Before I continue, did you already judge me? You know why. You thought I left out the two 'b's at the end of dumb, didn't you? It was intentional, bro. Sorry, I mean: bruh. Anyway, this is the only establishment on my so-far and short-lived Long Island adventures where I was greeted with a smile. I'm not sure of the spelling but maybe Kaile or Kailee. She even offered me a tour. That is how it should be done. It seems as though Long Islanders might be a little stressed due to enormous property taxes and other insane costs of living. I don't blame them. Anyway, after a brief intro and information about the location, I did some chest, biceps, triceps, and cardio. I have a small injury that prevents me from going all-out rn so I do the best I can. The gym is a little tight but the equipment is good. I especially liked the treadmills up-button because it doesn't do the loud beep beep beep beep beep like a heart monitor. And it was a pretty smooth jog. For Italian and Chinese food adventures, you can keep an eye on upcoming reviews. And I'm about to hit this casino (not playing anything due to no poker) and will check the vibe for an hour or two. It's right around the corner from where I'm staying. Then off to RunGood in Hersey tomorrow-Sunday. I didn't teach you much about Planet Fitness, did I? Well, it's a cool place. You should go. You could have just fast forwarded to the end.

This was my first spin class in probably 7-8 years so I was slightly nervous how I would be able to keep up at this stage in my life. The studio is extremely organized and prior to coming, they request that you chose a bike on their site and pick your shoe size. Then upon entering, your shoes are ready in the cubbies which are assigned according to the # bike that you chose. Love the preparation so there is no wandering around and figuring it out when you get there. There were a few instructors greeting everyone entering with such great energy, making everyone feel at ease and welcome. The studio provides a locker with a lock which is extremely helpful. Gone are the days of leaving belongings in an unlocked locker. Then make your way to the bikes. At each bike there was a clean towel and 2 arm weights. This workout was definitely full body. Alex was a fantastic instructor. Her energy radiated the room and she encouraged everyone of all levels to push through their goal. The entire time she reminded the group to go at a pace they felt comfortable while still leading us to engage and push our hardest to the finish line. She was an extremely motivating leader while still keeping the workout feeling fun and achievable. Finishing the class gave me such a sense of accomplishment! I cant wait to come back!

Shawna thinks "outside the box" on a weekly basis, and has brought Heather to new and unbelievable heights to her powerlifting career! Thanks so much Shawna for your continued patience and perseverance, and for creating our gold medal hopeful! ( Heather started her powerlifting career at age 41! She recently deadlifted 300lbs! )

Would definitely come back but can't honestly see myself spending more than what you'd get with a typical (dare I say real?) gym membership since it's not an open-access style gym. At least for the classes I went to, it seems people come here for motivational speaking, emotional support, advice on how to start exercising at all (or after a long long break) and socializing. Don't get me wrong -- it's definitely as intense as you want it to be, and chances are strong you'll be in military shape if you stick to it, but it's not about weight-lifting or cardio equipment. If you're not sure whether you want to drop the cash, don't worry because they always have deals circulating somewhere (check their website or call if you're seriously interested).

She was patient, encouraging, and made it easy to ask questions and try new things without feeling intimidated.
