He's been there…read moresince 2001, and was the 'young new kid in the neighborhood' then, but has really become a true neighborhood barber. His new-ish business partner, Dave, has also added to the experience. He's newer but he's just as kind, helpful, and capable as Nick. The Red Sox vs. Yankees rivalry between them is friendly, fun, and with plenty of rapport. They also both give a great haircut, and have managed to keep the cuts under 20 bucks, which makes a difference! They take appointments every day, and have talked about opening up on an occasional saturday, but they are one of the few shops open till later in the evening. I'll keep going back. I'll keep sending them customers. I'd bring my friend, my kid, or my brother here--great place, guys. Keep it up. Gave Nick's a try since my other barber was booked. I was not disappointed with the service. It is a small shop, only two chairs, and it was pretty hard to find because I drove past it without even knowing. Dave cut my hair and even though I was a few minutes late he did not rush through the cut. He seemed pretty focused on details and was very open to comments and my suggestions of "a little more here" and "a bit shorter there". I've honestly never felt that comfortable with a barber right off the bat. The phone did ring off the hook and since Dave was the only one in the shop we had to pause multiple times. He made sure everything was to my satisfaction. At the end of the cut, the finishing touches were the hot shaving cream for the back of the cut and a skin toner. For $18 a cut, I will definitely be going back.

My oldest (adult) son has sensory issues and is very anxious when it comes to haircuts. Heather was great with him, as well as my teenage son. I had her cut my hair as well and was happy with the results. Not only are her haircuts very affordable in comparison with other barbers and salons in the area, she is pleasant to talk to and can usually fit the 3 of us into one or 2 time slots, making scheduling haircuts very convenient since my kids don't drive and I work full time. Also a huge selling point for me is that I can schedule our appointments online and see what her availability is.

I called the Supercuts in the big Y shopping center only Yesterday. I spoke to a nice woman Stephanie, who said she would be there at the salon at around 12 o'clock on June 30. I booked an appointment very easily online. I had a wash and a blower and a style. I was warmly greeted by Stephanie when I arrived. She is professional , experienced, and very cordial I give this salon a five star PLUS rating review. They cater to all ages, women, men, and children. Sign up for their e-mailing list to get coupons. This one is located in the same plaza as Big Y. Parking is ample and the hairstylist was friendly. I showed her pictures of the style I wanted and she delivered. I haven't tried out their hair coloring or highlighting services yet but I definitely recommend a haircut!
