Lack of inspection of repair work post "completion" and he did not get me more money for my collision repairs as he stated from Geico as I was the one who had the inspector come out to get the car inspected. I had to advocate for myself on the backend the entire time with insurance and make multiple calls to get an update on the status from Specialty, my car was never a priority while my vehicle sat there. Take your vehicle elsewhere. Every car serviced should be test driven and evaluated for drivability. Also, each client should be presented with service paperwork to sign off on They supposedly gave me an oil change and didn't even add windshield wiper fluid. Tell tale sign of lack of inspection or service protocols. Awful customer service and followup. And if my car was needing to be on the chopping block why would you complete a $1000 repair on it without evaluating the entire vehicle's needs first. read more

My family has been going here for over a decade to service all manner of European cars On the contrary dealing with Mercedes service is a nightmare and the amount they charge for simple repairs, or in some cases service that should be covered, is absolutely outrageous. Not to mention your car is usually there a lot less time than at the dealership - usually a couple days at most for just about any issue you might have. Often times I've taken my car there to make sure that the constant Mercedes warnings that appear on the dashboard are in fact, not a product of any serious car issue, but usually something to do with the sensors being out of place or some technical car issue that isn't the catastrophe the warning indicators suggest... We took our 1999 Range Rover in a few months back. I thought it was going to cost an arm and a leg. All four breaks needed to be done and the Air Suspension went out. Truck became a low rider and was not comfortable. They had a flat bed come to my place the same day. They found a solution to take the air kit out and replace it with spring shocks. Cost about 1/3 of the price it would have to replace the air kit. And they took off a few housdred. We are actually taking the truck in again because it is leaking fluid. I don't think it has anything to do with the previous issue and if it is, I am sure they will take care of it!!! Going to a Mechanic can be very nerve racking. Especially if you don't know too much about cars. There is always that perception that you are going to get ripped off. You will not get that feeling here... Trust me. Very friendy and helpful. Now that my warranty is up on my car, I bring my Range Rover and my Porsche here and they do a great job! They are honest, hard working and friendly not to mention 1/3 of the price my porsche dealership charges for the exact same tires. Tucked away in between all of the other warehouses and car repair places, it is the only place you'll see with Ferraris and Bentleys outside. A bit out of the way since it is so far south but totally worth the drive. I have been a customer of Specialty Car Services for a couple of years now. I have had bodywork done, brakes done and oil change as well. On January 15, 2016 I came in for an oil change and mentioned to one of your employee's that I needed and oil change and mentioned to him that I have been hearing a light hammering noise coming from the engine and that I checked my oil and it was not measuring to the max line but not showing low and perhaps it was low on oil and to please check to see if it was related to the oil not being up to the max line on the dip stick. (What happen next was sneaky and unfair.) My windshield wipers were changed and was never told, ( hey you might want to change those wipers soon and the cost is $74.00) Rick simply took it upon himself and installed new ones without my consent then after they were installed he mentioned that they were $74.00. Besides that I was billed an additional $61.50 for what was suppose to be a courtesy inspection of the noise my engine was making which no one ever even advised me what could be causing the noise. (My car is still making the light hammering sound.)To make matters worse later that night I noticed my license plate holder was removed and replaced by one of your Specialty Car Service holder advertising your company without my consent and my Mercedes Benz of Miami license plate holder was simply thrown in my trunk along with two screws. Needles to say you have lost me as a customer and I am requesting that at least the $61.50 that was suppose to be a "courtesy inspection" be credited to the debit card I used. P.S. - I am a hardworking man who does not make more then 40k a year and I feel like I was taken advantage of just because I drive "2010 Mercedes that I bought used" NO ONE should be a victim of over pricing without consent. I hope this can be resolved without me taking legal action against your company and posting a bad review/experience with the Better Business Bureau, as well as your facebook page. I mean you guys didn't even fill my windshield wiper fluid with at least water after replacing the wipers that I did not give a verbal or written estimate for. These people are amazing! My car was stuck at the falls because my keys fell in the trunk of my Jaguar! Jaguars have a very complicated system so there was no way to get the trunk open without my keys. There were no buttons in the dashboard and there was a wall blocking the trunk to the back passenger seat. So instead of me towing it, they came to the mall!!! It was impossible to open the trunk and they worked hard to open It for me (even in the hot blazing sun) they eventually got a solution but they never gave up! We have a 2006 Range Rover, which even after we were out of warranty, continued to get serviced at Land Rover South Dade. They are SO helpful. I wish I would've known this place before. I took my car today because I'm moving in a few days and going to sell my car tomorrow. I wanted to get one of the tail lights fixed since the white light when you back up wouldn't turn on. And they investigated it and told me that they wouldn't need to replace it. I don't know exactly what the problem was and how they fixed it. But they didn't even charge me. Also I had my spare key attached to somewhere on the bottom of my car (my ex put it there 6 years ago and I couldn't find it lol). My experiences with Specialty Car Services spans 12 years and three vehicles. I owned an F-150 of which they did ALL the maintenance on - when I sold the truck it had 420,000 miles on it and it is still on the street! I recently purchased a new 2016 F-150 truck. I have ALL maintenance done with Specialty over the dealer, because I know they not only keep computerized records of everything that truck needs, when it needs it and when they performed the work. I also will be advised of upcoming maintenance needs. I had a front end collision recently and had to have substantial body work done on my brand new truck - Specialty not only does all engine works, but has a state of the art collision and body repair division. They immediately went to work on my front end repairs, painting and part ordering. Ford was unable to provide an integral part to complete the front end grille and accessories installation. Instead of keeping me in a rental, they were able to provide a temporary fix to put me and my truck back on the road again and save me substantial rental expense! When the part arrive my truck was high on the list to receive the few parts that were available across the country (since this part was on back order) only because Specialty not only paid for the part in advance but called the dealer daily to ensure they had the part I needed to complete the service for my new truck.
