By far the worst customer service I've ever received from a Dry Cleaning facility. I had taken a brand new pair of jeans with tags attached to get the zipper fixed. Upon getting the jeans back, one of the pockets was punctured when the alterations were made, and I wasn't even notified of it. I called the owner (Jorge), sent him pictures, but he didn't offer me any compensation. All I wanted was the money I had paid for the alteration back, but his response to me was "we don't do work for free," even though he acknowledged messing up my brand new pair of jeans. This dry cleaner just opened up in the Publix plaza and I saw the store last Saturday when I went to Publix. I live close by and spend about $100 to $200 every 2 months on dry cleaning so I went to check it out. They were closed but the lights were on and a lady was still inside. I think that she was the owner so she opened the door when I knocked and let me in. She gave me a flyer and explained that they had recently opened and used a dry-cleaning method without non-toxic chemicals. There are no prices visible in the store but she told me that I would get 50% of my first visit as stated on the flyer that she gave me. I told her that I would come by soon but that I had a lot of clothes to be cleaned. She replied better for her and better for me because 50% off was a good offer off for me and after I saw their work, I would keep coming back. I went back the next Saturday (yesterday) at about 12 noon with about 80 pieces of clothes to be cleaned. The store still did not have any visible prices so George, who I believe is the manager, told me that they had a simple 2 price system of $2.95 for laundered shirts and $6.95 for most other dry-cleaned items. He then told me that I couldn't receive the 50% discount on the laundered shirts that I brought in because the $2.95 price per shirt was already a low price and I had too many shirts so he couldn't apply the 50% discount from $2.95 price as a courtesy. I spoke with him for a few minutes but he did not change his mind so I ended up picking up all my clothes and making two trips back to the car with all the dirty clothes. Truth be told , I do not know if this store does a good job or not cleaning clothes. But the fact that they advertise 50% off your first visit and then they don't follow through suggests an unscrupulous pattern of doing business, especially given that the original un-discounted prices are not visible or written but only given orally when you ask. After I left the store, I looked again at the flyer with the 50% discount. It states that the 50% discount does not apply to rugs, leather, wedding gowns, delicate garments or comforters...but nowhere does it state that the 50% discount does not apply to laundered shirts. (I added a picture of the flyer and the 50% discount section). Seems like a bait and switch marketing tactic so for that reason I can only give a one-star rating to this company. Seems that I will keep going to my current dry-cleaner which I would rate a 6 or 7 out of 10. read more

They wouldn't let me simply pick up my order when I showed up a few minutes past their new closing time of 6 p.m. Even though online it still said 7 p.m. This caused me to be without my suit when I needed it most. Quick and efficient dry cleaning services! I dropped off some of my work blouses to MCM Cleaners on a late Wednesday afternoon and it was ready by that Saturday. I was pleasantly surprised to find out that they offer Apple Pay. As far as the service itself, they paid close attention to detail on the various fabric types. Something that meant the world to me was that they restored a blouse, by shaving off the bumps caused by traditional dryers. I drop my goose feather comforter at this place monthly and the only 2 negatives to this place would be its prices and the reliability of the store. Hours are subject to change and the store hours are not very friendly for 9-5ers. To wash the king size comforter is about $60. I would give them 3.5/5 but Yelp doesn't let you do that, so I'll err on the side of positivity. Other than that, they do a good job of maintaining the comforter and taking good care of it. Place is clean and staff is friendly. It's the only place in the area that I know of that DRY cleans goose feather comforters. read more

I can't overstate this, the staff this is one of the kindest staffs I have ever encountered; including the owners, who work there as well. As a Doctor, not only do they service my medical coat, but also my dress pants and alterations. We were just about to give up because we had called a few other places in the area and they all had said Monday was the earliest we could get it. But, thankfully the nice people at MCM saved the day! My family was in need of professional dry cleaning service. I searched the internet and Yelp and came across MCM dry cleaners. I called prior to dropping off my daughter's winter coats. I wanted to know if work was done on the premises? I was assured by a pleasant gentleman that, work was done on the premises and they do not use any harsh chemicals either. This was my first and last time going to this dry cleaners. When I first approached the door, I could see nobody had their mask on. There was a woman sewing on a bench near the front door and when she saw me approaching she then put it on. I went to the counter and a gentleman with a full beard approached me - seems to be a mother and son owned dry cleaner. The entire time he DOES NOT put a mask on. Are you kidding me? You need to respect not only your customers but yourself as well, sir. I gave him the benefit of the doubt to see if he would put a mask on and never did the entire time I was there. I brought 1 Pant and 1 Jacket on a Tuesday. I told him I needed it by Friday for my mother's wedding on Saturday. Without even mentioning it to me, I see on my receipt he put a "rush fee" for my clothes and for 1 Pant and 1 Jacket, I paid almost $20. Are you kidding me? Talk about a rip off and taking advantage of someone because of an event they have going on. My clothes would've been done by Friday WITHOUT THE RUSH FEE. Dude, you totally ripped me off and took advantage of my situation charging me almost $20 for what I brought in. When I went to pick up my clothes, still NO MASK from ANYONE. I read the other reviewer who noted she had trouble with the coupon, and I must admit I would definitely have walked out as well. Had they not had any discount, I imagine the reviewer would still have used them, but for the fact they told her they would give her the discount, and then tried to find ways to squirm out of it, would have been extremely frustrating and would've been the last time I would have returned. From her comments, it would appear this was a bad decision on MCM's part, and while the discount may have been significant at first, having a new customer that brings you 80 garments every few months certainly seems like a win for the business, and worth the discount to acquire that customer. With all this said, I will share my experiences have been much different, though I have not been working with a gentleman, rather I had been working with the owner, who is a very pleasant woman, And in the few times I have gone there, her and her staff have all been extremely pleasant, accommodating, and have consistently provided both great customer service as well as delivered my dry cleaning with great results. Unfortunately, it appears there's only a few reviews on Yelp for this New business, and I would hate for new customers to be dissuaded from what is obviously a bad experience, and in turn I hope MCM realizes first impressions go along way, and that they would honor their word, as Often folks only write reviews when they are negative, so by not allowing the customer to save a few extra dollars, could have a significant and far-reaching negative impact, something any new business would want to avoid. In summary, I can say my experience has again been very positive, and I would most certainly recommend MCM to anyone looking for a dry cleaner who provides great results, and in my experience great customer service, and to MCM Cleaners l, I would only provide some reasonable advice, in any business that deals with customers, the customer is always right (god knows that is not always the case, but sometimes proving you are right is not worth the cost of losing a customer, especially one who not only would bring you a significant volume, but also one that is now going to tell all their friends and family not to use you, having a much significant impact.) read more
