Because the property was a floating home, holding an on-site estate sale was not possible, and with the pending sale we did not have time for a traditional liquidation process. We initially found an estate company that would have been ideal, but they ultimately determined that the job was beyond their scope. We then contacted Sorted Estates, and the experience was exceptional. Because we were working remotely, all coordination had to be done through photographs. We sent as many images as possible and explained that our goal was to have the floating home completely cleared. They provided an estimate based on that information and followed through exactly as promised. On the scheduled day, they arrived with two trucks and a five-person crew. By the end of the day, the home was entirely empty, with two full truckloads delivered to donation sites. Communication throughout the process was clear, responsive, and professional. Given the constraints and complexity of the situation, their performance was genuinely impressive.

Prompt replies, thoughtful questions and answers, caring about our feelings towards all the items in the house and the house itself, patience with my sisters and I, their thoroughness in going through everything (and finding hidden treasures we had overlooked), and the timely manner in which they were able to clear the house for us - these women are amazing at getting the job done. Yes...there is cost involved, and for us, it was totally worth every penny because it allowed us time to process and grieve the passing of our mother. I highly recommend Sorted Estates!

It is humanly impossible for 25 people in about 20 cars to arrive, sign in, and drive away in that time , especially when no one was visible outside the house. If that's truly possible, maybe I should be contacting Guinness World Records instead of leaving reviews. Very poor experience with this company today. I saw an estate sale posted online and, since I live in the neighborhood, decided to check it out. We arrived at 6:03 a.m.--just three minutes after the address was posted--yet there were already 25 people on the list. No one was around the house or double parked, which makes it obvious the owner shares the address with friends or frequent customers before it's posted. It's also clear the company caters to dealers, both through this practice and the low prices they give them. This is disappointing and unfair to the families who trust them to handle their loved ones' estates. Please be cautious--other companies will provide fairer prices and more transparency. I will not be returning to any future sales.

I waited for 30 minutes (only one new person was allowed in during that time) and left. I will steer clear of this company's sales moving forward. Try Beehive or Greyson if you are looking for a decent company that is friendly and doesn't create lines for no reason.

I hate to write a bad review because I know how much effort goes into these sales, especially having 4-5 employees on staff at the sale, but... These prices are based on comparables on eBay. This pricing is too high for a local estate sale and much higher than the competition. Very few prices are marked so you are at Gina's mercy when you approach her check out. She's very hard nosed and will not haggle. This certainly isn't fun as the name "Fun Sales" implies. Unlike the other one star reviews I will not attack the owner's character. I did not find her to be rude. She's just very very kurt. I don't wish to hurt het business with this review, but I think if she really saw how her competition operates, i.e. most of them offer 50% off on the last day, most will bargain with you and give you a deal if you bring a stack of stuff to the checkout, and many will chat with you. Gina heard me talking about the provenance of the sale and asked in a very condescending tone if I had read the sale description. Oh yes. I also noticed her sales are not listed on websites like GSalr.com or estatesales.org like her competitors. Is there a reason? And why the name change from Every Little Thing to Fun Sales? Perhaps it is one business to do estate liquidation and another to conduct the sales. From a marketing perspective it's confusing. My suggestion is that this outfit should take this critique to heart. I was not the only one leaving nearly empty handed or grumbling on the way out the door. We have other choices and right now they seem much more appealing.

Diego was great, but the owner desperately needed more help than she had in the moment. It turned out that she only accepted AppleCash and Venmo, this seemingly coming as a surprise to the majority of people in the 40 minute long line. None of this was broadcast until one reached the head of the line...unfortunately the kid in front of me wasted 40 min of his life to discover this. I paid for him because I didn't want it to be a complete waste, but them we ran in to an issue of only a portion of the items having been priced. One of which was pure miscommunication, but based on the item having NO PRICE on it...if you want top dollar, that's fine, PRICE THE ITEM ACCORDINGLY. At the very least have the people working for you aware of your desired price. Any attempt to get a price was unsuccessful, thus requiring a 45 minute slog in line to get a price 10x what was quoted. As for the other unpriced items, there seemed to be a total arbitrary set of criteria...$5 for a dented set of old, aluminum measuring spoons? Pass. Again, if you are trying to maximize your take home by running a skeleton crew (2 people!) , you do you, but it does a disservice to the customers. Hire more people, take credit cards, price stuff so people can make the decision w/o milling back and forth expecting some assistance beyond at the cash counter.

I went to the estate sale on Glen Dr in San Leandro last week. It would have given them a five star but as I was checking out, I noticed someone at the tables on the opposite side of me, looking at two loppers. I mentioned that I didn't notice the loppers earlier to the cashier (who was super sweet). She turned around to look at the loppers, then asked her colleague, who was stationed at the jewelry, if the loppers were on hold for someone. Instead of hearing what she was saying, he thought it was appropriate to get angry at the customer who was looking at them. He was so angry that he must have forgotten how to be a human, because basically just yelled at the customer, saying "No!" and huffed as he furiously waved to where I was standing, indicating that the customer should be on the side where I was standing. Did he think the customer couldn't speak English? Is that why he stopped using his words and just waved his hands? From a customers perspective, this was wildly off putting. Even my partner and his mom and the lady who checked me out were shocked.
