brought my clothing to them expecting a dry cleaning place to do their job and actually clean my clothing. I got my clothing back with the same stains I gave it to them with. They gave me a lame excuse saying those stains weren't removable. I brought the same pieces to another place and like magic the stains were removed. They also managed to lose a $200 t shirt of mine in the process. When I tried to hold them accountable for it, the owner said that it was their store policy to only pay up to 10 times of the cost of the dry cleaning service which in my case was $45.00. Now im a business owner myself and in my business when a mistake happens I do everything in my power to cure it and make sure my customers are always happy. In the case of this owner $200 was way over her head. What a disgrace. Ladies & Gents. Do not let their cheap prices intrigue you, they provide a horrible service, they do a very poor job cleaning your clothing and they will not take proper responsibility in the event they make a mistake. When it comes to cleaning clothing especially expensive clothing it's definitely worth the extra few bucks to deal with the right dry cleaners. This place is a disgrace. read more

I have been doing business with Total cleaners for about 5 years now through pickup service at my job. The good customer service does not stop with Patrick on his pickups, but also carry over to the store. When I worked on Sheridan and he would do pick at that location I would go to the store and pick up my laundry instead of waiting the following week. I went to this cleaner based on the Yelp reviews and the proximity to my new job. I don't really understand the high ratings. I went there one time. I started a new job and bought several nice suits. They lost my new jacket to a suit; i received the pants back with someone else's jacket. I brought it back to the shop, and was told they would search for my jacket. They said they had an idea who had it, and asked if I would give them a little time. I never heard back from them. The items were cleaned, but not pressed at all. I had to steam everything to make them wearable. My new grey suit looked like someone had hung it up wet and left to dry. I will say the staff were very nice and the prices were incredibly reasonable. It's true I could have made it an issue, but I don't have the time to chase people down. If the dry cleaning service had been better, I might have made more of an effort to have them pay or comp me for the jacket and return to the shop, but I just moved on to another cleaner.
