I just can't say enough great things about Rada and Zaver & Mor. After my fiance purchased my engagement ring at the shop, we (of course) returned for our wedding bands. I found two unique and perfect rings to sub for a traditional wedding band, while my fiance was hesitant and didn't think he'd ever be able to find anything he was comfortable with. Rada listened (and somehow just knew!) the type of ring he wanted, and proactively followed up with us after she saw how uncertain he was. She sent an email with photos of rings she thought he may like - that were the perfect price point - which made it very easy for him to comfortably browse. Sure enough, he found a ring he liked in that email, and we went for it. We waited probably too long to purchase our wedding bands, but Rada, with her exceptional customer service (seriously, the best service I've ever received...she remembered my name after not being in the shop for months...lover her), she quickly placed our order, made the resizing, and had our rings in plenty of time for the big day. We love our rings and I'm constantly hearing compliments on my bands. Such a great overall experience! read more

Great new addition to Berkeley's Gourmet Ghetto neighborhood! Zaver & Mor is a really cute, contemporary jewelry store with pieces from local designers. All of the pieces that they carry are rather unique. Rada, the owner of the store, has a great relationship with the designers so if you find a piece that isn't your size or you would like in a different color or with a different stone, she is able to order a piece that is to your taste. This is going to be my new go-to place for gift items! read more

Rada has amazing customer service, and this shop is beautifully curated and full of wonderful, unique pieces. Go shop here and support this amazing local woman-owned business - you will NOT be disappointed! My fiancée and I came here last year looking for an engagement ring together - I knew I wanted something unique, but wasn't sure where to start. Rada's collection is amazing and full of so many treasures. She worked with us and one of her artists to customize a ring based on a stone we loved, and she made me a custom matching wedding band at the same time. It turned out better than I could have possibly imagined, and was surprisingly affordable - she will work with your budget and give you a variety of options. I get so many compliments all the time on my ring, and it's by far my favorite possession! Flash forward a year - it's a week before our wedding, and I remembered at the very last minute that I should probably clean my ring before the wedding photos. I sent Rada a frantic note to see if there was any way she could help me with that, acknowledging the very short time frame. In just two days, she had my ring cleaned, the band was repolished, and returned to me looking better than ever. And she did this all for no charge!! I'm blown away by the customer service and so grateful to Rada for going out of her way to help me. Will definitely be returning to scoop up some more pieces in the future. In short: this place is amazing, go check it out and support Rada's growing business!! read more

Zaver & Mor - Jewelry Near Me - Berkeley, California

Very nice selection of engagement rings here. I was looking for something low profile, not too flashy -- Zaver & Mor had so many fantastic options! The owner Rada knew exactly what I had in mind and showed me each option. She was so kind, patient, and lovely to talk to. She has relationships with several of the jewelers so she can easily set you up to get a beautiful custom design. I highly recommend Zaver & Mor for slightly less conventional, but still classy engagement rings with top notch customer service. read more

We had a wonderful experience buying our engagement ring and wedding band at Zaver & Mor. After visiting some other stores, we found a unique and appealing selection of rings at the Zaver & Mor and the personalized shopping experience we were hoping for. There was a ring with a setting that we fell in love with. And another stone (a green sapphire) from another ring we loved equally as well. The owner, Rada, sourced an exquisite green sapphire and replaced the other stone in the setting. Now I have the engagement ring of my dreams with a lovely band that compliments it perfectly. What is more, Zaver & Mor, and Rada, are now a part of our engagement story. read more

I've purchased a ring, earrings, a pendant, and a set of bracelets here that are all beautifully crafted and of unique contemporary design. This lovely gallery is just full of amazing hand wrought fine jewelry, as well as some outstanding heirloom pieces. The frosting on the cake is the attentive, kind, and friendly service you will receive from Rada, the owner, who is always happy to tell you about the jewelry and the artists who create it. She is such a lovely person that I sometimes just drop by to chat - and look at all the gorgeous things, of course. I highly recommend Zaver and Mor, and am looking forward to my next purchase there! read more

