I entrusted this dry cleaner with five high-end garments valued at over $3,000. When the items were…read morereturned, multiple pieces had clearly shrunk by roughly two sizes and were no longer wearable. These garments fit properly before service and were worn without issue. When I raised the concern, instead of taking responsibility or offering a reasonable resolution, the company dismissed the damage entirely, hid behind "industry standards," and claimed the changes were within "normal tolerances," despite the fact that the garments were materially altered and unusable. What was especially frustrating is that a prior issue with a different garment had already occurred, which they acknowledged at the time by offering compensation as a "courtesy." Now, faced with a much larger and more obvious loss, they refused any accountability. I expected professionalism and care commensurate with handling expensive clothing. Instead, I was met with deflection and a refusal to stand behind their work. I would strongly caution anyone considering bringing valuable or tailored garments here.

Recently moved south from the north side of Broward County and have been looking for a reliable Dry…read moreCleaner. Total Dry Cleaners had the highest rating south of 595 so I decided to give them a try. The signage is a bit confusing, now as it says "Martinizing." I paused at the door, not sure whether to still drop off my dry cleaning because I did not know if all of the good reviews attached to Total mattered if the store changed. Someone inside saw my pause, and came out to say this is Total. Since they were so enthusiastic, and I was already there, I went ahead and dropped off my cleaning. They were exceptionally nice, accommodating, and quick with their return times. Their prices are also good. I happened to need to pick my items up on June 3rd, when the tropical storm was coming through. They are closed on Sunday, and I was worried I wouldn't be able to get my suits for a business trip. Not to fear, even in the storm they came in and honored store hours saving my day. I would have understood if they were closed, but was extremely thankful they were open. Vica helped me and she is so nice and kind. Total is a bit east of where I live, but for reliable, honest, and friendly service I am happy to have found a place I can count on. They said they cannot change the Total reviews over to Martinizing (and that they are still Total). This is still a bit confusing, but they requested I put the review here and not in a new business. Maybe someone at Yelp can help switch the reviews over.

Used their service once and only once due to an inaccurate 5 star Yelp rating. I feel it is my…read moreduty to warn other yelpers. Issues include: 1) Price: They are double the price of any other cleaners within 5 miles (and there are plenty of nearby cleaners). That reason right there is enough to lower at least one star. Who wants to overpay for dry cleaning? Plus- if you do charge double, at least make it worth it. 2) Bad alternations: Brought in a pair of jeans- the hem was eh and was still slightly long. Also, they randomly put a crease in the middle of the pants, even though it was just a hem. They did correct this as soon as I pointed it out. 3) Biggest issue: I brought in a silk shirt that had a stain on it and 1) the stain was still there and 2) they did not say anything about it until I mentioned it. I understand if you tried to remove the stain and it could not come out, then simply point it out and I would pay for the stain removal attempt. However, to not even mention it and then get an attitude after I just asked about it, is not the way to go about it. In addition- since it was a silk blouse- I still had to pay over $20 to get it dry cleaned and I have to throw it out anyway. Once you notice the stain cannot come out, give me a call and tell me, rather than continue with the dry cleaning and give me a "clean" shirt with a stain that I have no use for. Ok- so as a dry clean regular, I will be definitely be taking my clothes elsewhere. Hope I helped other yelpers!
