The Big Apple (featuring Bath Gin [what they make here], hopped rhubarb Bath Gin, apple schnapps, escubac, lime juice, and tonic) is really refreshing, but it's the Little Italy that I felt the most feelings for: Bath Gin, coffee-infused campari, cocchi torino, and apricot liqueur. The presentation is straight out of a magazine, the ingredients are all delicious, and it packs a serious wallop. "In vain have I struggled. It will not do. My feelings will not be repressed. You must allow me to tell you how ardently I admire and love you." Is that too much for a drink or a bar? Ahhhh, you'll see what I mean when you check it out. Upstairs, The Distiller's Bar, has more gins and cocktails but I never made it up there. They set me up with a tasting of various English wines and I was pleasantly surprised! The staff was quite knowledgeable about local wines and expanded my horizons on English winemaking! All I was doing was being polite and amicable to the drunk girl, trying to get her away from me and my partner.(which the table opposite clapped and said "fair play guys you handled that drunk girl better then we would have") When I challenged the matrie'd she said she will get the CCTV to prove this is what happened. I waited for another 10 minutes and no one come to the table so I called the manager. I spoke to the manager and said I've just been accused of selling and taking drugs from this girl, please get the CCTV because maitre'd said she will get it to prove we had done such a thing! Conveniently the CCTV wasn't actually working in the area we was sitting in. By now my partner was upset and and panicking, I asked them to call the police to search me if this was what I was being accused of and nothing. The manager was as spineless as his maitre'd the whole company needs to go onto a customer training course and they need to think before they start accusing people of doing crimes on their premises.
