    Excellent stitching on delicate fabric

Elham is a talented and skillful seamstress. I dropped off a multilayered chiffon bridesmaid dress and she quoted me a fair price and a reasonably fast turnaround time, especially considering spring is a busy time for weddings, graduations, etc. The stitching on my dress looks even better than the original. I'm so glad I chose this place.

I went with my matron of honor (3 months postpartum & her lil man Hank tagged along), my future mother in law, and mother. The staff & owner, Emilie, were so kind, attentive, knowledgeable, and truly invested in helping me find something I felt amazing in. I felt extremely heard, validated, and beautiful throughout the whole experience. There was never any pressure or rush, just thoughtful guidance and such a positive atmosphere. You can tell how much she cares about her customers and about making the experience memorable, not just making a sale. I left feeling so happy and grateful that I chose Emerald City Gowns. I walked out the same day with my PERFECT dress which just so happened to be consignment. I tried on samples, consignment, and made to order without realizing the difference. All gowns were gorgeous! When we found "the one", we approached checkout and my mother who generously was paying for the gown, was pleasantly surprised at this high value designer gown's price! We stayed under budget unintentionally, but are so thrilled with the pricing! If you're looking for beautiful gowns and the kind of personal, thoughtful service that makes you feel truly taken care of, I cannot recommend them enough!

Claudia was super helpful and I appreciated being able to go through the dresses together and talk about what I did and didn't prefer. The try-on area was pretty, spacious, and clean, and everyone was really friendly. They have a very good selection of reasonably priced dresses. Mine wound up being a discontinued one and the final price was $1,200. I knew my girl (dress) when I saw her but wondered if I was just drawn to the novelty, because it was the first time I'd tried on that style. They let me put a hold on it, for a one-week $150 fee that went toward the final price. They let me swing back by a few days later to try it on one last time- again, super friendly, helpful, and just a nice environment to be in. They made it super easy and comfortable and I definitely recommend!

I told her I needed…read moreclothes for a 3-day wedding event in India, but I had no idea what to wear, and I didn't know what my size was for Indian-style clothes. She sized me up with a quick glance and showed me the sections where I could find different styles in my size at different price points. My sister was with me and we started going through the racks and oooohing and aaaaahing at the variety of outfits. The lady brought over a mustard outfit that included a sleeveless kurta, matching linen leggings, and dupatta (shawl-like scarf). I was slightly hesitant to try it on because it wasn't my style but i decided to trust their suggestion since it's their interest to style their clients. I was unprepared and didn't have any formal shoes/heels but they had a pair in their dressing room, which fit me. I slipped into the tunic and leggings and they fit perfectly! I walked out to show my sister and she and i were both wowed by the outfit. Another sales lady came over and said it looked great on me. They gave me another outfit to try on, a salmon pink gharara suit. The kurta has 3/4 sleeves and gorgeous beading with lattice-shaped cutout design at the hem of the tunic and matching pants that flare out at the knees with a sheer stole. The pants are long on me, I'm 5'1" and even with heels on the pants are floor-length, but I immediately fall in love with the outfit. The pants are a little loose but they were able to fix it in the store while I tried on another outfit. The elaborate detail on the tunic is absolutely gorgeous. The last outfit is a navy blue embroidered sleeveless anarkali floor-length gown with leggings and dupatta. The deep navy is accentuated with gold thread and embroidery. Again, not my style but once I put it on, it felt perfect. Before I walked out, I picked out bangles, and jewelry sets to go with each outfit. I was all set for the wedding and I couldn't have been happier with the styles they recommended. The only items I had a problem with were the navy blue bangles, which left green markings on my arm - a minor complaint in an otherwise beautiful outfit. I saw the other comments about this business but I had a great experience with their service, attention, and selection. I walked away loving the dresses and jewelry. At the wedding, I received a lot of compliments from other guests and they all asked where I purchased my clothes.

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! Never coming back here again!…read more I was checking the Indian stores in the location out along with this one I was heading to, and what also seems to be an apartment complex apparently, and as I was walking by the small parking lot that clearly states it's for those designated businesses on the sign, Some old Indian man was checking inside of my car, looking all around through the windows , checking my VIN number and I approached him and asked him what he was doing and that was my car. He asked me that there's no public parking here. I said , I was checking out the Indian stores in the area along with this one , and he said "well it's only for those stores and he pointed at his building, I guess he was the owner? I honestly don't even know who he is , but he was giving me horrible attitude , raising his voice saying he's not a mind reader? It was so wired m, and telling me I couldn't park here or I would get towed and he said he has 80 apartment complex's here, and something about since I was parked here there was no parking? Honestly nothing he was saying was making any sense. And seeing that this conversation was going nowhere , seeing as he was standing in front of me , and wouldn't let me get to my car until I went around him and told him to have a nice day and walked away . I honestly was a bit nervous and scared cause he seemed really upset. Technically it is a public parking to those stores that I was heading to but he didn't even let me explain that I was going to this store next cause I was looking for a specific item instead he said he wasn't a mind reader and how was he supposed to know? . Just horrible experience never coming back here again.

My fiancée and I came here last year looking for an engagement ring together - I knew I wanted something unique, but wasn't sure where to start. Rada's collection is amazing and full of so many treasures. She worked with us and one of her artists to customize a ring based on a stone we loved, and she made me a custom matching wedding band at the same time. It turned out better than I could have possibly imagined, and was surprisingly affordable - she will work with your budget and give you a variety of options. I get so many compliments all the time on my ring, and it's by far my favorite possession! Flash forward a year - it's a week before our wedding, and I remembered at the very last minute that I should probably clean my ring before the wedding photos. I sent Rada a frantic note to see if there was any way she could help me with that, acknowledging the very short time frame. In just two days, she had my ring cleaned, the band was repolished, and returned to me looking better than ever. And she did this all for no charge!! I'm blown away by the customer service and so grateful to Rada for going out of her way to help me. Will definitely be returning to scoop up some more pieces in the future. In short: this place is amazing, go check it out and support Rada's growing business!!
