Both times the vehicle was returned to me with the adaptive cruise control front sensor inoperative. Thd first time I gave them a bye since in 2013 adaptive cruise was an innovative technology. Both times they did good body work on my vehicle, but they failed to take responsibility for their sub-contractor. The second time I had a discussion with them to make sure that we did not have a repeat of the 2013 fiasco, especially since we knew going in that the adaptive cruise front sensor was damaged. I recieved assurances that it wouldnt happen again. When I picked up my vehicle, the sensor was inop. It spent another 36 days at the dodge dealership which was the subcontractor. They were the same subcontractor as in 2013 that Paint N Motioned bad mouthed then. PnMotion even mentioned to me while bad mouthing dodge that they had the same problem with other customers vehicles. We all can have problems with subcontractors, but its not like there is only one dodge dealership in the SFL metro area. Again PnMotion bad mouthed the sub contractor instead of taking ownership of the situation. The body shop refused to cover the remaining two weeks of the car rental after my insurance company would only pay for 45 days. The dealership blamed the body shop for bad work, but neither one should have been telling me how bad each other are, they should have taken care of the problem. Bottom line is if you have a repair that may involve a third party contractor, avoid this body shop.

Best car repair shop in Miami!!!!…read more My family has been going here for over a decade to service all manner of European cars On the contrary dealing with Mercedes service is a nightmare and the amount they charge for simple repairs, or in some cases service that should be covered, is absolutely outrageous. Specialty charges a fraction of what Mercedes charges and more importantly: they actually fix the issue! Not to mention your car is usually there a lot less time than at the dealership - usually a couple days at most for just about any issue you might have. Often times I've taken my car there to make sure that the constant Mercedes warnings that appear on the dashboard are in fact, not a product of any serious car issue, but usually something to do with the sensors being out of place or some technical car issue that isn't the catastrophe the warning indicators suggest... In these situations, we are not only normally in and out within the day, but often times they don't even charge if it is a simple fix for them as they have more integrity than any mechanic I have been to! ‍

I had to advocate for myself on the backend the entire time with insurance and make multiple calls to get an update on the status from Specialty, my car was never a priority while my vehicle sat there. Take your vehicle elsewhere. Every car serviced should be test driven and evaluated for drivability. Also, each client should be presented with service paperwork to sign off on They supposedly gave me an oil change and didn't even add windshield wiper fluid. Tell tale sign of lack of inspection or service protocols. Awful customer service and followup. And if my car was needing to be on the chopping block why would you complete a $1000 repair on it without evaluating the entire vehicle's needs first.

Hello everyone. I have been using The Vette Smith for several years now and I am happy to report…read morethat they have always done a great job for me on all touch ups or insurance related repairs on any of our vehicles. Will tell you upfront that this outfit is not going to be the cheapest place in town; however, they do excellent work and possibly one of the only body shops I would recommend in the South Miami-Dade area that I would recommend to anyone that really cares about their daily driver or collector car. They only know how to do things one way, which is the right way. They will provide you with options and you can take your pick depending on how much you want to spend. They work well with all insurance companies so no issues on that front either. The Vette Smith has been helping many collectors properly maintain their collector cars which is not limited to body work. They also have expert mechanics and technicians on site that can assist you with any issues you may be experiencing. If they can't take care of it for you, they will let you know which is one of things I like best about working with them. Outside of these items they also perform expert detailing and paint correction services as well. So if you are looking for a good body shop that can take care of your body work or mechanical issues on your daily driver or beloved collector, feel free to visit and have a chat with them. Dayton and Craig are awesome, so you can ask for either one of them and I am sure you will be treated well and with the utmost professionalism which in Miami is pretty hard to find these days!