A varied and well curated selection of fine jewelry. Sales associate was welcoming and did not pressure me into buying anything, unfortunately I can't remember her name. The store has a more comfortable and low pressure atmosphere than other jewelry shops I have been in. Perhaps the dog sleeping by the door had something to add to that. A great store to visit while in Berkeley. read more

One of the best experiences at a jewelry store yet. A no pressure approach, yet extremely patient, pleasant, and knowledgeable. We are looking at engagement rings and wedding rings/bands. They have a wide selection and variety, including vintage rings from the early 1900s that will stand out for their craftsmanship and unique design. (note: have not purchased from them, in the browsing phase of the process.) read more

Rada was an absolute joy to work with! I came to Zaver & Mor looking for my wedding set about a month before my wedding. We had previously purchased an inexpensive engagement from somewhere else, but after 2 years I wasn't thrilled with it. After visiting countless jewelry stores I was easily able to find exactly the set I had been dreaming of! I was able to purchase the band right there on the spot (correct size and everything!) and Rada helped special order me the second diamond band to match from the artist. The process was a breeze and to top it all off we thought the 2nd band wouldn't be ready until after our wedding, but the artist finished early I was able to have it in time for the ceremony! Wonderful experience, best customer service ever. Please go see them. read more

Rada (and her store) are amazing. Rada was flexible and communicative when trying to coordinate our schedules via email and so warm, genuine and helpful in person. She some how manages to be professional while simultaneously making you feel like your chatting with a friend in her living room over coffee. I wasn't even shopping, only getting a ring cleaned and sized, yet she gave me every bit of respect and attention you might think would only be reserved for a bigger spender. Her inventory is beautiful and her customer service is superb and down-to-earth. I cannot recommend her more highly. read more

I stumbled upon this wonderful jewelry store while looking for something nice for my wife's birthday. Zaver & Mor is one of those unique jewelry stores where everything for sale has been personally sourced by the owner whether from the many fine craftsmen of today or vintage sources. It's worth stopping by just to see how much fine jewelry is being crafted today. The vintage pieces are also beautiful. There's also a wide range of prices - I found the perfect piece for my wife at Zaver & Moor and plan to return again soon. read more

This is an elegant jewelry store with different price points. I walked around the whole store and spied a beautiful ring that I had to have. Rada, the owner was so helpful in showing me the ring and sharing info about the gemstones and diamonds. Needless to say, after I put it on, I had to have it. Best purchase! and I get so many compliments on the ring. Zaver and Mor has a great selection of unique and beautiful jewelry. It also is a cool looking store, love the cloches in the window. Take a look and buy from here, you won't be sorry. read more

Rada is a great salesperson- down to earth, and very knowledgeable of what she sells. And when I had trouble with my rings (I didn't know to not take my silver ring into a chlorine pool) she got them fixed up by the jeweler who made them. For those who are concerned about gem-sourcing and the chemicals involved in jewelry making, the store sells beautiful jewelry from artists who recycle/upcycle materials. read more

I bought an emerald in Colombia and wanted a setting for it. I chose an antique setting Zaver & Mor had and when I went in to see the finished ring, I was amazed how gorgeous the emerald had become. It looked clearer and brighter. I LOVE the setting and Rada is a lovely, knowledgeable, and considerate store owner! I can't say enough about Rada and my great ring!!!!!! read more

It is hard to describe how unique and beautiful this "gem" of a store is! Rada, the owner, has impeccable taste and a great deal of knowledge and is a sheer delight to work with. We have had the good fortune to work with her on many pieces. My daughter and her new husband bought beautiful and elegant wedding bands and in fact, the bride was adorned in the most stunning diamond drop earrings I have ever seen! Her jewels only enhanced the magic and sparkle of the evening! This little store rivals the quality of a Tiffany's or a Bulgari to name just two...but it is so much more personal. Rather than stunning, but mass produced pieces, you can find exquisite one of a kind jewels that are much more personal. This to me is the hallmark of a fine curator who showcases exceptional artisans. Rada makes sure that she has a wide range of price points and her knowledge is impressive. Whenever I step into her charming store I know I will find something "I must have!" Make no mistake, this is a full service jewelry store but with heart and soul...the pieces we have purchased from Rada we treasure and will keep in our family for generations to come. read more
